NAA P-51A Mustang, 530FS, 311 FG, Skin and Ini Pak, For SF/WoV/WoE CBI installs This package contains modifications and a reskin of Wolf's P-51A as used in the CBI Theatre. These are the early Allison-engined versions. This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, -specifically- designed for use in the CBI style install of the games, if you've created CBI only WW2 install that is . I've seen no other references to "A" model Mustangs being used anywhere else in the Pacific Theatre. The skin represents aircraft from the 530th FS, 311 FG located in Burma, circa 1943. I say 'semi-complete', as only the skin and decals, plus various inis are included in this mod. You =WILL= be transfering several critical files from your original P-51A to get this mod to work. (see "To Install" below) Consider this a "Theatre Specific" type of aircraft mod. The various inis supplied in this kit, will give you the loadouts and other tweeks I've made that fit the time frame, and more importantly, the Theatre of Operations. "A" model Mustangs were slightly different in their usage and loads, then AAF ones used in the ETO/MTO - and different again from RAF ones. The P-51As as used in Burma at this time carried the 3-tube M-10 "Triple Bazooka" launcher, plus their usual compliment of bombs and machine guns. Nose guns are NOT used on this model. I have included a bunch of small files, NEW Loading and Hangar screens, SHD (shadow), and other bits. But remember -- the main aircraft LOD file is NOT included, as per Wolf's wishes, nor is the cockpit folder. His original "P-51A_readme.txt" is included as well. -= NOTE: you must have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =- =NOTE: you MUST have Wolf257s WW2 Planes Pak for the Original P-51A Lod and Cockpit folder (DUH!)= - This mod has been tested in SF, WoV and WoE. This mod is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 PTO style install of WoI, as it handles prop flight models in "a most unusual, and odd way"- PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed, easy to follow install instructions. Good Hunting! Wrench kevin stein (yes, I know it's the same screenie I used before...but I was too lazy to take another!)

MiG-19 Farmer New 1024x1024 Natural Metal Skin This is simply a re-do of the stock 3rd Wire MiG-19S Farmer-C skin into a larger, higher resolution unit. This is a simple replacement for you stock, itty-bitty ones. I call them 'semi-hirez', as they're only the 1024, which is a pretty good size for 98.6% of all the machines out there. All the panel and rivet lines have been redrawn, and it's painted a generic 'natural metal' color. Please see the enclosed readme for simple install instructions (nothing complicated this time!!! ) Enjoy! Wrench kevin stein

All markings are decals and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are in DDS format. Serial numbers, while correct for the aircraft should be conisdered "generic" in nature, not representing those that actually served with the AeroNavale. The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0. Wingfold is operated also with the SAK, Shift/9. Guns also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2. Pilot figure, engine sound, and a 'new' drop tank are included. Guns and bombs are not included, as these are the standard WW2 British types, available in many weapons packs. When in game, you'll see: Seafire Mk.IIIC FN (CAF) on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate =THIS= Seafire from any others you may (or may not) have. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Good Hunting! 9. um, that was me with the "fake insignia". Also did the one for "fake squadron" (SqTail.tga)
  10. Mostly for Erik but for all of us too!

umm....for seeing the UFOs chasing them??
  11. check numerical sequence?? (that's all I can think off!)
  12. If looking for Terrain Objects (buildings in each terrain), of course the **_Types.ini lists the lod names. (but I can see I'm a bit late on the one, as Gerwin's lists cover them)
  13. Here's a trick -- one we've been using since 2004 (when the first extractor was issued by TK): create a "Extracted Cats" folder, like in the ***/***/Savedgames/ThirdWire folder. direct the extractor to dump the extracted files into there. That way, there's no risk of "damaging" the actual game install, and you can then COPY/PASTE the relevant file into the (objects) folder, and make the modifications there. And still have the original file as a backup.
