The thing that amazed me about the M1 in the Gulf was the mobility kills on it (OK they were probably recovered & put back into action later) with rpgs etc.. It seems to have been quite vulnerable through the sideskirts.

SF P1 came out considerably before WOV, set with more modern aircraft & didn't have countermeasures enabled. There are lots of things that TK had obviously allowed for in the future in his original game engine design but hadn't then enabled support for (still true today e.g. brake 'chutes). Given TK's background I think that it's highly likely that he knew from scratch that countermeasures were very rare in Vietnam. -

In Vietnam virtually no aircraft had countermeasures. It's very easy to add them if you want with a bit of .ini editing. Use the search, Luke! -

You extract the file(s) from the .rar, .zip etc. if you look in the WOV>Objects>Aircraft folder you should see lots of folders for different aircraft - place your new 1 in that folder too. please also check out the knowledge base at http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showforum=99
