  1. SF2 F-86E Sabre, 144th FIS, Alaska ANG Skin Pack

SF2 F-86E Sabre, 144th FIS, Alaska ANG Skin Pack       6/5/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a complete revamp of a 1stGen Sabre skin by Dave "USAFMTL" Slavins from June, 2003. It is designed to be used on the SF2 KAW Sabres Pack, for the F-86E-10 available therein. The Sabres are to be found at the following URL:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/13604-sf2-korean-war-era-f-86-sabre-pak/
Also included is a new data ini, with updated hit and collision boxes, and some meshes now correctly named. Honestly, I'd never noticed they were 'way off' until Mue's LOD Viewer! Please note, that Crusader's fix-its have already been applied to THIS versions' data ini. A backup copy of the original (2013) data ini is supplied, so as to lessen End User (tm) workload, and provide a safety net 'just in case'.
This skin repesents the 144th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the Alaska Air National Guard from 1955 through 1957-ish, when their mission changed from Air Defense to Airlift.  The skin is in jpg format, and 26 all NEW decals have been created for it.  While the serial numbers are historically correct for the E model, they should beconsidered generic in nature as they don't actually repsent aircraft from this particular unit. Decal randomization is TRUE.
On the skin selection menu, on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
    144th FIS AK ANG (1954-58)
The SF2 "date switch" is NOT active on this skin. You'll have to select this skin for your flightmates by hand. However it is easily added by a simple text edit.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

    Happy Landings!

  2. SF2 F-89 Scorpion Remod Pack (Ver.3)

    SF2 Northrup F-89 Scorpion Remod Pack (V.3)                         5/25/2019
*For SF2, Any & All (Full 5 Merged Prefered)*
This is a repackaging, and MAJOR update of the F-89 Scorpion series of 1950s USAF All-Weather Interceptors. There have been many changes to the various inis, skins/decals, weapons, and whatnots. This is to be considered to be "Version 3", and hopefully the final time the F-89 gets a revamp (unless new models magically appear). This package builds on and improves from the v2 pack dated 3/3/2016. It also replaces that mod completely.
This package contains ALL the various marks of the Scorpion, including those later variants built from/modded of Monty's original C & D model LODs. There are several new skins, marked with the star (*) You have herein:
    F-89C:
    57th FIS, (Keflavik, Iceland)
74th FIS, 23rd FIW (Thule AFB, Greenland)
    F-89D:
75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1955)
    84th FIS (Hamilton AFB 1955-59)
    64th FIS (Alaska Air Command)
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1954)*
    F-89H:
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1956)*
75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1957)
    F-89J (Early):
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1958)*
    449th FIS (Ladd AFB, Alaska)
    F-89J (Late)
59th FIS, Goose Bay Labrador (1958-60)*
178th FIS "Happy Hooligans" ND ANG (1958-66)
    124th FIS, Iowa ANG (1962-69)*
Several versions also have a "Generic USAF Silver" skin, complete with decals. You may notice several squadrons used the Scorpion in several of it's various incarnations. This is historically correct.
Due to mesh/node mapping reasons, some marking remain painted on. A large number however, are decals. Serial numbers are 100% correct for the models depicted, but should be considered 'generic' as they don't represent actual aircraft with a given unit. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. Squadron's listed in the stock game's SquadronList.ini have their names activated via my 'fake' SqTail decal. Those will display their proper names on the Loadout Screen's Squadron Selection Window. When possible, the SF2 'date switch' has been used to turn on Air National Guard units as they became equipped with F-89s.
On such aircraft that have operating canopies (those that use the F-89D lod), the canopy works via the Standard Manual Animation Keystroke (tm), shift/0.
Included also are "Scorpion" specifc weapons (using the "StationSpecifieCode=" statements. Nuke explosion effects are included for the AIR-2 Genie rocket.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. See "Notes" section for full change log and other  important statements. The various other readmes, from all previous versions remain wherever they were originally residing.

  3. SF2 F-84F Thunderstreak by The Mirage Factory

SF2 F-84F Thunderstreak by The Mirage Factory            5/12/2019
    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
This is a rebuild for SF2 of The Mirage Factory's F-84F "Thunderstreak" (swept wing version). It goes again my grain to see such a well done aircraft, albeit originally built for SF/W0* 1st Gens, and many associated skin/decal set languish in obscurity simply due to age and the existence of one from 3rd Wire, albeit in a purchasable DLC. THIS one is free, and won't need any hoop-jumping to keep player flyable.
I've scavanged most of the existing skin sets, did various tweaking to make them a bit more SF2 ready. The aircraft FM has been slightly adjusted for SF2, a destroyed model attached, decals randomized, and when necessary, decals and new skins created from the revised TMF Templates by Pappychksix. The templates are included in a separate named folder in this download. For those skins with painted on national markings, my patent pending "fake insigina decal" trick was used to activate the Nation Name displayed. The same trick, with my patent pending "fake SqTail" decal, now activates any and all squadrons that are listed in the stock 3W Squadronlist.ini. Reminder: the Squadronlist ini ONLY has full units, not, for example, the various Staffels of the BLW T-streaks.
All new skin specific Hangar screens (SF2 style), and one of my famous "AvArt" style loading screens are included. All drop tanks, pilots, weapons and sounds needed are included (see Notes about camo tanks). The Canopy opens with the Standard Animaiton keystroke (shift/0 -shift/Zero).
In this pack you have many skins. Most use the 'SF2 date switch' to go from Natural Metal to the End Users (TM) national camoflague finishes. Please note, some skins are in their original "as issued" bitmap format. Some have been rebuilt, or new builds, in jpg format. The skins supplied are:
    = USAF:
    78th TFS, USAFE, RAF Bentwaters
168th FBS, Illinios Air National Guard (1961 Berlin Crisis)
4510th CCTS, Luke AFB (called 'USAF_Silver')
    = Belgian Air Force:
    3rd Squadron (NM 1956)
2nd Squadron (NATO Camo) -switches on in 1958
    = Netherlands KLU:
311 Sqn, KLU (Camo) -starts 1964, when F-84Fs were recieved
    = France:
EC 1/1 Corse (1955-1960) -folder called "AdA"; NM. see notes.
    EC 3/1 Argone (1956 Suez and post-Suez, 1957-ish)
    = West German BLW:
JaboG 31 2nd Sqn "Alma" (NM 1956) (new by me)
JaboG 31 2nd Sqn "Alma" Camo
    JaboG 32 3rd Sqn Camo
    JaboG 33 3rd Sqn Camo
    JaboG 34 "Allgäu" 1st Sqn
    JaboG 35
*Note all except II/JBG 31 NM 56 are Camo, and start in 1962. All BLW skins/decals, except where noted are from Soulfreaks GAF Thunderstreak Pack*
    = Greek Hellenic Air Force:
    348 Sqdn, HAF, NM (1958)
346 Sqdn, HAF, SEA Camo (1971)
*Note: in between the NM and SEA, many HAF T-streaks carried NATO 2-tone. That skin is not supplied. See Notes.*
Also included is a 'generic natural metal' for any other skinners that wish to fiddle with new skins. As many of the NATO 2-tone camo aircraft use all decals for markings, and the template is supplied, it should be easy to create other skins as needed. Even though the header reads "Full 5 Merged", it can be used in any SF2 mods folder.
When in game, on the aircraft selection drop down menu, you'll see:
    F-84F ThunderStreak (TMF)
This differentiates it from the stock 3rd Wire version.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Where possible, I've included the original readme for the various skin sets; the original TMF aircraft readme is in the main aircraft folder.

