Citation: For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty in action against the enemy near Billy, France, 25 September 1918. While on a voluntary patrol over the lines, 1st Lt. Rickenbacker attacked 7 enemy planes (5 type Fokker, protecting two type Halberstadt). Disregarding the odds against him, he dived on them and shot down one of the Fokkers out of control. He then attacked one of the Halberstadts and sent it down also.

Appointed from: Connecticut. Citation: For exceptionally meritorious service and extraordinary heroism while attached to Squadron C, 1st Marine Aviation Force, in France. 2d Lt. Talbot participated in numerous air raids into enemy territory. On 8 October 1918, while on such a raid, he was attacked by 9 enemy scouts, and in the fight that followed shot down an enemy plane. Also, on 14 October 1918, while on a raid over Pittham, Belgium, 2d Lt. Talbot and another plane became detached from the formation on account of motor trouble and were attacked by 12 enemy scouts. During the severe fight that followed, his plane shot down 1 of the enemy scouts. His observer was shot through the elbow and his gun jammed. 2d Lt. Talbot maneuvered to gain time for his observer to clear the jam with one hand, and then returned to the fight. The observer fought until shot twice, once in the stomach and once in the hip and then collapsed, 2d Lt. Talbot attacked the nearest enemy scout with his front guns and shot him down. With his observer unconscious and his motor failing, he dived to escape the balance of the enemy and crossed the German trenches at an altitude of 50 feet, landing at the nearest hospital to leave his observer, and then returning to his aerodrome.

Almccoyir Its a T1 version. Purchased 8-28-2007 Tried to flash back to the orginal BIOS and the thing quit midway . So, I had bought an extra warranty when I purchased this MOBO and the Ram in slot 3 wont lock down tight . I called today and they will replace it or send a check for my purchase price.

I bought it Oct or Nov 07. I feel like I have an edsel with my GTS8800 vid card sometime. I was going to update it but my son, an electrical engineer with Intel, said to hold off, things are changing a lot in the next yr.

Hi Almccoyir No I didnt reset the Bios to the defaults before I flashed to P33. So what I will do its reset to defaults and flash back to the previous Bios and see what happens. I dont know what model my 680i is, will let you know, I think its the AR model. cheers Grumpy

I have a 680i Evga MOBO. I updated my bios to the P33 about 2 months ago and since then my pc has been unstable. Right now i'm getting a code on the MOBO thats says my bios battery is bad. I changed it and I'm getting the same code. Sometimes after I do get it up and running it may freeze on me. I think I need to reflash back to the old bios. Any thoughts?Cheers Grumpybear

Catch I can select different bombs in the loadout screen but when I fly this I cant select any of the bombs. All the bombers in my group doesnt drop any bombs. Whats missing?

I downloaded the Camel from Skunkworks and she flies great. Really enjoy the plane. My problem is it has no color/skin/texture. It's like its all silver or somthing. I see the texture files in the object/aircraft/camel folder. Do I need to edit anything? Any help? Thanks GB

Hello everyone I need some help I was installed the Winter Terrain by Firecage and got it to work but my sounds dissappeared when I'm flying. I have music when i go into the game but when i fly i have no engine sounds, no machine gun sounds, nothing, dead silence. I put the terrain back to orginal settings and everthing looks and acts fine but still no sounds. any ideas?? please Thanks Grumpybear

I installed the FE patch and now the planes seem to swing instead of rolling. They also dont come or very slow to come out of a roll. They didnt do this before the patch. Is this due to a more realistic FM? Grumpybear

Winzip works with these files. when you open them there should be a readme txt file. Open this with notepad and you should be able to read the file. grumpybear
