This reminds me of a time, probably about fifteen years ago, when I bought a model of EA-6 that came with a Playboy watermark sticker:good:That was the second model I made, ended up giving it away as a gift.

I would say about 1967 when F-84F were sent to Vietnam and  after the switch-over from the natural aluminum finish was made in 1966 under the Air Force Manual 66-1 standardization process.

You're right my friend mistake on my part... no F-84F in vietnam ! :salute:

damn near every USAF aircraft got the SEA camo treatment after 1967. pure interceptors (F-101Bs, F-106s) and special mission birds were the exception to that rule. and the F-102 was the exception to the exception :stars:
