  1. P-3C "Orion" Remod Pak

    P-3C "Orion" Remod Pak                12/19/22
    -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a fairly heavy overhaul, plus numerous additions, to Florian's Lockheed P-3C "Orion" maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft. Please be advised, as the physical model has not been "finished" since it's 2012 release, it may still be considered an "advanced Beta".
This package, due to numerous changes (listed in the Change Log), is designed to REPLACE IN TOTAL the early 2011 kit. If you have that original repackaging mod, you CAN just drop all of this one directly over it, or delete the aircraft and decals folders and start fresh. Your Choice (tm). Either way SHOULD work with no issues. But always think 'safety first'.
The older, original skins have been completely revamped:
    USNGrey1
USNGrey2 *see notes about these 2*
Royal Norwegian Air Force (No.333 Squadron) original Dark Sea Grey, and NEW Lo-Viz
    The new skins are:
JMSDF -in both GullGrey/White and LoViz grey overall (see notes)
    RAAF -both #10 & #11 squadrons
    USN- VP-40 "Fighting Marlins" (GG/W)
All skins are in jpg format. All new decals are included, "almost" all with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. For those forces with paint scheme changes at specific years, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. There is also a huge amount of information in the "Notes" section. PLEASE read it!!!
    Happy Landings!

  2. P-2H "Neptune" Remod Pak

    P-2H "Neptune" Remod Pak                11/19/22
    -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a complete overhaul, plus numerous additions, to the P2V-7/P-2H Neptune package I released in 2011 (THAT long ago????!!!!). I was going over some things, and found numerous flaws and faults, and chose to fix them up.
This package, due to numerous changes (listed in the Change Log), is designed to replace in total the early 2011 kit. If you have that original repackaging mod, you CAN just drop all of this one directly over it, or delete the aircraft and decals folders and start fresh. Your Choice (tm). Either way will work with no issues.
    Skin sets NOW included are:
These 3 from the original 2011 pack--
VP-18 "Flying Phantoms", NAS Jacksonville as seen during the Cuban Missile Crisis
VP-65 "Tridents", NAS Point Magu, in the mid/late 1960s through the 1970s
VP-69 "Totems", NAS Whidbey Island, in the 1970s
    plus ...
    320 Squadron, RNNAS (now included)
    The new skins are:
    JMSDF (2,3,4 & 51 Kokutais)-squadron insginia are randomly applied
    RAAF (10 & 11 Squadrons) - early Seaplane Gray/White and late Gull Gray/White skins
    French Aeronavale - Flotilles 21/23(ish)
    USN --
VP-9 "Golden Eagles, NAS Barbers Point (Early Seaplane Gray/White)
VP-18 "Flying Phantoms" NAS Jacksonville, NAS Rossevelt Roads (Early SG/W)
Argentina -- Both original COAN skins NOW included!
The only country's skins NOT included are the RCAF/CF by 1977Frenchie; his set for the CP-122 which is good enough to stand on it's own :) .
All skins remain in their original bmp format. All new decals are included, "almost" all with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. For those forces with paint scheme changes at specific years, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active.  This can be seen on the Loading Screen, skin/squadron drop-down menu as shown below:
    VP-9 Golden Eagles (>1962) (before 1962)
    or
    VP-69 Totems (<1964)  (after 1964)
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.

  3. SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack

    SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack           9/28/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended =MUST= have SF2:V installed!!)-
This pack contains some mods to the stock 3rd Wire B-52D & the user made B-52F model "Stratofortress" as used by SAC during the 1950s through the 1980s.
There are actually 3 aircraft in this pack; due to "oddities" with some loadouts, I found this was easier to do:
    B-52D (57-64) nuclear strike
B-52D (64-83) conventional, with "Big Belly" mods
    B-52F (58-78) conventional & Nukes.
The F, while retaining is nuke abilities, is mostly for conventional iron bombing after 1965.
Almost all markings are decals, with very few things painted on. All serial numbers are historically correct for the models depectied. BUT the D cereals should be considered 'generic' in nature as they represent no particular unit. The F serials, OTH, and the nose arts, are also correct, but not 'per squadron/wing'. It should be noted, the F gets all serials for the 89 aircraft produced. These are updated version of the originals issued in 2009. The D model gets all new decals, made for this mod.
Decal randomization is true. Most skins remain in their 1stGen bmp format. New sounds, effects, pilot/gunner figures, weapons, and hangar & loading screens. Various effects are included for the nuclear weapons. The SF2 date switch is used for some skins, and also in the loadout ini with year-specific loadouts. These aircraft are equipped with an "optical" bombsight for you perverts that inisist on flying the Heavies <g>. In each aircraft's folder is an instructional jpg on "how to". There are also different loadouts for conventional or nuke, accessable through the games' mission editor.
An example of the skin listing, from the 52F:
    2nd BW >1964
    7th BW (3960th BW) <1964
the >1964 (less than or 64 and eariler) and <1964 (after 1964 ie: 65 start date). This should give the general idear.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! As always, =PLEASE= read the "Notes" section for various thoughts and musing on this mod. There might even be valuable data/information for you to find! ALL original readmes have been included, when discoverable.

  4. SF2 UH-1B Huey Slick & Hog Remod Pack

    SF2 UH-1B Huey Slick & Hog Remod Pack           9/14/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)-
This package contains remods of Pasko's 1stGen UH-1B helicopters, both the 'Slick' and 'Hog' gunships. These aircraft have been given unique name identifiers, as to not have the conflict with other mods of these same birds.
I've collected just about all the 1stGen skins I could find for these, and created all new decals for them. Where possible, and discoverable, any serial/BuNums associated with a particular unit have been marked with a star (*). All serials ARE historically correct for the models depicted. In the case of the Canadian Hueys, no "(*) star" is used as the 10 serials ARE the 100% historically correct ones. This mod depicts several models of the UH-1B that are visually "pretty close" to each other. In truth, their minor differences won't effect gameplay in any way, shape or form. These are the UH-1B, UH-1C and UH-1E. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins.
    UH-1B Slick ==
US Army; early and late skins (dark or lighter OD)
US Army Medevac: possibly representing 57th Medical Detachment
USMC : VM0-2 "Cherry Deuce" (used both Slicks & Hogs)
Canada: CF-118 3 skins covering their uses and from 1966 thru 1995 in their Search & Rescue and utility service.
    UH-1B/C/E Hog ==
US Army; early and late skins (dark or lighter OD)
    US Navy: HAL-3 Seawolves
    USMC: HML-167 "Warriors, VMO-6 "Tomcats",
The sF2 'date switch' is fully active, so watch for it. Also included are (finally) damage textures, a destroyed model, all weapons, sounds, pilot figures and so forth. The "275rocket" is a stock 3W item, and therefore not included. FM is relatively untouched (ie: "as is"), so be aware. I'm sure further refinements of the FM are needed.
On the aircraft selection drop-down menu, you'll see:
    UH-1B/C/E Huey "Slick" (P)
    UH-1B/C/E Huey "Hog" (P)
Obviously, the "P" stands for Pasko.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Also =PLEASE= read the "Notes" section for information about Nation assignment for the American birds. Where possible, ALL original readmes have been included.

  5. SF2 F-86H "Sabre Hog" Pack by Zur, Yakarov79 & Wrench

    SF2 F-86H "Sabre Hog" Pack by Zur, Yakarov79 & Wrench          8/29/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)-
The final culmination of a project that started 'way back in 2012 by Zur. Somewhere along the line, I recieved his max files and couldn't find anyone to finish the job. Fortunately for the SF community, Yakarov stepped up and took the challenge in the spring of this year (2022). That final result you see here!
We present to you the North American F-86H Sabre; the last of the Hot Rods!!!
You have a good selection of skins for various time frames in it's service life:
    USAF "Front Line" Units"
50th FBW, USAFE (1953-57) Hahn AB, Germany
    10th FBS
    81st FBS
    417th FBS
533rd FDS, 83rd FBW (56-58) Seymour Johnson AFB NC
A generic NMF skin to build other units from. It carries the TAC badge on the tail fin. The decal ini is easily edited.
As the squadron markings are decals, there is one set of NMF skins used by all.
    Air National Guard:
There are 2 versions of each of the following skins; one with "regular" markings presentation, the others with tail codes and Vietnam era serial presentations. The later VN style skin is as seen during the Pueblo Crisis when these ANG units were Federalized, and Based at Cannon AFB, NM from 5/68 through 12/68. All 4 skins are in SEA 3-tone camo.
    104th TFS, Maryland ANG
    138th TFS New York ANG
While national markings are 'painted on', all others are decals. All serial numbers are 100% historicley correct for the units shown, with only 1 exception -- for the 104th, I couldn't find the full 26, so the last 4 are marked with a (+) plus sign; consider these 'generic'. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. The SF2 date switch is active on pretty much all the skins. For those squadrons listed in the game's SquadronList ini, their displayed name has been activated by my "Fake SqTail decal" (patent pending)
To diferentiate =THIS= Sabre Hog from the other one (if you're able to obtain it), you'll see the following on the Aircraft selection drop-down listing:
    F-86H Sabre Hog (Y)
The (Y) is for Yakarov, as he finished off the model.
All other necessary parts are included; sounds, drop tanks (built into the LOD), pilot figure, hangar and loading screens. All weapons use stock 3W items.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!!

  6. SF2 C-130A Hercules (3w) UPgrade Pack

    SF2 C-130A Hercules (3w) UPgrade Pack                    8/29/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
This package contains various bits to upgrade the stock 1stGen 3rdWire C-130A "Hercules" to something a bit more then just eye candy. Although, it WILL improve the eye candy. Be advised, that the LODs for the aircraft are =NOT= included, so End Users (tm) will have to extract them (there are 5 lods) from the SF1, WoE or WoV main Object cats. See "Notes" below for their actual file names.
If at some point in the past, you have already extracted and imported the 3W Herk in your SF2 installs, be advised THIS mod uses a unique folder name identifer. You'd be well advised to use =this= one, as all the pathways have been written with the unique name in mind. AND as such the Game Engine (tm) will not overwrite a stock AI-only aircraft made player usable, and it will remain player flyable.
    Included skins are:
    "USAFSilver1" - stock NMF, a generic skin
    "USAFSEA2"    - a 3-tone VietNam era camo, representing 21st TAS
    "Desert"      - generic Desert camo
"TN"          - 118th AW, TN ANG (late light grey)
All skins remain in their original bmp format.
All National Markings are decals (stock). New decal sets were created using historically correct "A" model serial numbers. While correct, they should be considered 'generic' in nature, representing NO particular unit(s). Decal randomization is TRUE for all. The NMF and Desert use the same pool of 26 serials. The SEA camo uses 26 in the correct VN era style. I was unable to run down those serials for aircraft in the 21st TAS, so like the others, are generic in nature, but correct for the model and style presentation.
The SF2 date switch IS active for the SEA came (1967) and the TN ANG (1980). The desert and NMF are selectable via the loadout screen.
A full cockpit (albeit not quite a Herk pit), all necessary inis, sounds, etc are included. However, a 'Userlist.ini' is NOT. Exportation is TRUE, so expect to see them parked wearing various and sundry markings.
    When in game, you'll see:
    C-130A Hercules (TM)3W
On the aircraft selection drop-down menu. This will ID it as the stock aircraft, seperate from the (superb!) model done by Dels.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Also, the Notes section has more details on the changes.

  7. SF2 F-102A (v2k) ANG Skins & Decals Pack

    SF2 F-102A (v2k) ANG Skins & Decals Pack         8/2/2022
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)-
This package contains 3 new Air National Guard skins & decal sets for Veltro2k's F-102A Delta Dart. This package covers Darts used by the Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut ANGs.
On the skin/unit selection drop down menu, on the Loadout screen you'll see:
    146th FIS, PA ANG (61-75)
102nd FIS, NY ANG SEA Camo (72-75)
    118th FIS, CT ANG (66-71)
Almost all markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. ALL serial numbers are 100% historically accurate for each of the units depicted. Each unit has been supplied with 26 serial numbers (probably more than when actually in service). The SF2 "date switch" IS active.

  8. SF2 F-102A (v2k) 159th FIS Fl ANG Skin & Decal Pack

    SF2 F-102A (v2k) 159th FIS Fl ANG Skin & Decal Pack         7/14/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This package contains a replacement skin and decal set for Veltor2K's F-102A Delta Dagger. This skin represents the 159th Fighter Interceptor Squadron "Boxin' Gators" of the Florida Air National Guard from 1960 thru 1974. The original skin is found in the "Operation Tainted Cigar" campaign.
The remake of this skin was inspired by some screenshots Viggen posted in the CA SF2 Screenshots thread. Since the decaling was totally inaccurate, I took it upon myself to "make it correct".
26 all new, 100% historically accurate serial number decals were created, including the correct Air National Guard fuselage tag. Decal randomization is TRUE.
On the skin/unit selection drop down menu, on the Loadout screen you'll see:
    159th FIS FL ANG (60-74)
With luck, this change will not effect the OTC campaign data ini. If so, End Users (tm) may have to do a little text editing to correct the skin's folder name or displayed name in campaign data ini. I don't know enough about campaign structure to give any real advice.

This mod comes with 2 skins:
ET 6/4, French Armée de l'Air
No.103 Squadron "Elephants", Israeli Air Force (1956 start date)
Serial numbers are 100% historical, and decal randomization is TRUE. Be Advised, however, with less than 6 Level 2 decals (AdlA), randomization is sporatic, or not working. The IDFAF has 18 serials. Sounds for the engines and incidentals are also included.
    When in-game, you'll see:
    Nord 2501 Noratlas

  11. SF2 Convair TF-102 Delta Dagger Pack by Coyote Aerospace

SF2 Convair TF-102 Delta Dagger Pack by Coyote Aerospace         6/19/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This is the release of the Convair TF-102 Delta Dagger, aka "The Tub". This is the 2 seat trainer version of the F-102 interceptor. Like it's single seat sister, it is also fully combat capable, carrying the same missile and rocket armaments, as well as the MG-10 radar system.
There are several skins within for the 3 users of this aircraft
    USAF:
    ADC Grey
    SEA 3-tone (start 1967)
    Export Users:
    ADC Grey, Turkish Air Force
    SEA 3-Tone, Greek Air Force
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The USAF skins have 26 serial numbers, all historically correct for this model. That being said, each F-102 unit, either USAF, Air National Guard or AF Reserve, had at least 2 of these for training and pilot proficincy. No actual units are depicted, so while correct, consider the serials 'generic' in nature. I did, however, add the Air Defence Command patch to the tail of the Grey version. The 3 tone does not carry any distinctive markings.
The serials for the Turkish AF (11 aircraft) and Green Air Force (5) are 100% historically correct. The user list, and the SF2 "date switch" statements for the HAF & TuAF have them starting in 1968. The USAF SEA 3-Tone uses a 1967 start date.
All Weapons (missiles and unguided rockets) are included. These are station specific to the F/TF-102, and should cause no conflicts elsewhere.
On the aircraft selection drop down list, you'll see:
    TF-102A Delta Dagger (v2k)
This will differentiate this Tub for any others that may or may not exist.
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! For texture artists, the template is also included

  12. SF2 F-102A (v2k) 64th FIS Skin & Decal Pack

    SF2 F-102A (v2k) 64th FIS Skin & Decal Pack         7/4/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This package contains all 2 new skins for Veltor2K's F-102A Delta Dagger. They represent the 64th Fighter Interceptor Squadron "Scorpions" from 1956 thru 1969.
    Within this package you'll find:
ADC Grey (56-66) when the squadron was based at McChord AFB, WA, and when assigned to PACAF from Clark AFB, PI.
SEA 3 Tone (66-69) when based at Tan Shon Nut, RVN, Clark AFB and in South Korea during the Pueblo Crisis.
Almost all markings are decals, excepting the ADC Grey's tail badge. I experimented with a decal, it didn't look as good as it should have. So, going against my usual practice, it's painted on the fin. All 26 serial/buzz numbers are 100% historically accurate for this squadron, for -both- skins. The 3-tone SEA camo has the proper Tail Code assigned when the squadron was based in the Phillipines and Southeast Asia (Vietnam era), and correct serial presentation. Decal randomization is TRUE. As this unit is listed in the game's SquadronList.ini, their displayed name is activated via my (patent pending) fake "SqTail.tga", and will be visible on the Loadout Screen.
The SF2 "date switch" is only used on the SEA 3 tone skin with a 1965 start date.
Also included is a (slightly) upgraded AIM-4F Falcon missile, station specific coded for the F-102A.

  13. SF2 F-102A (v2k) Skin & Decal Remod Pack

    SF2 F-102A (v2k) Skin & Decal Remod Pack         6/19/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This package contains all new, corrected decals for Veltro2k's F-102A Delta Dagger. This mod package is designed to be applied to MigBuster's Upgraded Version available at the following URL:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/9446-f-102a-delta-dagger-veltro2k/
Several of the skins have also recieved replacement skin maps, and the changes are documented in the "Notes" below. These adjusted skins remain in bmp format. Repeat: this is upgrading =ONLY= the skins & replacing decals that came in that package. The units are:
    57th FIS (62-73)
    317th FIS, AkAC (56-69)
    176th FIS WI ANG (66-74)
    196th FIS CA ANG (65-74)
    431st FIS USAFE (58-64)
    460th FIS ADC (58-66)
    509th FIS SEA Camo (68<)
    and a NEW skin
509th FIS (>1968) in ADC grey, as used in PACAF & SEA before the application of the 3 tone camo.
The years presented in the above, will also be seen in the game's Loading Screen, on the Skin Selection Drop-Down Menu.
Most national insignia are still painted on. All serials & buzz numbers are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Each skin has 26 serial numbers. With few exceptions, =ALL= serials are historically correct for EACH squadron. If all could not be found, 'generic' serials and buzz numbers are used. These are identified by the star (*) symbol. If it does NOT have star, it is 100% correct. Any squadrons that are listed in the game's SquadronList.ini have had their displayed name activated via my (patent pending) fake "SqTail.tga", and will be visible on the Loadout Screen. Also, due to many having painted on insignia, a hidden "Insignia" decal is used to activate the displayed Nation Name.
The SF2 "date switch" is only used on 2 skins; the oldest (317th) with a '1' start date, and the later (509th camo) with a 1968 start date. Any others, which most of them DO fall in-between these two, End Users (tm) will have to select for themselves.

