  1. Got to love finance. But its good they did catch it because then you would of owed them!
  2. The C-5M's are great but they aren't using any high time C-5's for the conversion. Which all the ones at my unit are. Really high time.
  3. http://tv.msn.com/tv...87915&GT1=28103 Great actor.
  4. Right on!
  5. The C-17 is more relaible, much more relaible. We have some of the oldest C-5's in the fleet. Maintaining them is a utter nightmare. They are always broke. So I am very very glad we are getting them.
  6. http://www.daytondailynews.com/business/wright-pattersons-c-5-cargo-planes-to-be-replaced-by-c-17s-596440.html?cxtype=ynews_rss WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The Air Force plans to retire the aging, massive C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft assigned to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and replace them with newer C-17 cargo transport planes sometime between Oct. 1, 2010, and Sept. 30, 2012. The 10 C-5s are to be replaced with eight C-17s, the Air Force said Friday, March 12. Maj. Cynthia Harris, a spokeswoman, said she did not have more precise dates for when the replacements will take place. The 445th Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit, flies the planes several times a week from Wright-Patterson to carry munitions, weapons, airmen’s belongings and other cargo from the United States to international destinations in support of the global war on terror. Reservists also often fly the planes in the Dayton area during pilot training runs. The Air Force has seen rapidly increasing costs for modernizing its more than 100 C-5 planes system-wide, including replacing or overhauling their engines and navigation systems. The oldest C-5s date to between 1969 and 1980. The C-17s date to the 1980s and 1990s. The noisy C-5s are among the largest aircraft in the world. Their massive cargo interiors can carry up to 270,000 pounds of cargo, including tanks and helicopters. I will be glad to get those C-17's too. Not a moment too soon.
  7. Well let me tell you all this. This terrain is awesome if you don't have SF2 this is a reason to get it. He has so many easter eggs in it, you will want to just fly around looking for them.

View File Updated Default SF2 Terrain by Piecemeal V 1.2 UPDATED DEFAULT SF2 DESERT TERRAIN Ver. 1.2 SF2 has always been my favourite of all the platforms; and after downloading and using the various terrain mods for SF2E and SF2V with hungry anticipation I decided to HEAVILY modify the stock Desert terrain with more than enough of eye candy. DESCRIPTION: Without giving too much away, the geographical story is now as follows: *As well as Dhimar amd Paran, I've added Sharnak from baffmeister's Desert 2 terrain (my inspiration for this), now a colony which is known as the British Protectorate of Sharnak. RAF squadrons are permanently based there. A couple of other bases, border posts and the like have also been added from Desert 2 *I always thought that D9 and D10 airfields were always a little too close to the border. They've now been moved to the Dhimari 'wastelands' which you'll see on the centre left side of the enclosed planning map *About ten SAM sites have been added to various locations on Dhimar and the amount of SAM sites across Paran has been hugely increased, the biggest increase being Paran's capital city of Kurzah; which in SAM site and Flak battery terms is now more like Hanoi during the Vietnam War. *Ships, cranes, oil tanks, warehouses and the like have been added to ports on both sides. Now the capital cities of Muthala and Kurzah, have extensive docklands. Other coastal towns have at least one docking area for shipping. *(15TH AUG 2010): Inspired by JSF Aggie's SF2 Range terrain, all airfields on both sides have been extensively facelifted and given a new lease of life by re-populating them with huge amounts of groundobjects, both new and old. They now look a lot more like real life airfields instead of that deserted 'Chernobyl International Airport' look in the default airfields. All airfields have also been re-catagorised into two different groups; 'Red' and 'Blue'. For example, a Dhimari DESERT_AIRFIELD4 will now be 'BLUE_AIRFIELD4' and a Parani one will now be 'RED_AIRFIELD4'. New trucks have been added as default groundobjects so they'll have to be downloaded elsewhere on the site (see 'Installation' for details). ---------------------------------- INSTALLATION (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): Simply unzip the FILE and put the enclosed 'DESERT3' folder into your Terrain folder. Important Note: If you don't already have these, you should download them from the SF1 downloads section, otherwise they won't show up: *SAMs & Vehicles Pack with Desert Skins by Pasko. *Soviet Transport Pack by Kesselbrut. *M109A6 Paladin by rebel ryder. *'Camiones Argentinos' truck models by Banidos Team & Suicidal (the default 'USTruck' models have been totally replaced by these, so downloading these trucks is definitely a MUST or there'll be no trucks anywhere in Dhimar!!) 10. There is alot of things the Mirage Factory was working on that have shot in the ass since the death of bpao. We just revived the F-14 project so give us some time on that. I will see if I can revive the C/D Hornet projects from my end.
  11. Nothing special....
  12. The Spearhead squadron
  13. We seem to get them here. I have my very own stalker who seems to think I actually give a rats ass that he comes in, insults me and gets banned. I am sure he jerks himself off every time he does that....and I still don't care! You should of seen the PM exchange we had last night. The guy is truly sick. I am glad I carry my P225 everywhere I go. This guy is so sick I think he would drive hundred of miles just to do me some harm. He hates me that bad. He said we could be friends if I admitted I'm an asshole. So I told him I know I am an asshole and so do many people here at CA. He also said this isn't my site and that I am not allowed to have any input other than for comments on the sims itself. If you all want I can post this all here. It reads like a book for the mentally insane.
  14. Glad you got it fixed.
  15. WHATSSSSSSSSSS UUUUUPPPPPPPPPPP!!!
  16. Well my method above is the simplest form of doing that in my opinion. Not saying mine is the gospel because it is not. That is how I do it and have done with little effort. Your mileage may vary. As far as ini's go, yes some have changed between patches so using old ones might not work.
  17. I couldn't find a way. Thats weird it did that.
  18. Its all good OVS, that nutter is gone.
  19. You didn't miss much. Some nutjob had a melt down over this thread but they are gone now.
  20. ATI, always a problem with this series. I wish I knew how to help you further my friend. A little OT though, how have you been, you were gone for a bit.
  21. Love Ant's Euro F-4C's
  22. Use latest drivers. It fixed my problem I was having with that as well.
  23. Oh damn that's funny!
  24. I am doing it tonight. Why haven't you? A few people lost some stuff in the last few days and one had a close call. Take the time and back up your stuff. The only thing you have to lose is your files and hard work.
  25. Ok this is easy 1. Install SF2:V to a folder other than your program folder. 2. Once installed, and patch to May 09, rename the exe to May09Patch. Run once. In your saved games folder, a mod folder called May09Patch will be made. Install mods as you need to. 3. Make a new install of SF2:V to your programs folder. Patch to Feb201, rename the exe to Feb10patch. Run once. In your saved games folder, a mod folder called Feb10Patch will be made. Install mods as you need to. That is all you need and that is how I have NF4+ installed at a Jun 09 patch level.
