Right click on the executable and set it to run in Windows 98 mode. Then it will work.

Most SF add ons will work in WOV. Even them some will work with a little twaeaking. SF and WOV use the same engine to play. So I have the F-111's we did in it, all of Armourdaves F-105D,F and G's in it as they are better than the default ones. At Deuces site there are much better terrain tiles to use for WOV. Use the stickies we have here made by howling also SImHq SF/WOV forum has loads of info and also www.column5.us has soem great stuff as well.

Mod complete! A few surpises in it as well. Front decal is a real piece of work I must say. I made a 512x512 tga then added my rescue placards with a big space and then the insignia. The space in the middle I used the number decal, which is a sep decal. So there is two decals overlapping each other thus getting around the more than 3 or 4 decal rule.

Did you take the desert.cat file and copy it, then drop into the terrain and downloaded. Once you drop them in there rename them to the name of the terrian. AE needs a copy of the desert.cat file (found in the desert terrain folder) droppws in it and renamed to AE.cat

Sounds like you have a video card issue and or missing files.

Did you installe everything? Sounds, effects the works?