  14. SF2 F-102A (v2k) Greek Air Force Skin Pack

    SF2 F-102A (v2k) Greek Air Force Skin Pack                    6/19/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
Two new skins for Veltro's F-102A Delta Dart Interceptor. These represent the Greek Air Force versions from 1968 until their retirement in 1979.
    The skins are:
    ADC Grey
    SEA 3 Tone
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All 20 Serial numbers are 100% historically correct. The SF2 'date switch' is used to swap from the Grey to 3 Tone in 1974.
    Also included are:
Updated data ini with minor FM adjustements (a backup of the original is also provided for safety's sake)
Updated Loadout ini with F-102 specific weapons
The F-102 specific weapons themselves (just to be safe!)
Updated Userlist with Greece & Turkey added
    Damage Tgas (finally!)
Main ini (F-102A.ini) with the "v2k" tag added to the displayed name. This will differentiate this model from that by Razbam, for those that may have that payware version. This means that you'll see...
    F-102A Delta Dagger (V2K)
on the aircraft selection drop down on the main mission screen. A backup of this ini is also provided. The new ini included here is "clean", with no texture listings. When the game is started, it will automatically re-populate with YOUR skins.
This mod package is designed to be applied to MigBuster's Upgraded Version available at the following URL:

    Yak-25B "Brewer"
    Yak-25K "Flashlight"
    Yak-25M "Flashlight"
These incorporate a new FM, that is more more SF2 compliant, and solves a few problems lingering for the last 15 years or so. All hit boxes have been adjusted.
This package is Data inis =ONLY=, not complete aircraft. Backup copies of the originals are all included, as for the usual "just in case" sort of thing.

  18. SF2 Lockheed C-121G/R7V-1 Super Constellation Pack

    SF2 Lockheed C-121G/R7V-1 Super Constellation Pack       5/2/2020
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
    "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This package contains a new aircraft, with 4 skin/decal sets, the Lockheed C-121G of the USAF & R7V-1 of the US Navy. These represent the Super Constellation cargo/transport versions as used by both services. This mod is based of the RC/EC-121 by RussoUK
The 4 skins included use the SF2 "date switch" to activate when needed. Most markings are decals, with the exception of (more than a few) painted on markings. All serial/Bunums are 100% historically accurate, but I was unable to attach specific ones to their units. With only 50-odd aircraft ever built, this isn't really a problem. They ARE assigned to their actual US military services (Navy or Air Force). Decal randomization is TRUE. All skins are in jpg format. Sounds, pilot figures, etc are included. Each skin has their own individual Hangar Screen. A 'box art' style Loading Screen is also included. It should also be noted, these are NEW skins, by me, modified/adapted from the existing ones in the C-121/WV-2s previously released.
    Inside you'll find:
    USAF C-121G:
1501st Air Transport Group, (MATS) c.1954, NMF/White uppers, Travis AFB
    "MAC"  -unknown unit-, c.1966, NMF/W
    USN R7V-2/C-121J:
VR-1 "Starlifters" c.1954, NMF overall, NAS Patuxent River
VR-7 "Seahorses" c.1960, NMF/White uppers, NAS Moffat Field
When in game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu, you'll see:
    C-121G/R7V-1 Super Constellation (R)
This will differentiate it from any other military Constellations that may (or may not) be available. The "R" stands for RussoUK, the model maker. Please note, the "R7V-1" designation was changed to "C-121J" in 1962 under SecDef McNamara's overhaul of the military numbering conventions.

  19. SF2 Bell TH1-L Huey Remod Pack

    SF2 Bell TH1-L Huey Remod Pack                    4/30/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
This is an update/remod back of the TH1-L Huey trainer as used by Helicopter Training Squadron 18 (HT-18) "Vigilant Eagles" from 1969 thru 1998(ish). The original SF1 upload, from 2005, has recieved something of an overhaul, mostly to the skin, and now with the addition of 100% historical BuNum (serials) and Modex/pennant numbers.
Extensive research has allowed me to run down the full 45 aircraft production run, as used by both HT-8 and HT-18. All serials are 100% historically correct. when possible, they have been matched to their Modex/Pennant numbers. Those with the star (*) on the Number list are positives matches. Those without the star, could not be matched to a specific Modex.
This is the full aircraft, with all necessary parts included (sounds, pilots, etc). A new Hangar Screen was created, as well as damage tgas and the addition of a destroyed model. The data ini has had the hit boxes corrected. The FM itself remains untouched from it's original "as issued" state. Be advised of continuing issues with helo FMs in SF2. The Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), shift/0 (zero) opens the sliding cabin doors.
When in game, on the aircraft selection drop down you'll see:
    TH-1L Huey

This skin represents HC-1 "Angels" based at NAS Ream Field, CA in 1965. These were used as Search & Rescue in the San Diego area. The aircraft is finished in International Orange Overall. 18 BuNums (serials) and Modex/Pennant number decals are included. Decal randomization is TRUE.  The SF2 'date switch' =IS= active on this skin, and will automatically be selected for the US Navy in 1962(ish). This skin also has it's own Hangar Screen.

