  1. Is it possible to fly up to Sunderland?...lol I would love to open fire on a Mackam!
  2. No-One should have been an 'Unknown Pilot' They were all too brave to be unknown!
  3. Thanks Tonyo, yes keeping a close watch on it! Solent eh?... Know it quite well, was Born in Gosport. Test Pilot..thanks for that link..looks similar to our native Chub (but with a 'horneyhead')
  4. I don't know who to feel more sorry for..... my campaign pilot?...or the unfortunate enemy pilot, who leapt from his burning machine, and would have almost certainly come to grief on my spinning propeller! All happened too fast for a screenie, but I imagine it might well have occured in history at some point!
  5. I am a Fighter Pilot!...Not going to let a little thing like a hook stop me!..ouch.. MAMMA!!
  6. What on Earth is a 'HorneyHead Chub Testpilot?
  7. I agree.... I certainly will donate to our generous hosts!
  8. Well, sort of. We have an authority called the Environment Agency, who charge us anglers £26 each a year to look after our waterways, and then Clubs / Syndicates who stock their own waters with Fish. The EA are very cautious about disease etc, so it can be a headache to stock fish.... the Rivers are generally left to their own devices as per Fish Stocks, but the River Tyne (my local river) was, 15 yrs ago, a danger to swim in because of filthy pollution...and now it is probably the Best Salmon River in England...So, they are doing a good job. Carp Fishing up in the North East is a bit scant, as this is mainly a Trout / Salmon area...but I am a member of a good club, so the future looks bright. But, I have got to come over to the States, and experience some of the Fishing you have!
  9. Welcome to the twenty minuters! Did you really think that the reason we won, was because we had it easier?
  10. I guess I shouldn't.. lau...   ..... Now come on Widowmaker!
  11. So everyone is happy!.... Good show! Nothing against SimHQ actually!.. I am a member, but just don't visit often
  12. Bullethead... You really must stop this...I am desperate to hook something (apart from me!)...and those Buffalo's sound great!!..... Just found this on Google, described as a Buffalo..if that's it, it could almost be described as an American Carp...very similar!! (Thankfully, Bow-Hunting for fish is strictly banned in the UK.... I can't see why anyone would find that a sport personally...All our Big Carp in the UK are known by name!..and are looked after by the Anglers like they were made of gold...anyone trying to hunt one with a bow, would probably get beaten to death by enraged Bivvy Dwellers!!)
  13. I can answer the first question. Yes, unfortunately one of the limitations of CFS3 (and therefore OFF) is that at present, your wingmen all have the same skin as you. The devs have said that they may look into this in the future, but it is a MAJOR undertaking...so don't hold your breath! Hope that clears that one up.... Happy Flying
  14. Hi All Perhaps it may be an idea (in the hope of preventing future toe-treading) that we post information about historical aircraft we are skinning. The reason I bring this up, is that Sandbagger is working on some British Aircraft, but we have no proper info about what he is working on. This of course, is not a problem, unless someone else happens to be working on the same aircraft, and we have the situation that two versions get uploaded, and we end up with a further situation of people arguing the toss about which is more accurate/better than..... I am sure you see where I am going with this?? Perhaps, this will never be a problem, and everyone will be very happy (I for one don't care at all, if someone is doing the same aircraft as me, and happily accept it will almost certainly be a better rendition than mine.... But this may not be how everyone else feels) Perhaps a little info about what you are working on, so other's are aware, will prevent a problem later on? An ounce of prevention, is better than a pound of cure!!
  15. Hi Guys, Am working on this Pfaltz...good practise for doing lines (which have always been a problem for me) Looks to me like it has Lozenge Wings...but can't find any more info about her Will see how it goes
  16. I REALLY like this new gunsmoke!...It has saved my ass on a couple of occasions, when I have been shot at from behind! Thank you very much!
  17. All kills count! I wonder if anyone can make a grappling hook, as was attempted in the early part of the war
  18. Just for you Rooster! This is my best friend Paul with a Belgian Carp
  19. I voted Ok too..... Though the Ground gunners are a little 'too' accurate (imho) but I would live with that
  20. Unless you already are of course!
  21. hahaha... I want it!..post it up there Rooster!
  22. Great Idea!...What is it about this Sim, that brings out the Innovator in us all???
  23. Yes, I am a Si too! That's a good point!... I might ask Stumpy very nicely if He will make a Snipe!!
  24. Remember you guys, if you are entering the Skinning comp..I beleive you need to design your OWN skin? (just thought I'd mention it) (Brilliant Skin though matey!)
