Stratos 3,192 Posted October 15, 2023 Hello, I ask here why I am very lost and just as there are people who live everywhere here, then some idea comes up and can help me. A friend of mine from Belgium has to move and has decided to give me all his wargames and his books and magazines. This implies the good two pallets of it, but as you will understand that it is not possible to send it by courier. Does anyone have an idea of the best/cheapest way to send all that to Spain? Thank you!
Silberpfeil 363 Posted October 15, 2023 I've used DHL (I think they call it Parcel Connect) for large boxes. Not sure if they handle pallets, but it's a start...
+daddyairplanes 10,306 Posted October 15, 2023 (edited) it may be cheaper to rent a truck or van and drive. not knowing you two's cities i checked Madrid to Antwerp (first cities per country off top of my head) 1600 km, about two days trip each way. a 2500 km (well 1600 mile for me) trip took me about 3 days with flying back after the drive. would have been 2 1/2 but i drove into a bad snow storm at the tag end of it. edit: possibly faster for your drive. i forgot that most European highways have faster speed limits than American ones and i couldnt get above 65mph until i crossed the Mississippi River Edited October 15, 2023 by daddyairplanes
+Trotski 936 Posted October 16, 2023 I was going to suggest the same option as daddy made. it would probably be cheaper than paying the likes of DHL or UPS.

+Erik 1,816 Posted October 18, 2023 I would look for a LTL "Less Than Load" carrier in those areas and get quotes by contacting them. Here's my search term I put into Google "ltl freight spain to belgium". Here's the results I got back, yours may vary.
