  1. Just because you have dx10 installed on your rig and a game is created with dx10, unless your gpu is dx10 capable(i.e.late model cards) you will render less than desirable graphics and playability. That being said, in order for spf2 series to be "better" than spf1 you must have the hardware (gpu and cpu) to exploit spf2's full potential. Very few, if any games are written these days that require quad-core capability. When it comes to gaming processor speed is more important than multible cores(more than4) which can actually slow fps performance.Unless you muti-task while you game look for speed over number of cores. P.S. remember to install all games and patches on win7 and up OS's in < run as administrator > mode. God bless all.
  2. Try <Run as Administrator> when installing game or patches. Worked for me.
  3. I have no problem running any 1 series game on win7, install location C:\Program Files(x86)\Stadegy First\ Strike Fighters or C:\ Stadegy First\ Strike Fighters. As long as you < Right-Click >,<Properties>,<Run as Administrator>, when installing game or patches. Be sure to close AV or any other programs running in the background, and you should enjoy a trouble-free install.
