  1. Carl 'Stormin' Norman has confirmed in this thread on UBI that they are working on an SU-25T (SU-39 in western terminology) add on for the Russian/CIS market. To avoid any confusion you better read Carls comments yourself but i can at least try to do a short resume: UBI is the publisher for the western markets while ED has the publishing rights for the Russian/CIS market and has the option to do independant add ons for the western market if they so desire. As you allready know UBI has decided that it will not continue to support any new development for LoMac so ED has to decide wether or not it will be profitable for them to develop add ons for the western market. The add on they are working on atm is being developed for the russian market and might or might no tbe compatible with the US/UK and European versions. As it is not being developed with the western market in mind there might be problems with language versions etc.. In the above thread Carl states that if they do completely new flyables like the F/A-18 they will come in a new simulation and not in the form of an add on. Since ED will probably use the LoMac engine for such a new flyable, one can allways hope that it will be compatible with LoMac and that the the expression "new simulation" in this context means "stand alone but compatible" ... it has been done before with other sims. Check the link above if you want to see Carls comments for yourself and avoid confusion (if possible ;) ).
  2. i dont know much... but the top end Logitec or Creative both get good reviews for their top-end models. Dont expect too much in terms of quality. Even a god webcam comes nowhere near a small digicam in term of picture quality and for a good framerate you will proably need a bit more light in the evenings than you would normally want. Webcams does give you a little better FPS than a digicams that can be used as webcams would I use the NX pro from Creative - many oof their cams ca be mounted on a laptop. Cehck out Logitec as well. If you dont use a headset then get one with a built in mic. Mine comes with a mic but not built in and the cord would be unhandy for use with a laptop even though the camera is able to clip onto the screen:
  3. OMG... you drink too much cofee or something ;) Looking forward to your next creation
  4. This is great SkyPat...I will get right on it... or get MJ or Fates right on it;)
  5. Let me know if you find out anything Chief... I like logbooks
  6. Everything worked fine until yesterday evening. Now i keep getting this error that you see in the attached picture. I have tried making a new log book via "options" menu but then it just says exactly the same about the new file
  7. Looks sweet! I might have to bite the bullit and get some payware stuff
  8. I was practicing a bit in the Jetranger on the Biohaz server yesterday when Firehawkordy dropped in. I had been going over the same routiunes for so long that i had forgotten that was on a MP server so it was quite a surprice. I good one. It was getting rather late and i was tired from practicing too hard so unfortunately i couldn't stay long. I'm looking forward to flying with with you again and meet the rest of the MSFS oldtimers
  9. Ahh that helped a lot. Thank you.
  10. I'm impressed... and a little bit jealous I will give it a go at a lower realism setting. My head is spinning
  11. I got the trackIr working. But those choppers are giving me a hard time...i have spent some time reading the stuff at HoverControl but that Bell thing is still acting up on low speeds
  12. Hi Triian and welcome to Biohaz I'm glad you like it There is no exchange of skins etc when you join a MP game so the other players just see the standart skins or what they themseldves has installed instead. Weapon mods are seen by other players. ....and i'll just let you get away with posting such things here this time ;)
  13. All but the F15 one is now available in LoMan format
  14. Thanks i will do a new install of trackIr then. I will probably be back soon for more advice :)
  15. Hi Axle and welcome to Biohaz If LoMan says it installed the skins it probably did. LoMan cant add skins only replace them. Each plane has several skins and LoMan doesn't neccesarily replace the skin you happened to use. Go to the Payload Screen and browse the different skins - its probably there somewhere
  16. I was missing some chopper fun and also just something to fly when i dont feel like making life miserable for som poor shilka driver so i took the plunge. Next up is finding a profile for my x36, making the traickIr2 work with the game and perhaps finding some dl's to enhance the game a little - it isnt the most beautiful game i have ever seen but i look forward to all the rest that this sim has to offer nevertheless
  17. All Archers cockpit mods are now available in LoMan compatible format Thanks for the mods Archer Thanks for the LoMan conversions Ruggbutt
  18. ...as Firehawordy says. Alternatively look for a used X36
  19. congratulations!
  20. Hey Rugbutt - you can allways mail them to me at ghostdog@biohazcentral.com
  21. hmm.. unless you mean how to extract skins from LoMac so that you can mod them? In that case you should use LoMan to extract the skins... i wouldn't which files to extract them from though. I havent so far had the time to fool around with skinnning
  22. Ubi has apparently released the at least the german version of 1.02. Get it here UBI has seems to have forgotten to announce this release so maybe the french version is also floating around somewhere. I will try to find out
