I did not take these. I received a Powerpoint presentation via e-mail and thought I would share the picture here. The credit for the shots goes to the individual at the bottom of the pics. Hope you enjoy these shots from the 2007 Russian airshow. At least that is what the powerpoint said. I don't know if all the pics are from the 2007 Russian airshow as the powerpoint presentation said (as I have seen some before I think) but, there are some amazing aircraft and shots. The first slide states: Located on the shoreline of Galendzhik lake, some three hours drive from downtown Moscow, Zhukovsky Airport, once a secret test airport, is the perfect location to host the Russian Air Show: the reason is that flying boats are a major concern for Russians designers, so a large mass of water to display their impressive performances was considered a must. This is a wildlife show. Not only is this a chance to behold the extremely refined stage of Russian aircraft design, but also to watch live and much closer than you could ever do in the west, since European safety regulations concerning flight displays over civilian audiences do not apply in Russia. So get ready for the noise and the blast, and be welcome to Zhukovsky for the 2007 Russian Industry Air Show.

For a March release this is a big money maker$$$$$$$$$$$ In 3 weeks it has made 161 million. barely got beat by the number 1 movie TMNT. If you haven't seen it, SEE IT

I understand that. my point was that in another time and a differnet geopolitical climate would all same people be so in to it. I think the nswer is a sound NO.

We have 2 monitors running at work 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We started off with 2 20" Viewsonics. 1 blew out about a year ago and we replaced it with a samsung 20". Currently we have a viewsonic with 2 years and a samsung with 1 year. i replaced the viewsonic with the samsung becasue of the quality/dollar amount of the unit. It works great.

Does anyone know when any new sims are coming out and when?

Are there any good tank sims out? I remember the armor fist series but, haven't seen any lately. I remember some old abrams ones back in my 386/486 days as well.

Hamachi? who? what?

OK, I know we have all seen 300 by now. The question is "anyone going to see The Shooter?" I am not a mark wahlberg fan but, there is nothing else out to see.

In the FA days squadrons were all the rage. An easy way to organize people to fly with and against. What happened? I still can't get WOE to work in MP. I setup up hyperlobby but it only has WOV not WOE. Any help is appreciated. Why no squadrons?

Do you think 20 years ago a "enemy" built aircraft would get so much adoration (even if its performance was so vaunted)?

First hand experience with appropriated USSR equipment... 1992 WSMR (White Sands Missile Range) Operation Roving Sands. We were set up to particiapte in the "air war". One day I was walking out to the launcher when I heard a sound that was unfamiliar to me. Bot a UH-1/60 AH-1/64... I was looking at the direction of the sound and from the other side of the dune a big @$$ HIND popped out. Much to my amazement. It was so cool to see it like that. It wasn't on our list of friendlies or bad guys.
