I havent used newsgroups in ages... seems kind of dated doens't it? Bittorrent sounds good but as i understand it its effectiveness is limited when dealing with less popular files: Ie winter textures for a filghtsim

Hi Debug These post are from way back when and referring to Surfing Wombats Snowtextures. At the time i decided against hosting them because we had bandwithproblems. The snow textures that everybody is talking about now is "the Crimean frosty" and i intend to mirror it when its released proper. There is a beta available out there : i think its on www.lockonskins.co.uk but dont kill me if it a wrong URL ... i'm typing from memory here. If you are still interested in the original textures by SW then let me know and i'll see what i can do. GhostDog

I like patches - they serve as reminders... i havent played AEP since LoMac 1.2 - now i will be sure to check out the new patch for this game. Too many games and too little time.

I dont think distribution will be a problem. Biohaz for one would be happy to host ;) I suggest you all go to the official bugs thread (link in top post) and report at least what you consider the most important bugs you suffer.

Welcome to BIohaz! :) from the readme: You can open it in any simple text editor I know that some think that there are several undocumented features besides those listed but i'm not sure which.

I would :D ... but i dont think i would go as far as saying i love racing sims. But i'm interested. I have read that one of the sims scheduled for release this year has TrackIr support. I cant remember which one but i can find out. Thats one of the things that makes me even more intrerested

The thought might make you drool but it doesn't look like its going to happen. There might be a good chance that ED will produce an F18 sim, possibly LoMac compatible, but its not going to be called be (called) LoMac. Check out the "Future of LoMac" thread and check the thread that is linked to there

BF1942 is a great game for blowing things up - i play it a lot again now when i need to relax from simming. The many mods make it an extremely varied experience. Take a look at my "supermod" topic in in the BF1942 section. If it has to be si i would say that its never too late to get into IL2 - get it along with the Aces Expansion Pack. Many hours of fun there. It feels great. Good flightmodels. An because these planes dont have advanced avionicsthat stops yoiu fram getting kills with less than 15 hours training time in each plane you will want to try out the different planes. Overall graphics is better in LoMAc but IL2 has some things like water going for it. Also dammage models are great.

My guess is that Stormin wouldn't post something like this without being mostly inclined to actually go ahead and do it. If you have any bugs that hasn't been brought up in the official thread that Stormin is linking to i suggest you report them there.

Hey Archer. Great pics you post but you should really post some of them in the "Pub" when they are not LoMac specific. Its not not a big nono or anything - its just that your pics like these might be of interest to some who play other sims and dont bother to check the LoMac boards :)

In all games or in one specific game? If you havent tried it check it out in more game than one. In the test window (calibration) does it seem to respond as it should? The middle of the cross should reach the edges of the box - or at least close to - if it does you stick and drivers works fine and its a game problem
