  1. Bro, that's straight up Eubonics right there! Actually, there's a guy in our unit that texts like that exactly and I told him if he can't text to me in a language above what a 6th grader can write, then he can't text to me at all. He got offended, and I told him it serves him right - if you want to be taken seriously and intelligently, then write and talk in a way that shows that.
  2. Now just imagine being underneath that thing near the runway when it's coming into land. I got to do that when I was at Gulfport a couple years ago.
  3. That reminds of the time when one of our guys in Kirkuk mis-identified a Nerf football with stabilizing fins as an unexploded RPG laying in the base one night. We had EOD to respond out and when they got a clos look at it, their response was, "God d*** it! It's a f***ing Nerf ball!" They then gingerally picked it up and carried it to the person who had reported it and told them, "Becareful, it could be dangerous!"
  4. Some more... STOCK EDITED
  5. Yeah, but most of those models are very low poly. Right now there's a team making a Delta Quadrant pack. BC has evolved big time from how it was originally released... and none of it was from the original developers. It's all contributions from the BC community. If you get the right mods, your BC install can be on par with the current games, and this game was made back in 2002!
  6. Some screenshots I've taken lately on Bridge Commander. I've edited some of the photos, but I also provided the stock photo with it as well. STOCK STOCK EDITED STOCK EDITED
  7. That's it!... That'll be my new sig!
  8. Ok, was it called "The Good, The Bad, and The Stealthy", or "A Fistful of Ninja Stars"?
  9. It's really not that hard to do when every other movie that comes out is about freaken aliens. I'm sure by next week I can post up another one. And it's Han Solo and James Bond
  10. http://www.youtube.c...=action%20movie
  11. It's Skyline... as in the edge of foreground terrain that meets the sky - not to be confused with the horizon, which is where background/distant terrain meets the sky.
  12. You could still go see it. Just dont expect much from it. It's also apparently a ripoff of another movie that hasn't come out yet and the fx guys are getting sued over it.
  13. Just looked into this a bit more and there seems to be s legal issue underway between this movie and skyline. I did think it was kind of odd that another alien movie was being made featuring my home town. LA can't be that much of a popular spot for our extraterrestrial tourists. Surely there are better locations on Earth to blow things up.
  14. Well, if they vaporize the San Fernando Valley, I might go see it just incase they get a shot of my house getting blasted to pieces. Even if the movie sucks, it'll still be cool to see that.
  15. Another alien invasion movie?... There's just too many of these movies coming out. Seriously, when the rapture happens, everybody will think it was the result of a mass alien abduction.
  16. Got it... well, it's not as good a freetrack. The response is kind of clumsy, limited, and very very slow. I tried adjusting the settings to make it work fater and able to pan and tilt further, but it won't. I'm sticking with freetrack. This program has a lot of promise to it... just needs to be developed more.
  17. Ok, I got it, now how did you get it to work for SF2? I can't seem to get it to run for it.
  18. Good character development, good plot, I would say that out is more original than most movies that have been released lately. It definitely succeeded as a suspense movie. I think I will be buying this on dvd when it comes out.
  19. That it's way better than Skyline.
  20. So all you need is a webcam? No LEDs to wear on your head?
  21. AVP2 is better than Skyline... I know what movie you're taling about. The one where the Aliens are running loose in a small suburban town and the Predator is hunting after them. That movie at least had a plot that was somewhat understandable. In Skyline you just don't know why all of this crap is happening. You do know what is happening, have a somewhat good impression on who is involved and when and where this is taking place. However, there are still a lot of questions left unanswered. Another thing that was just stupid is that the characters, who are located on the are not afected by a . They even fubbed up on the CGI of the F-22... it looked like a hybrid of the F-22 and the Boeing X-32.
  22. Best 1.) The Matrix (the first one) 2.) The Aviator 3.) Back to the Future (the first one) Worst 1.) Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen 2.) GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra 3.) Skyline
  23. AVP was far better than this movie. Pretty much, the whole movie is the based on the point of view of the average bystander(just like the new War of the Worlds) that's caught up in the middle of the alien invasion. The only thing that really killed it for me was the ending and some other places that should have obviously been destroyed by certain weapons being used and weren't just for the sake that the main characters wouldn't die. The only thing that I did like, and found to be somewhat realistic in a sci-fi sort of way (plot spoiler here) is that the
  24. My synopsis.... Unoriginal, frustrating plot and directing, lame @$$ ending. Special FX were average, character development was average, a couple unrealistic scenes that made mw roll my eyes. This movie is not even worth renting on Netflix.
  25. I think the reason why they gave the "I don't know" answer is because of how unusual the contrail was. Nobody wants to give the wrong answer just incase it could have been something. Obviously, if it was a real threat to national security, it would more than likely be detected on our radars and our guys at base-ops would send out an up-channel non-classified message of a possible secuirty incident or some kind of threat to national security. The guys at base-ops didn't notice anything on radar being unusual so they didn't up-channel anything at all (probably because contrails from airliners aren't a threat to national security). So the guys at the Pentagon were never notified and were probably mystified by the appearance of the contrail when the media showed images of it. Not everybody at the Pentagon is a "Mr. Know-it All" so there is going to be a lot of speculation instead of direct and correct answers when something like this comes up. It would be quite irresponsible of them to go screaming off that it's North Korean subs off the coast of Californai launching missiles when it was just an airliner, and it would be equally irresponsible of them to say it's just nothing when it really could be something. Even though we live in the age of fast foods, microwave meals, and information on demand via internet, not everything is instant and readily available. Another thing to note as well, if you were to view this contrail formation from a different position, lets say 100 - 200 miles north, it probably would've just looked like a regualr contrail and nothing significant at all. Back in '99 or 2000, I remember Vandenberg launched a rocket just after dusk and the rocket's jet trails were illuminated up in high altitude region by the sun. Because it was dark outside, it looked like a comet was coming down to crash into earth. A lot of people were freaken out and NASA got bombarded by phone calls throughout the evening.
