I would agree, past performance is not a pardon for current shortcomings. As I've said before, this game is one of the few black marks on the Strategy First name.

Honestly... the first one is kinda cheesy, not because of the artwork, but because G.I. Joe is had. Second one is a little over the top, kinda spacy. I like the one you have now, maybe you could change it a little bit if you dont like it, maybe add a missle comin off the rail, or show a kill of yours. Just some ideas, no need to take offense.

I thought the Sukhoi Su-33 was in the game, unless of course they cut it.

It's no use trying anymore, I cant join games, the voice comm usually f*cks up the game, and even if I do get in a game that actually works, it crashes after about 15 minutes, and then its a trial to get it back up and running. I only play 3 games online, and SF seems to be the most imcomparably sh*tty mp game ever created (atleast it is for me). IL2 runs f*ckin beatifully with a room full of people (and I'm running 56k), Ghost Recon kicks ass, with however many people. I'm not really complaining, I'm simply making a statement. Whenever patch 2 comes out, it better fix all of the bugs (and I mean every single one), otherwise I'm sure I wont be the only one using this cd for a coaster, or even as a frisbie. I love the F-4, and I love the single play (now), and I've heard rumors of an A-6 in the works( :D ), but as of my last few days of trying to get the game to work in mp, I really am starting to lose all respect for this game. I admire the vision that TK had, in creating a game for this time period, and I admire all of the hard work that the modders, and skinners, have done for this game, but I'm just beginning to wonder if all of the effort has been in vane. It's saddening to me to see such a sh*tty product be put out on the market, but it is becoming the norm for all games now. I find it to be revolting, to see that a company can just say to themselves "hey, we can just put the product out the way it is, and then patch it whenever". I hope that someone on UBI picks up this thread, and uses it as words of warning. It doesnt matter how long it takes LOMAC to come out, just make sure that it is atleast 95% complete when it does come out, and that missing 5% better not be MP SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know how long my vacation, from the stress of attempted MP in SF, will be, but I will say that it is a much needed one. For now it will sit on my CD shelf in the shadow of such games as IL2, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon (and its Xpacks), Madden 2003, Tropico, and even the horrid NHL 2003 (it may not look that good, but atleast it doesn't crash, and it didnt take a year to come out with a patch). All of the games listed above, work perfectly, or atleast at an acceptable level, and that was before they were patched. I may continue to fly my single player missions, but I will not be making an overwhelming effort in mp anymore, until I hear some real, concrete, resounding complements of patch 2. Im runnin the GeForce 4, with 64mb and DVI, love it, love it, love it, I just need more memory, and a faster processor, of course you could always get a 128mb :D , god I knows I wish I could.

ill probably have to try again in like a week, gotta buy a mixer... thinking maybe a Pioneer DJM 500 they run for like 400 on Ebay. Then there's always vinyl, and you can buy like 5 records for the cost of a carton. Its cool savage, Fast Eagle, has only recently quit, with his life in the balance and all. Just dont let it slide for too long, or atleast cut back, like me, its helpin me out in the cash dept. alot.

Whoa!!! Ranger comes through again!!! I dont know what half that sh*t means, but it must be good. Dagger... a banjo...? Well, its no worse than turntables.

Now if only they could make the Legacy as fast and have the same (or better range) than the Gulfstream G-550. But the Legacy is a much sexier plane than any other biz jet, and I havent really seen any military mods for Gulfsteams.

Dude did you get enough cash saved up for the HOTAS Cougar? I didnt quit completely, but.... 3 weeks of not smoking allowed me to save up like another hundred bucks, and my turntables should be on the way, within the next week. I'll probably have to end up quitting again, and again, and again. But I will, I've promised my lungs. Also, buy large hoop earings for your wives, and lots of hair spray. I just hope they dont bring back the early 90's, the horror of grunge, I cant believe I used to dress that way. Oh and 80's is cool, but late 70's is even better, if you are out clubbin that is, but tight pants and oversized collard shirts may not be such a good idea in the midwest. I think you should run, most (well the ones that want to win) always move to the center. Ex: Lil' Bush is a fanatical Conservative Chrisian, but that doesnt get the votes that "Compassionate Conservative" gets. Im pro war aswell... sometimes, everytime I think of Iraq or what I would do to France this little wavfile from "Stronghold" comes to mind "Burn them, Burn them all!!!", its an Engineer pouring boiling oil over the enemy... gruesome game. Speaking of, does anybody want to make a mod for the F-4 so that we may stick Napalm on our AA mounts... the more, the merrier.

This veterans day or was it last (you know what I mean). I was walking to class, and I saw a front license plate that said "Combat wounded Veteran" you know the one with the purple heart and what not. So I ripped out a peice of paper, and wrote down "Thank you and happy veterans day from a grateful American", and slipped it under the windshield. I really hope that made his/her day.