  21. SF2 Westland Whirlwind HAR Upgrade Pack

SF2 Westland Whirlwind HAR Upgrade Pack                    4/19/2021
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
**NOTE: this is for the British built versions -0NLY-!!**
This is major upgrade of the Westland Whirlwind (piston powered) as released by Strahi. Please be advised, if you have the original download, you will unfortunately have to delete it from your mods folder(s). THIS version is highly modified, with many additional items. If left as "drag & drop" over the original, there will be conflicts that might be unresolvable. Thus, the need for complete removal of the original. This has been approved by Strahi, to whom I extend great thanks!!
The following services/units are covered. The first listing is the name of the skin folder itself. The rest is the description you will see on the skin selection dropdown on the Loadout Screen:
    Royal Air Force:
    RAF1 - No.22 Sqdn, 55-62, overall yellow
    RAF2 - No.28 Sqdn, ?? date, Eurocamo*
    RAF3 - No.110 Sqdn, 1954, Kuala Lampur*
JHU - Joint Helicopter Unit, HMS Ocean, Suez, 1956
    Royal Navy:
RN - 848 NAS, DGNB overall, early 50s
    RN2 - Ship's Flight, HMS Protector, 55-65, Antarctic Patrol
    RN3 - 848 NAS, HMS Bulwark, 1960s
RN4 - 781 NAS, RNAS Yeovilton (Green Parrot)
Suez - 848 NAS, HMS Albion, Suez 56
    JRV:
YU - Soko Whirlwind, Yugoslavian Air Force, 1961

*= be advised, these units MAY have had the later, turbine power marks. It's also possible some of those listed above, while still having serving piston-powered Whirlwinds, would have also recieved turbine power aircraft.
The SF2 'date switch' is =NOT= used on any of the skins. I felt it would cause too many issues and confusions.
Many painted on insignia and service markings remain as such. This is due to the minimal amount of meshes used to build the aircraft. All new serial number decals have been made for all included versions (up to 26 each). As is to be expected, while all are correct for the aircraft & services depicted, they are 'generic' in nature. When a unit's or service's serials HAVE been found, you'll see the star (*) in the number list dropdown. Decal randomization is TRUE. When possible, the RAF & RN squadron badges are used at the "patch" for viewing on the Loadout Screen
On the aircraft selection drop down list, you'll see:
    Whirlwind HAR/HC (st)
The (st) is for Strahi, and will diferentiate this Whirlwind for any others that may or may not exist.

For those interested, the following services/units are covered:
    US Air Force:
41st Air Rescue Squadron, Hamilton AFB (early/mid 1950s)
    US Navy:
HU-1 "Pacific Fleet Angles" (c.1952, Korea)
    US Marines:

    US Army:
    6th Transportation Co. (H), (Korea)
    Generic Olive Drab overall
    Royal Canadian Navy:
    VH-21 (c.mid 1950s)
Many painted on insignia and service markings remain as such. This is due to the minimal amount of meshes used to build the aircraft. You will also be adding a new nation, "US ARMY", unless you have the Expanded Nations Mod by Menrva. Full instructions will be found in the INstall section below. If you do not wish to, you'll have to edit the texture set inis for the 2 Army skins back to "USAF". Game-wise, it won't matter either way.
On the aircraft selection drop down list, you'll see:
    H-19 Chickasaw (st)
The (st) is for Strahi, and will diferentiate this H-19 for any others that may or may not exist. In reality, it should read "H-19/HRS/HO4S", but what the hey! We all know what it is!
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!!

  23. SF2 Northrop F-89B Scorpion

    SF2 Northrop F-89B Scorpion                                 3/24/2021
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
    "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This is the release of the Northrop F-89B Scorpion All-Weather jet Interceptor. This mod recreates the first operational unit to recieve them in 1951. I'd started this mod in 2019, and it totaly slipped under the radar (so to speak). I now present it for it's historical useage. This mod makes use of the 89C lod, so there are small minor differences that will not inhibit gameplay in any way.
This package contains not only the aircraft, but 2 complete skin sets, for both active USAF, and later use by the Air National Guard. Units represented are:
84th FIS, 78th FIW, based at Hamilton AFB, near San Francisco, CA, 1951-54
    and
176th FIS, Wisconson Air National Guard, Truax Field, WI, 1955-1960
The SF2 'date switch' is used for when these aircraft left USAF for ANG service in 1955-ish.
With the exception of painted on squadron color markings (84th), all serial & Buzz Numbers are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. The 84th gets 18, and the 176th has 16. On the Number list, any marked with a star (*) are 100% historically accurate to that unit. Any unmarked, were either unable to be matched, or are 'fillers'. But all are for F-89Bs.
Also supplied are pilot figures, drop tanks, and air-to-air HVAR unguided rockets. These are the same as the v.3 pack, but completeness is my standard. Each skin also has it's own Hangar Screen, depicting that particular unit.

  24. SF2 NAA B-45B Tornado "Gunship" What-If by Veltro2k

    SF2 NAA B-45B Tornado "Gunship" What-If Pack by Veltro2k      3/27/2021
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
    "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This is the release of a "What If..." variant of the North American B-45B "Tornado" light jet bomber. This version is totally fictional, but the model itself is based on some modifications performed on a few "C" models (ie: the solid nose).
This aircraft represents those as if they had entered service with the 84th Bomb Squadron of the 47th Bomb Wing. Historically, all bomber versions only served with the 47th in it's 3 squadrons.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial numbers are spurious, but are taken from another aircraft (also a bomber) of the same year vintage. There are 12 serial/buzz numbers. Squadron color markings ARE historically correct for the 84th.
All necessary parts have been provided, with one caveat. The Mk.7 (61kt) nuclear bomb does =NOT= include the nuke explosion effect. As there are several around, you End Users (tm) may need to do some editing/renaming. I use the one from the Gunny Ordinance Pack. Other weapons include under-wing 5" HVAR rockets & rails, GP bombs, and torpedos. There are 4 20mm cannon in the solid nose. Unfortunately, due to needing a real gunsight (K-14), the bombsight won't/doesn't work. You may have to 'glide bomb' or best guess it.
When in-game, you can identify this aircraft by it's Displayed Name on the aircraft Drop Down Selector. You'll see:
    B-45B Tornado (WI)
The "WI" standing for "What If".

-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
    "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This is an update pack for the GMG's version of the Canadair CL-13B Sabre Mk.6, when in service with the German Air Force of the 1950s and 60s.
This package to be applied to the GAF Sabre Early and GAF Sabre Late mods, available at the following URLs:

    https://combatace.com/files/file/9459-canadair-cl-13b-mk6-sabre-late-sf2/
You =MUST= have these 2 mods installed first =BEFORE= applying this Update Pack. This pack consists mostly of inis, with a few other "interestering" bits thrown in for good measure. Many things have been changed/updated/messed with; most importantly they recieved the Fubar512 FM from the KAW Sabres. Plus many other changes, see the Change List below in the "Notes" section. Backups of the original data inis are included, so you don't have to. The loadout inis included are the most recent supplied by RavenClaw_007 on the CA Forums as of 2/23/2021.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE READ THEM!!! The Full Changelist is in the "Notes" section
