Does anyone have TargetArea coordinates to place an aircraft carrier on the GermanyCE map? I'm looking for something like this: [TargetArea074] Name=Echo Station Position=700000,700000 Radius=5657 ActiveYear=0 Location=3 Alignment=FRIENDLY CarrierStation=TRUE This is from the Desert map. I'm trying to fly off a carrier in some of the WoE campaigns. TIA, Geary

Need TargetArea Data for Germany Map
Geary replied to Geary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
Thanks, Gepard, those coordinates work fine. I now have USN planes flying off carriers in the Baltic Sea in campaigns. I don't suppose you also have coordinates for the Israel map?? -

Windows 7 Weapon Editor Trouble
Geary replied to tacoscent's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
tacoscent, Try running the weapons editor while it's still zipped. It works for me that way. -
"IMPORTANT NOTICE This patch updates the airfield names from the generic D1, D2 and so on to be specific place names. This will break you campaign files!!! Changing them to fix it is a simple matter of find-and-replace-all in notepad, however. " Centurion-1, Do you have a list of what each airfield was renamed to? For instance, D1 changed to Al Akbar, etc. This would help tremendously in changing campaign file. Thanks for the beautiful work. Geary

I may remember this wrong, but I think in one of the Knowledge Bases there is a post with a link to a type of converter. Sorry I don't remember better. -

Romflyer, I ran through all the tutorials with in Windows. As you know the Shoot program is predicated on the Windows voice recognition program. Shoot works haphazardly for me. It seems to ignore about 75% of the commands. It may only be my imagination but I swear I can hear my wingmen chuckling at my hysterical screaming over the radio as they watch me get my tail ignited and ignore my commands. If it's working for you on a 64-bit machine, maybe I should give it another try. -

USAF A-7A Corsair II and F-8A Crusader 'Fictional Circa 1963' Skins for TW A-7A and F-8C AC. These are separate aircraft that use the ThirdWire SF2 A-7A and F-8C lods and cockpit/avionics and various other files. This file contains the relevant .ini files to convert them to USAF aircraft Circa 1963. The loadout.ini calls for the AIM-4G. You will have to obtain it from whichever weapons packs here at Combat Ace contains it. They were built from a SF2 5+2 merged install and use stock decals and other stock references. They are in .jpg format for SF2. INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the A-7A_AF and F-8A_AF folders into your aircraft folder. Choose the desired skin in the loadout section. Fly. I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first. If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy. Thanks to Spinners for the inspiration for these skins and to all who are helping me learn to skin by direct involvement and/or by inspiration. If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error. Geary -
