  1. That pretty much sums it up :D
  2. to Hammer: Is it in the same mission or is there any 100% sure way of reproducing it? ... or is it just a random thing To JJ: I havent noticed it during MP but i will test it tonight.
  3. JayJay I just did a little testing on the chaff/flares thing. I didn't have any problem getting them replensihed when rearming but ther was one thing that looked a little odd: If you look had the chaff/Flares counter by you right elbow (a little hard if you havent dont the view constraints tweak) you can see that the first time your counter reaches zero it cycles back all the way from 99. After rearming there just is the number that the counter shows initially. 28 i think. I rearmed multiple times without problem though. Both gunrounds and chaff/flares gets replenished
  4. Thanks Snacky. I do like the new RWR - But its just nice knowing who is gunnoig for you.
  5. i havent had this problem - at least not yet. And i have rearmed quite a few times. Is it reproducable?
  6. I posted this on the UBI board in the hope that some testers or devs would take time to look at it. In the meantime maybe some of you could help me out: I was working on a reference card for the A10 RWR but i'm missing some info. I started chekking the symbology when i noticed that the ship "\_/" symbol had been dropped in 1.02. If they had kept the same symbols without the ship icon that would have meant that several naval units would have the same RWR symbol as some ground units. Ie. the Kuznetsov and the Tunguska might both be "S6" I just ran some quick tests that show that the symbol for the Kuz is now "SW" and the symbol for Neustrahimi is now "TP". I was wondering if the Devs or perhaps some of the beta testers that might have this info would like to share it? This info isn't in the any of the documents supplied with 1.02 Also i'm missing some info on the min/max ranges of some of the g2a units. I would like to include this in the reference chart. If somebody has a list i would very much like to see it. Especially the ranges of the naval units anti-air armaments. Thank you
  7. According to Nic Cole, in a very short post on the UBI board, the enhanced manual (at least the PDF version) will be updated to reflect LoMac ver 1.02. This will probably happen in the second week of July. As yet there is nothing official at www.lomac-manual.com.
  8. I'm sorry to hear that. Dont you have a vet ER? It doens't sound good.
  9. i was about to faint whe first time i laid my hands on a TM Cougar but i am not about to buy a stick that costs as much as a that and that would would probably need upgrades within the first year in the same order to function as expected. The feel and the look is great but i have heard to many horror stories. I bought my Saitek X35 combo for a fifth of the cost of a cougar and i have had it for 5 years without any problems - exept that Saitek took their sweet time getting their drivers updated to XP
  10. Hey Eagledeer and welcome to BioHaz Many effects in the game gives a noticable stutter the first time you use them. Guns, explosions, flares and others... once they have been used i guess the efx's are cached in ram. I dont think theres anyway to completely get rid of that.
  11. beautilful plane, beautilful sim
  12. i dont think you missed any post on it here but there allready is some pretty good pictures and explanations in the read_me_102 file in your LoMAc dir... or on PDF in the sticky here on this board. Not to brush you off - if you still think you need more pics after taking a look at the readme file i'll gladly upload some
  13. It looks fancy but it sounds to me like a mistake to go for a twist-handle rudder on a HOTAS. The rocker-rudder on the X36/45 is a great compromise but i wouldn't want a twist rudder. When i upgrade its probably going to be a CH setup unless some something better comes along
  14. yeah... but if you can do witout a HOTAS Saitek makes some very good sticks that can be switched to lefthanded and are highly programmable still. Saitek Cyborg 3D can be picked up used for next to nothing as is a very good stick.
  15. Hey HAmmer and welcome to Biohaz. Click on you name in the top bar. Click on "edit my signature". Type [ IMG ]http://home.wi.rr.com/roadway/hammersig1.gif[ /IMG ] ...(remove spaces) and click on "Update my Signature" EDIT: ... ahh shouldn't have told you. That other sig with the moving A10 is going to haunt me ;)
  16. yeah i hosted for a short while - I have 256/128. My actual connection speed is 512/128.. it sucks - i know. I'm still working up my courage to take a closer look at the network part of the readme: I get dizzy looking at so many numbers at a time
  17. Lomac has allways been most stable once everybody gets airborne. But all in all pretty lag-free as you say.
  18. thanks :D It did take me by surprise but i'm still think its geat that the model allows for such things to happen... also shooting own choppers with rockets is a good pastime B)
  19. Beer was all over the place when we started up the last coop mission.. rammed me twice on the tarmac before we even got the engines spooled up. I don't know his settings though
  20. a bit yes. I think i will probably read up on how the connectionspeeds should be set up for both player and host. I have played missions with many more players and no warping at all
  21. By TerraQuelle: available here
  22. Rapier71 has just updated his kneeboard for the US planes: Changes over V1.00: - Fixed problem with alpha channel transparency, which caused a black box around the legs - there's only one texture now, to reduce size. [quote Aavailable for DL here .. (in the "misc" section)
  23. Yeah its really late - I am GMT +1 so teh sun was about up when we quit
  24. How embarrasing But it was great fun Here a screenshot of our great leader on final:
