ok each lod shows up when i put the them to [LOD001] and it seems that they are working, i changed the settings to: [LOD001] Filename=LAU-59_Mk40_Mk1c.lod Distance=5 [LOD002] Filename=LAU-59_Mk40_Mk1c_Lod2.lod Distance=15 [LOD003] Filename=LAU-59_Mk40_Mk1c_Lod3.lod Distance=50 and at a certain point ( maybe 50 meters ) only the rockets remain if i zoom out , the launchers are gone , only between Lod001 and Lod002 i cant find any difference

the lod is in the folder , i made now so many weapons but only now i found this problem , so it is not only with this particular weapon i posted above , this problem i have with many ( all ? ) weapons i made the name Lod2 or Lod3 is something that TW is using as well , so i dont think that this would be the problem i wonder if it is something with my game setup that causes this

i was looking how far i have to go to see no more changes between Lod001 and Lod002 , i started with Lod001 at Distance=15 and to my surprise i could not see any changes because the Lod002 never appeart any idea what is wrong here ??? olive drab motor is most likely a AGM-65D , white motor is a AGM-65B the pictures i have from the K version shows a grey colored missile without the HK-2 mark , except for the Hungarian AGM-65K ( they are white ) for AGM-65H2 no idea the missile with olive drab motor and grey colored seeker could be a simple AGM-65D , the CCD seeker has a clear glas and looks like a AGM-65B seeker

The designation AGM-65H was assigned to AGM-65B/D missiles upgraded with the new CCD seeker , the AGM-65K is an AGM-65G upgraded with the CCD seeker. At least 1200, but possibly up to 2500, AGM-65G rounds are planned for conversion to AGM-65K standard. The CATM-65H and CATM-65K are the captive-carry training versions of the AGM-65H/K the CCD seeker section for both versions are the same and named HK-2 here is a renamed AGM-65B , this AGM-65B was renamed to AGM-65H and changed to an CCD seeker at Ramstein AB , the missile in your picture above is a AGM-65D with CCD seeker renamed to AGM-65H

Canadian CF104 Nuclear bombing role?
ravenclaw_007 replied to Stratos's topic in Military and General Aviation
i assume they did it the same way as the german F-104G crews , go low go fast , as for the weapons deployment i think it was something similar as shown below for navigation the crews would have maps from the target area and maps for the way to the target area and they would follow as much as possible natural features , assumed targets would be mostly in east - germany and poland and a high los of aircraft and crew was calculated in my home base was near to Memmingen air base our alternate landing base in bad weather , the picture below was taken there , so we saw regularly F-104g going low and fast even in bad weather conditions as long as the ceiling was not below minima , and we had some close encounters while flying very low in a altitude you as a helicopter crew normaly would not expect a F-104G or a F-4F german F-104G with B61 nuclear bomb -
i´m working on the Mk.77 fire bomb series and i have finished the MK77 mod4 , mod 5 and mod 6 , i would like to make the Mk77 mod2 and or mod 3 as well but i would need some more detail pictures of this bomb in particular of the front and rear as well as the filler holes this are the pictures i have of this Mk77 mod2 or mod 3 bombs , i have no idea what kind of igniter and fuze was used here , so if you have some info or good pictures of this particular bomb pleas send them to me , i NEED them this is what i have finished so far Mk77 mod4 Mk77 mod 4 with AN-M23A1 igniter and Fuze Mk77 mod 5 Mk77 mod 6 without the thread in the front and rear igniter cavity
