You just validated my point, because he wasn't thinking, now this is going to get shot all over the news and this guys is going to be the new FAA bad boy. He was just being a good father, showing his son what he was did for a living. Now because the media gets ahold of it he is already tried and found guilty. With the pilots that over flew their desitnation because they were sleeping, the crash in Buffalo with the tired and inexperinced pilots, then we had a light plane hit that chopper over the Hudson with the controller chatting it up with is lady friend and not paying attention. Timing is everything. That is my point. This guy ruined that kind of stuff by pulling a stunt like that. Maybe after the FAA, airline industry etc had been off the radar scope for some time then no one would of cared but nope the media are always eager beavers to get another chance to make the aviation industry look like a bunch of boobs.

I worked a B-52 and a C-130 when I was 15 at Wurtsmith AFB. I see what the controller was doing but his timing was terrible. Common sense would of been a good player in this case. Not after the news has been looking for any excuse to make the FAA and aviation look unsafe again.

With all the negative press the ATC has been getting this was a dumb dumb thing to do. Period. This guy should of known better than to pull soemthing like this when the aviation safety is under the microscope. He chose the wrong time to do it so of course there is be a knee jerk reaction to all this. I can't help but not feel sorry for this guy. It was dumb.

I do not know the procedure. My point for example is FC and I worked on the Eagles and re released them how many times? Then this bump mapping came out and he was thinking about doing them again. I talked some sense into him and we agreed that for example the new Sabres and C model Vipers would have it. Old Diego is going to apply it to his Cobra. So its a good thing it can be done (even though I am not jizzing my jeans over it).

I am not excited about this bump mapping at all. Does nothing for me. I waived off erikgen on the bump mapping for the Voodoo because its seem silly to redo the models again just to get bump mapping. I think the new models should have it though. With all the other projects people are working on and trying to get out, stopping to do a model again to add this is just silly. Just my 2 cents. Ok Spinners, you starting to cross the line when you are putting Navy marking on a USAF aircraft. just a joke.

I see how it sets it up, but not what I am looking for. I want to be able to pick and choose aircraft I want in it. This would take a ton of work to get it right and I would have to make mods sets just to get it to work. I guess I will just move out as needed.

None of those, the flight started in New York and it was its last flight to Heathrow. They talked to passengers and they talked to a group of people who would always wait for the Concorde to take pictures. The pilot who flew it had the most time ever in one.

File mover program, where I can set it to remove planes from my aircraft folder and put them in another folder for later use. So I can set maybe certain aircraft I want to have available at any given time and when I start the sim. Am I making any sense here? Does anyone have the skills?

I'm looking for a DVD that came out in 2004 or 2005 time frame about the Concorde. It was narrated by a female and gave a brief history of it but focsed on its final flight to New York and the passenger experience. What was the name of it? Where can I find it? Been looking for this all afternoon.

But do they have BBQ? I guess I contributed to the over population with my 4 kids. It was going to be 3 but we got the 2 for one sale that day. Thats what happens when ones wife is gone on a remote tour for a year.
