OK a few things. 1: First and foremost. There ain't one foreign plane that could go toe - toe with the cat and win. Simply put, The meanest aircraft in the history of Naval Aviation. Oh and the few flyable Cats Iran still has are far from contention. They cannot even operate to the Cats full potential due to shortages of Phoenix missiles and the lack of replacement parts, not to mention that their pilots are a sorry lot to start with 2: I have realized that the way I have redone the buttons in the hangar means that every aircraft hangar will have this button configuration. Not good for the other planes! So I have decided that I will remake every hangar screen to acommodate this. 3: if anyone has pictures that they want me to include, I'll be happy to use them. 4: If anyone knows how I can use multiple button combos for the hangar screen, please fill me in. 5: THANK YOU COYOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

I have always marveled at the rest of the world's carriers, and the launch ramp at the end. They are a tricky SOB to get off of, when you're used to the nice level deck and whiplash from the catapault. The funny thing is, and I never figured out why they want a ramp, that you lose a good 50-100 kts on that little ramp. ?!? Oh well if it aint broke, I guess they shouldn't fix it, huh Great pics Ranger. What game is that from?

Let's think about some things here. First why do you support this fool and his antics? Which leads me to the second issue. The first carrier deployment by F-14A Tomcats was made by VF-1 and VF-2 aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise (CVAN-65), in 1973. The Big E sailed to Vietnam to assist in the evacuation South Vietnam. In the absence of air threats the Cats had no chance to engage in combat. First blood was drawn for the Cats in August of 1981, when U.S.S. Nimitz (CVN68) was deployed to the Mediterranian Sea. During routine exercises, 2 F-14A from VF-41 Black Aces were engaged by 2 Lybian Su-22J Fitters. When the first Fitter fired an AA-2 Atol, the 2 Cats immediatly jumped the Su-22s, shooting one Su-22 down with guns, and the other with a Sidewinder.
