Fix for flickering water in VietnamSEA Tile Repaint by Brain32 with the new patch. Open the VIETNAMSEA_data.INI and put this data in: [HeightOffset] LowDetailMesh=-1.0 WaterMesh=0.8 This gets rid of the water flickering and shimmering etc, at least on my PC. Thanks to Canadair for this info from a previous post.

I don't have WOI, but I think it is the same format. This is the way to do it in WOV 1. Open the "Campaigns" folder in the WOV folder. 2. Open a folder in the the Campaigns folder that you want to add the aircraft to. 3. There are two files to edit, (A) RollingThunder.ini and (B) wovCampRT_data.ini This second one might have to be extracted using the cat file extractor and placed in the folder. 4. Open wovCampRT_data.ini scroll down to the last aircraft listing, for example: [AirUnit161] AircraftType=O-1E UnitName=23rd TASS ForceID=1 Nation=USAF StartDate=4/1966 DefaultTexture=USAFWhite1 BaseArea=Nakhon Phanom RTAFB BaseMoveChance=0 RandomChance=100 MaxAircraft=30 StartAircraft=30 MaxPilots=30 StartPilots=30 Experience=100 Morale=100 Supply=50 MissionChance[sWEEP]=0 MissionChance[CAP]=0 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=0 MissionChance[ESCORT]=0 MissionChance=0 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=0 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Then add a new air unit for example: [AirUnit162] AircraftType=A-7D UnitName= squadron name here ForceID=1 Nation=USAF StartDate=4/1966 DefaultTexture=USAFWhite1 BaseArea=Nakhon Phanom RTAFB BaseMoveChance=0 RandomChance=100 MaxAircraft=30 StartAircraft=30 MaxPilots=30 StartPilots=30 Experience=100 Morale=100 Supply=50 MissionChance[sWEEP]=0 MissionChance[CAP]=0 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=0 MissionChance[ESCORT]=0 MissionChance=100 MissionChance[CAS]=50 MissionChance[sEAD]=50 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=50 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=50 MissionChance[RECON]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Supply[001].WeaponType=Mk82 Supply[001].Quantity=1440 Supply[002].WeaponType=LAU-3A Supply[002].Quantity=240 Supply[003].WeaponType=BLU-1 Supply[003].Quantity=240 Supply[004].WeaponType=AIM-9G Supply[004].Quantity=240 Supply[005].WeaponType=Rockeye Supply[005].Quantity=360 Supply[006].WeaponType=AGM-45B Supply[006].Quantity=120 Supply[007].WeaponType=WalleyeI Supply[007].Quantity=80 Supply[008].WeaponType=CBU-24B Supply[008].Quantity=240 Supply[009].WeaponType=Tank300_A7 Supply[009].Quantity=480 Change the weapons listed to ones that are in the loadout file. Also change the base and the year. The [AirUnit162] number is important, keep a note of it when you do this. Then save the file. 5. Open the RollingThunder.ini If you want to fly for the USAF, scroll down the the last USAF entry, for example: [uSAFUnit009] UnitName=555th TFS 'Triple Nickel' ForceID=1 UnitID=40 StartDate=1965 DescFile=wovRTStart.txt StartText=wovRTStart2.txt Then add this: [uSAFUnit010] UnitName= put the squadron name here ForceID=1 UnitID=162 StartDate=1965 DescFile=wovRTStart.txt StartText=wovRTStart2.txt Notice that the UnitID is the same number as was set above, the txt file names will be different for WOI. Change the date to match, as well. Save the file. 6. You should now be able to choose the A-7D in a campaign. That is for WOV, the same procedure, with some alterations, should work with WOI.

Example of new bits in the Data.ini files, after the new patch: [RocketAttackAI] RollInRange=9000.0 RollInAlt=1500.0 PullOutRange=1500.0 PullOutAlt=250.0 ReleaseRange=2500.0 SecondPassRange=6000.0 SecondPassAlt=1000.0 ReleaseCount=16 ReleaseInterval=0.095 AimPitchOffset=0.0 [strafeAI] RollInRange=6000.0 RollInAlt=1500.0 PullOutRange=800.0 PullOutAlt=200.0 ReleaseRange=1200.0 SecondPassRange=4500.0 SecondPassAlt=1100.0 ReleaseInterval=1.0 AimPitchOffset=-0.6 In [Pilot] section: CanopyAnimationID=3 This stuff is not in the old thread for WOV fixes. I didn't include the loadout.ini files because the Bunyap ones work ok. I'm sorry I bothered to answer a request, now!

This is for all the default aircraft in Wings Over Vietnam. After the new patch, then adding Bunyaps Weapons pack, all the aircraft data.ini files were overwritten to a previous standard, taking out some of the new features. As per request, in this zip are all the aircraft Data.ini's as they should be with the new patch enabling Bunyaps weapons and the new features. The hardpoints have been changed to either USAF or USN. With the Migs, WP for the hardpoints still works. Copy each file to it's respective folder overwriting the old ones. Best regards The_Editor

1. Clean install 2. Apply patch. 3. Apply weapons pack. 4. Download new Weapons Editor Weapon Data Editor v02.20.08 here: http://www.thirdwire.com/downloads_tools.htm 5. Delete WEAPONDATA.dat 6. Open WEAPONDATA.INI with new weapons editor and save. That worked for me.

Some good links for you Baltika: http://www.britains-smallwars.com/Borneo/index.html http://www.britains-smallwars.com/Borneo/air-war.html You've already got Kuching, so the only one missing on Borneo is Labuan Island airfield and perhaps Seletar on Singapore, but this may interfere with the WW2 senario.
