Thank GOD like everyone said but i am just reiterating, that the pilot got out safely and its a shame to loose such an awesome airplane but mistakes happen, things fail, the older the airplane gets, the worse flights take their toll, and it is still a shame but thank God again that the pilot survived unlike so many others before like USMC HAWKER stated above -

I just like the little stuff like that that adds to the realism since this is as close to flying a jet as i will ever get since 1. I am not smart enough to fly real jets, lol 2. I love the whole sense of aviation, 3. I am too old to fly for the military now since i would miss flight school age cut off by a year and its not waiverable for the USMC, Semper F#@ked again, lol

Does anyone else think it would be cool when u eject to see urself launch out of the a/c and float down in a chute instead of just seeing the canopy fly off and the a/c fall away and the screen freeze and leave the mission? Maybe this has already been covered in another thread but i figured i would throw my 2 cents in on an aggravating subject involving the thirdwire series.

NO, i am in no way smart enough to do it, i wish i could though, but i dont have the understanding or skill for it, i just adjust my ac that other people make to fit my tastes, little fixes, no way smart enough for modding on ur scale, but i sure wish I was just joking around -

I also read Phantom over vietnam, i thought it was an excellant book also, talked about all strikes as mentioned above and how there was very little to no MiG activity at that time.

Has anyone read the book Scream of Eagles? It tells u how Top Gun was formed during Vietnam when the kill ratio dropped to i believe 2:1 and how they taught ACM to increase the ratio to 18:1. I thought it was pretty good, i have read it about 10 times

I wish i could afford a setup like that, that is sweet that makes it definitely more fun and more realistic, i just wish i could buy a real jet pit and install all that stuff, that would rock, what do yall think?
