Unusual B-1 camo

In the net i found this photos of B-1 from 1981, which shows the bird in unusal colors.

thats 76-0174, the fourth B-1A

the spine holds some  of the ECM gear that was further developed for hte B models a few years later iirc

Not so sure about that, there was nothing ECM related in the backbone of the B except some waveguides and RF cables

of the B, no there wasnt

but in the 4th  A  yes. its where they packed the stuff in development after the airframe had already been completed

Cool pics. That aircraft is on display at the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Nebraska today.
