All he was, was a numbers cruncher, pure and simple. He didn't care how he got the numbers (or lives that it took to get the numbers) as long as he got them. I recall on my DVD about the F-105 , he announced to the world what SAM site were going to hit in retaliation for it shooting down an F-4. So the NVA moved the SAM site, put close to a 1000 AAA sites near painted telephone poles. Recon overflights saw this, gave the brass the info, but since McNamara told the world we were going to do that, he didn't cancel the strike. He wanted to save face. Instead 4 Thuds went down that day. Nothing he can say ever will justify his uselessness as a SECDEF. He got a lot of guys killed because of his arrogance.

Until I can get someone to make some Japanese weapons you will have to live with the US ones. We are still tweaking the loadouts though. For example the F-2 is not wired for AMRAAM's so that is going to disappear. We will have though correctly colored drop tanks though. Stay tuned.

Still have things to do to it but its another "sweet, brought from the dead" aircraft thanks to Dels. The team still has to make default loadouts, hangar/loading screens and some other stuff but expect it soon. Enjoy the pics.

Go into your Tornado aircraft folder and look for the tornado_data.ini file (your data file may be named slightly different). Open that file up using Notepad or something similar. Look for the [LeftWing] entry, and add this line just above the VariableGeometry=TRUE line: SystemName[xxx]=SidewinderStationLeft Where xxx represents the next number in sequence. Do the same for the [RightWing] entry, except the line reads SystemName[xxx]=SidewinderStationRight This adds a spot on each wing for Sidewinders. Now, go further down in the data.ini and look for the // Weapon Stations line. Make sure the StationID= lines are the next numbers in sequence. Also, make sure the StationGroupID= lines match with each other and are not duplicated, otherwise, you will get loadout problems. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, do some research into 'weapon loadout' in the various SFP1/WOE/WOV forums that exist around the internet. After that, save the file and you should be able to duplicate what you see in the screenshot. Just make sure you always load 4 missiles or none at all...if you load 2, you'll see the missiles buried in the middle of the pylon...which won't make sense.

But it wont, not even close to the F. I got a cannon armed F, called Project Gunval. That is what all you would have. Huge difference between the 2. Not worth modifying something that doesn't even remotely reflect the real thing. Do some reading a Baughers site. You will see what I mean.

Wrench has posted a ton of stickies on how to change the loadout.inis to work with the weapons pack. In fact look at the very top post in the forum its tells you all you need to know.