SF2 Atlas Impala Mk.II Early Skin "Fix It"        3/7/2019
    = For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is a "repair" package for the recently released ATlas Impala Mk.2 by Marcfighters.
This kit ONLY contains the skin folder "Early". The fuselage and wings have been repainted
and had the necessary panel lines redrawn to remove the painted on national markings. They
are now all decals, which are stock in all 3W games (merged).
The Entire Aircraft package, available below is also getting this patch applied, so if
you've downloaded the aircraft already, this fix-it kit for YOU.
If you haven't downloaded the aircraft, what's stopping you??? :)

  5. SF2 Atlas Impala Mk.II by Marcfighters V2

    = For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is the release of Marcfighters Atlas Impala Mk.2, single seat COIN/Attack jet as used by the South African Air Force.
This aircraft has/had languished for a considerable amount of time in that "hangar of forgotten & unfinished mods". I hope that this will correct that.
This mod represents the Atlas Impala MK2, single seat attack jets. The mod uses all stock 3W weapons (which may need further research/adjustments). 25 all new historically correct SAAF serial number decals are included, and Randomization is TRUE These decals are used for both included skins. This is the SAAF -ONLY-, non exported version. No user list was created; the aircraft is single nation only. There are 2 skins, and "Early" and "Late"; the late uses the SF2-date switch and starts in 1982
    When in-game, you'll see
    Atlas Impala MK.II (MB-326K SAAF)
on the aircraft drop down selection panel.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The Uploader takes NO credit for the aircraft itself, only for those edits and adjustment to get it more in compliance with the SF2 Environment (tm). See "Notes" section for full change log and other VERy important statements.
= Please Note: is models is released "AS IS". Anything that cannot be corrected/adjusted via ini edits will remain so for all time =
    Happy Landings!

** Important Note: if you install this to the Angola Mod, be advised that there exists an aircraft named Impala Mk.II. This should NOT conflict with it, but you may have some editing to do, as theirs is labeled "Stand In". It is not advised to just drop this one into that mod without further editing. **

    UPDATED: 3/7/2019
"Early" skin has been repainted to remove national markings. All have now been replaced with decals.

  8. SF2 VF-51 F-4B & F-4N Phantom (Mytai) Skin/Decal Pak

    SF2 VF-51 F-4B & F-4N Phantom (Mytai) Skin/Decal Pak                  7/14/2018
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V + DLC 23 =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B_67 which is stock in all merged installs.  You =MUST= also have DLC #23, the 3rd Wire F-4N Phantom.
This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. These skin represent VF-51 "Screaming Eagles" deployed to Southeast Asia during Vietnam War cruises. This skins are:
    F-4B_67:
VF-51 (1971) embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (NL code)
    VF-51 (1973) -same as above
    F-4N (DLC #23):
    VF-51 (1974) -same as above

The differences are various paint schemes, and include both CAG and line birds. All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's template. The skins are in jpg format. All decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused. The dates listed are for the deployment years. The SF2 "date switch" is =NOT= used on these skins.
When on the load out screen, on the skin selection widow, you'll see:
    F-4B_67:
    VF-51 Screaming Eagles 71 (Mytai)
    VF-51 Screaming Eagles 73 (Mytai)
    F-4N:
    VF-51 Screaming Eagles 74 (Mytai)
As VF-51 is a stock, listed squadron, this will help diferentiate these from 'generic' 3W skins. It also honors Mytai for his work in creating them so long ago.
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are "newish" data inis for both aircraft. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy.
Also included, within each skin folder, are all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This inlcudes photos and other text files.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Remember!! You must have DLC #23 to gain access to the F-4N!!

