  1. Blocked due to copyright issues.. Too bad!
  2. I am of the same opinion actually.. and the thing is, those last 2% can take a very long time to achieve.. Just look at the Mirage F.1 project, it took almost two years to get it to current level, and then we started of with a working exterior model! I don't want to keep this for that long to myself.. I just wish to finish a couple more details before release..
  3. Also appreciated would be good pictures of the wingtip AIM-9 rails
  4. Without your work FC this project would never have come into existence... Guys does anyone of you have good detailed pictures of the 275gal and 150gal drop tanks of the F-5E? Also, do you want a 100% perfect product at release or would you be happy with something that is 98% there but released sooner? Because I feel sad to keep this to myself, it is already quite usable even if there are a couple of small details that needs fixing.
  5. Here is a couple of screenshots of the F-5E Tiger II of the Royal Dhimari Air Force. Loving the camo! Hope to get the F-5E released soonish.
  6. Oh yeas please do a series! I really like this camo scheme and having more planes is always better!
  7. Thanks guys, all models are planned of course but they F.1M might unfortunately be some ways down on the priority list because of the very different cockpit etc. The external model is done tho, but the cockpit is another matter. Right now we are concentrating on getting the C fighter series out of the door, and that includes the CG for the HAF too!
  8. Yeah sure, that is a good fix to do! Also, what about Pro-Western arab countries buying Mirages and then giving them to Paran, like the Saudis gave away their Mirages to Egypt (or was it Libya?) as political support? That way you can go around the political orientation problem. Also, Dhimar could be allied with S. Africa to get Kfir/Cheetah tech that way. The main problem as I see it is that in the 60s and early 70s the Soviet AAMs are mostly just AA-2s that can't hit shit, and no real credible BVRs until the AA-7s. I am in favor of keeping the number of Mirages low in comparison to MiG/Su numbers but I do like the mix they provide. And if we want to give Apex predators like the Eagle or Tomcat to Dhimar there needs to be a very credible opposition. As for Dhimar I think Mario (ValAstur) has done a stunning job with the camo shown here: http://combatace.com/topic/81822-the-chief-dwelling-in-the-sand/
  9. Awesome! DO you have plans for the F-4E also? If not if you post the RGB values of the camo I can make one in the same style for Ravenclaw's F-4E. But release please in any case!! I could do a F-5E also for the new one I am working on.
  10. Here is the result.. I am unsure about the wing pattern but other than I think it's pretty purdy
  11. Good points, but I must say that several countries did buy both Soviet block and French aircraft simultaneously, perhaps most famously Iraq during the 80s but Libya also had both kinds as you pointed out. Personally to me is seems that once Dassault realized the export potential of the Mirages they sold them to just about everybody that was not their direct enemy. Personally I do like the Paran roundel, and besides the mix of French/Soviet equipment gives more variety gameplay wise. This way we can have British/US vs France/Soviet rather than British/US/French vs the same old Soviets. Just my 0.02€. But sure, the storyline can be modded to make it more plausible I think! I'm gonna do a Snake2 scheme for the Mirage F.1 to see how it turns out.
  12. View File Mirage F1CE Mirage F.1CE This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. This add-on shows the Mirage F-1CE used by the Ejército del Aire. In June 1975, with tension growing with Morocco, Spain decided to strengthen its Air Force and bought 15 Mirage F1C that were allovated to Albacete AB. In mid-1976 there was still some tension with Morocco and Algerian and Libyan MiG-25 flights on the Mediterranean, which would made Spanish Air Force to purchase ten more Mirage F1C and two years later order 48 Mirage F1C and F1E. The aircraft here represents the first true F.1CEs delivered to Spain, with conformal ALE40 chaff/flare dispensers. Specificities : - Radar Cyrano IVM. - RWR. - Chaffs and Flares dispensers. Covered units : Ala 14, 141° Escuadron. Installation : - Copy and paste the Objects folder in your mod folder. Crédits : - Aircraft : BPAO and Centurion-1. - Cockpit : Brain32 and Centurion-1 - Skins : Centurion-1. - Decals : Paulopanz. - Templates : Brain32, ACE888 and Ludo.m54. - Avionics and data tweaks : Crusader. - FM : Baffmeister. - Interception light : Coupi - Missiles, rocket pods and seat : Ravenclaw_007. - Weapons : The Mirage Factory. - Hangars et loading screens : Centurion-1. A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy Ludo, Centurion and the whole Mirage F.1 Team! 13. With the release of the Desert 4 terrain I wanted to pick this up again, but I am still undecided of the paint scheme to use for the countries. So I decided to do some color profiles and then we can all get a say before I or anyone does anything. Trying out camo schemes like this is a lot faster than making skins. I can do more and even give the psd file if anybody wants to try something else. 3-tone 3-tone #2 Airbrush Cheetah Desert Splinter Sand Savannah Snake Snake #2 Snake LoViz My personal favorite is maybe Snake #2.
  14. Something nice waiting for approval in the download section.