  9. SF2 Upgrade Pack For Western Transports, Airliners and AWACs by Veltro2K

SF2 Upgrade Pack For Western Transports, Airliners and AWACs by Veltro2K    6/1/2018
    = For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is a remod pack for Veltro2k's Western/NATO Transport, Airliner and AWAC aircraft. This package =ONLY= contains the data inis for the aircraft listed below. You will still need to locate the original aircraft.
It is highly suggested (read: REQUIRED) that you have SF2NA as part of your merged installs, as several of these reference the stock 3W Tu-95 Bear destroyed model. Some reference the stock 3W An-12, Tu-16 or B-52D (SF2V) destroyed models as well. Flight Models remain "as issued"; they've not been touched by me.
All New Data Inis Included in this pack are for:
    C-5A Galaxy
    C-17 Globemaster II
    C-141A Starlifter
    C-141B Starlifter
    G-222/C-27 Spartan
    E-767
    KC-767 (KC-46)
    Nimrod MR.1 (RAF ASW/Martime Patrol)
    Br.1150 Atlantique  (ASW/Martime Patrol)
    PB-1W Navy Fortress (USN 1940s/50s AEW - B-17)
    DC-8 *
    B-747  Pan Am"Jumbo Jet"
*The DC-8 mods are for the package by Daddyairplanes*

All aircraft have had their data inis reworked to correct, add, move, remove or generally "fix" all the hit boxes, relocate components (ie: fuel tanks, as best as possible inside the airframe) and in general clean up many things that simply escaped notice. The exception here is the Pan Am 747, which gets a partly repainted skin, with all new 100% accurate civil registration number decals (18) AND their matching "Clipper" names. Decal Randomization is "TRUE". The 747 and DC-8s also get an avionics upgrade (GM radar). Some sounds are included; you may have them alread, or not; but I like "to be sure".
Please note, some of these aircraft may NOT be in the SF2 downloads section; one will need to Search the SF1/Wo* (1stGen) downloads. Equally important, is to HAVE the aircraft installed =BEFORE= installing this Upgrade Pack. Kinda makes sense, right? <gr>
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

  12. SF2 WW2 ETO Beaufighter Tweeks & Adjustment Pack

For those not following the "Tips & Tweeks" Thread in the SF2 WW2 Forum, this is a package of data inis for the Bristol Beaufighter by Cocas Aircraft Factory
This package contains data inis with adjusted hitboxes and some armor upgrades, but a new flight model for ALL the ETO (northern European used) Bristol Beaufighters that Cocas and I did.
    These are:
    Mk.1 (early and late)
    NF MK.1 (early and late)
    Mk.1C (ITF)
    Mk.VI (early)
Mk. VIC, Mk.VIC,  Mk.VIF (early and lates)
TFX (early and late -with and withOUT thimble nose)
the roll rate is still a little higher than as described, but it's improved over the original release
    Instructions For Use:
Unzip, as always reccomended, to a temp folder or you desktop. Then, copy/paste the /Objects folder from the zip DIRECTLY over you /Objects folder in you WW2 ETO centric mods folder. Each of the above listed aircraft has, of course, their own folder within. Also provided is a backed up copy of the original data ini, for safety's sake.
At some point in time, the MTO and PTO theatre specific versions will be uploaded. Eventually, I'll be trying to update each individual aircraft's package. But there's a LOT of Beaus, and only so much time..
    Enjoy!

  13. WW2 Allied Bombing Range - Final-

    WW2 Allied Bombing Range - Final-                5/1/2018
    - For SF2, Any & All (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended)
**Please note, you should have SF2 for this terrain references many stock items from the Desert.cat.However, instructions are provided to use other terrain cats.***
This is a major overhaul of Several of the target areas on the Allied Bombing Range. This is designed =ONLY= for WW2 Allied usage. It can be used for practice by any and all of the Allied nations. There are a myriad of targets, both the old and newer ones, to hone you skills in level and dive bombing, strafing with guns and/or rockets (for those aircraft equipped). I intend THIS to be the Final Version.
It =WILL= replace all earlier versions of the Allied Bombing Range, so you'll need to backup, move/remove or delete any older version you may have.
Like the revamped modern range terrains, it has been retiled in an "IME" desert style with the addition of a water feature for anti-shipping. See "Change Log" in the Notes section for more details
As is reccomended, unzip this archive to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you -READ- this document (THIS readme), expecially the "To Install" section, after unzipping, but =BEFORE= installing.

As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading.
Please also read the Standard Usage Discalimer, as it's been changed slightly to reflect a change in my policy. It's listed at the bottom, in the Legal Statement Section, with the URL back to the CA post.

  14. SF2 A-4 Skyhawk "Southland Scooters" Skin/Decals Pack

    SF2 A-4 Skyhawk "Southland Scooters" Skin/Decals Pack              3/2/2018
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4C_65 & A-4F*
2 new skins for a couple of the stock 3W Skyhawks. These represent "local" A-4 units from
Southern California; my home turf! :) They are either Reserve Squadron (VA-305) or a Service,
    Support, Training Unit (VC-7).
Also included for the A-4F, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the
Mission tasking loadouts.  Several new parts are included that correct and add the missing outer
Sidewinder rails. Both aircraft get the Player operated manual canopy, and landing light.
    The skins included are for:
    A-4C_65:
VA-305 "Lobos" based at NAS (now JFB) Los Alamitos *-see notes-*
    A-4F:
VC-7 "Tallyhoers" (or Redtails) based at NAS Miramar

Skins are brand new, from Nyghtfall's templates, and are in jpg format. Most markings are
decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the tail fin & rudder (VC-7 and/or fuselage bands
(VA-305).  These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. All BuNums
are historiclly correct for aircraft used by both squardrons; unfortunately, they could not all
be matched to their corresponding Modex. On the Loadout screen's individual aircraft dropdown
listing, those marked with a star (*) are matched.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons on the A-4F,
as is correct for all 5-hardpointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through
various jiggery-pokery and at great expense. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and
Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later
models. With some luck, they will =NOT= interfere with any of the Skyhawks released by
Nyghtfall. If in doubt, back up your original data and loadout inis before installing.
The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0.
When on the Loadout screen, for skin/squadron selection, on the Dropdown menu you'll see
    A-4C_65:
VA-305 Lobos (NAS Los Alamitos 70/71)
    A-4F:
    VC-7 Redtails (NAS Miramar 1973-80)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them .... Also, DO give the Notes section a read as well, for enlightenments, illuminations, and
general ramblings. With MANY thanks to Nyghtfall for his invaluable assistance!!! :)

  15. SF2NA A-6E TRAM "Libyan Intruders"

    SF2NA A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, VA-34,VA-55,VA-85 Early Lo-Viz Skin/Decals Pack    2/15/2018
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E_79 (aka: TRAM)*
3 new skins for the 3W A-6E_79 Intruder that depict the 3 squadrons that participated in the
"Freedom of Navigation" exercises in the Gulf of Sidra during 1986, and subsequent strikes
against various Libyan targets (El Dorado Canyon).
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.  All serial (BuAerNums) are correct as they
are for the A-6E, but should be considered Generic (tm) in nature, not representing specific
aircraft in any particular squadron. In fact, all 3 skins use them as a 'pool' of decals.
The Default Start Date switch is used on this skin, so in 1983, you should see only these. The
skin maps are new; The aircraft is finished in the 2-tone Compass Ghost Grey over Medium Grey
scheme, with subdued markings (black and light grey). The skins are in jpg format.
    The aircraft are:
    VA-34 Blue Blasters, USS AMERICA
    VA-55 Warhorses, USS CORAL SEA
    VA-85 Black Falcons, USS SARATOGA
As these are 'stock' squadrons in the 3rd Wire listing, Level=1 decals are used to activate the
squadron name display. This should make it easy for campaign builders to use them in user-made
campaigns or single missions (like on Menrva's new Libyan terrain).
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I
use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need
to seek the "parts" on your own.
Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E_79.ini),
you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.
While specificly designed for the A-6E_79, this mod =should= be compatible with the A-6 Intruder
MegaPack by Homefries; the skins use unique squadron named folders and should not conflict or
interfere with it (even though said squadrons also exist in his pack, as Level=1 statments,
selectable from the Squadron Dropdown on the Loadout screen). Please note the "1983" start date
is an arbitrary year, based on my research as a "best guess".
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
    VA-34 Blue Blasters (2-Tone 1983)
    VA-55 Warhorses (2-Tone 1983)
    VA-85 Black Falcons (2-Tone 1983)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
    them ....

    VA-12 Flying Ubangis ,
as embarked aboard USS Shangri-la (CVA-38), in the North Atlantic & Mediterranean circa 1960/61
Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4E_67*
A new skin for the A-4E (67) Skyhawk. Also included, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the Mission tasking, loadouts, Player operated manual canopy, and the landing light. Several new parts are included that correct and add the missing outer Sidewinder rails.
    The skin included is for:
    VA-45, Det.1
embarked aboard USS INTREPID circa 1972-73, in the North Atlantic & Mediterranean as part of CVSG-56.
Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. Most markings are decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the rudder.  These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. There are 18 Modex numbers and serial numbers (BuNums). VA-45's BuNums are historiclly correct; unfortunately, they could not be matched to their corresponding Modex.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons, as is correct for all 5-hard-pointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through various magical transformations and incantations. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later models. A lightened and brightened gunsight tga is also included for those of us with weaker eyes.

Historically speaking, these A-4 squadrons (and/or detachments) were assigned to the Essex class carriers that had been convered to "CVS" or anti-submarine warfare carriers. The Skyhawks embarked were not only tasked with light strike, but Combat Air Patrols to protect the ship and the ASW assets.
The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0.

  19. SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-42 & VA-128 Skin/Decals Pack

    SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-42 & VA-128 Skin/Decals Pack              2/12/2018
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the stock 3W A-6A*
2 new skins for the 3W A-6A Intruder that depict VA-42 "Green Pawns" and VA-128 "Golden Intruders". Be advised that these are =NOT= combat squadrons, but the Fleet Replacement Squadrons, responsible for training pilots and bombardier/navigators for all Intruder squadrons. VA-42 recieved the very first Intruder in June, 1963. VA-128 recieved theirs in September, 1967. These 2 squadron represent the East Coast (VA-42, NAS Oceana) and West Coast (VA-128, NAS Whidbey Island) training units.
All markings are decals (excepting squadron color flash on tail fins), almost all made new for this mod (excepting the Pawn on VA-42, reused and modified from the original), and decal randomization is TRUE*.
All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical for the A-6A, but should be considered "generic" as they do not depict actual aircraft from this unit. BuNum decalss are the same ones as supplied with another recent upload. Just allow the "Overwrite?" when asked during installing.
The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in stock jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
    VA-42 Green Pawns (FRS-ATL)
    VA-128 Golden Intruders (FRS-PAC)
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts, nothing . You should have made it flyable already or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6A.ini) to stop reversion to AI-only, you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.

    SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-95 Skin/Decals Pack              2/6/2018
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6A*
A new skin for the 3W A-6A Intruder that depicts VA-95 "Green Lizards" during 1974-74 embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA during the Vietnam War.
Almost all markings are decals (excepting squadron color flash on tail fin), most made new for this mod, and decal randomization is TRUE*.  All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical for the A-6A, but should be considered "generic" as they do not depict actual aircraft from this unit. Also, this is the very first CAG skin I've ever done (so be kind).
The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in stock jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
    VA-95 Green Lizards (73-74)
As the Green Lizards are also a stock squadron, using this skin for campaigns should be a fairly easy edit.
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts, nothing . You should have made it flyable already or need to seek the "parts" on your own. = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Preferred) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E*
A new skin for the 3W A-6E Intruder that depicts VA-196 "Main Battery" during 1980 when embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (also possibly at Gonzo Station, but I haven't confirmed this).
Almost all markings are decals, most made new for this mod, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical in nature. Unfortunately, I could not match all to their Modex number. On the Number display dropdown, those marked with a star (*) are correctly matched. But all are aircraft that served in VA-196 at one time or another. The Default Start Date switch isused on this skin, so in 1980, you should see only this one. The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
    VA-196 Main Battery (1980)
Please note, NOTHING is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). * Designed for SF2:NA, but can be used in any install (full 5 merged) that has access to the A-6E TRAM Intruder (aka: A-6E_79) *
This package contains 1 new skin in lo-viz TPS for the A-6E TRAM Intruder, that comes with SF2:NA. This package represents:
VA-176 "Thunderbolts" embarked aboard USS INDEPENDENCE with the 6th Fleet (Med)
The skin maps are in jpg format. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". 25 new Modex and serial numbers (BuNums) have been created for this mod. BuNums, while correct for the A-6E, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they do not represent any specific aircraft within any given squadron. All markings are decals. However, it should be noted nothing to make this AI plane flyable is included. Other mods provide the necessary instructions and "parts".

    = For SF2 (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended) =
*Note: you =MUST= have, as stated above have, at minimum, a Full-4 merged install, as this mod makes use of many stock items, most importantly, the cockpit from the F-100 Super Sabre.*
The is the release of a new "What If..." aircraft for US Navy, the F2J-1B Super Fury. This is a 2 seat version of the F2J-1 released recently in the "F2J Super Fury What If Pack. There are 2 complete skin & decal sets in this package, representing aircraft in Fleet Service, and those in later service with Training squadrons:
    USN Grey/White:
VF-53 "Iron Angles" (at NAS Alameda, and aboard USS RANGER, WESPAC)
    USN Overall White/Orange
VT-9 "Tigers" (as based at NAS Meridian)

    SF2 F-4B Phantom (Mytai) CVW-9 Skin/Decal Pak                  12/24/2017
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B & F-4B_67, which is stock in all merged installs, excepting SF2:I (well, actually it's probably there as well!). The 1968 VF-92 & 96 skins are particularly designed for use in SF2:V, as they represent the squadrons during one of their Southeast Asia cruises*
This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. This skins are:
    F-4B:
VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1964) embarked aboard USS RANGER
    F-4B_67:
    VF-92 Silverkings (1968)
VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1968), both embarked aboard USS ENTERPRISE during the Vietnam War
All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's excellent template. The skins are in jpg format. Almost all decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused, with some modifications on the Modex number decals.
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are the data and loadout inis for both aircraft, with some small changes in the loadouts. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy.
Also included, is all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This inlcudes photos and other text files.

    = For SF2 (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended) =
*Note: you =MUST= have, as stated above have, at minimum, a Full-4 merged install, as this mod
makes use of many stock items, most importantly, various cockpits from the F-105 Thunderchief
from SF2V/E.  Therefore, it's =vitally= important that your game version(s) have access to these
cockpits. Many decals used herein also reference the stock 3W F-100s. Make sure you have them as
    well!!*
The is the release of a new "What If..." aircraft for USAF and Export users, the F-100G and F-
100H Super Sabre. Like the F2J Super Fury,  these are expansions of the F-100 series, adding more
    capabilites for air-to-air and air-to-ground.
This package includes both aircraft, with skins for various Export customers. It should be noted
that each skin has a set date to "turn on", using the SF2 default start date switch.
The package is broken down into...
    = F-100G, single seater:
    USAF
NMF, 417th TFS, USAFE (Hahn AFB)

    Japan
    NMF, 10 Hikotai
The JASDF skins (F-100G & H) include several other squadron badges, for those wishing to switch
or expand that air force. Those from the G should also work on the H, and vice versa, with a
    little ini editing.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Weapons used are all stock 3W items.
Skins are in jpg format, and damage textures are DDS. All other parts (pilots, seats) are
supplied. Each skin has it own specific hangar screen. With the fact all markings are decals,
other users can be created quite easily.
The Standard Animation Keystrokes (tm) is used for the Caonpy (Shift/0).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
    them.
    Happy Landings!
