To USAFMTL: Please help me.
MK2 replied to madzxcvb's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Can you provide more detail on exaxctly what aircraft you see and which ones you do not see? What video card driver? Is it the latest driver? Are there any other issues? Do other games have issues? Have you reinstalled the game? Is it patched up completely? -
That use to happen to me when I had an ATI card, I believe upgrading the drivers fixed it , in my particular case. I also messed with the resolution in game matching my desktop nresolution as I thought it might be some sort of refresh issue, it would happen when I fired the guns as I was closing in for the kill.

Loengrin is DCG DGEN is made by Starshoy and it comes with the game. Do you have the latest 3.04 patch for it? There is a parameter for Flak. I would try posting in the www.simhq.com forums , Strahsoy hangs ouyt there and you will get an answer quickly. Go to the download section here of Il2, download my campaing add on for PF and study what files I used to add flyable careers, it is very easy. I added many for PF. Good luck!

WOV - What patches a "must"
MK2 replied to blueghost27's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
USAFMTL is correct about official patches... just two. There are many planes and campaigns you can add on depending on what you like. For example there is stuff for the A-1H, including campaigns etc. Not sure if there is a must have per se, but there are special effects packs, weapons packs (if you add more planes), campaigns, a lot of stuff. I wil be releasing a VPAF campaing this weekend (almost like a different game) if you like MIGS. Also SF1 was the first game and WOV was the second game released. Most add on planes work in both. Just go to the download section and experiment with what catches your eye. -
F-14 IAF where???
MK2 replied to rookie's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Column 5 is back up, I also updated the file description on the campaign to inlcude the link that USAFMTL provided above as well as the check six link. -
CTRL + F12 make sure you pause first. If you have autopilot on , disengage AFTER you pause and it will go away as well, this should give you a clean screen

well in that case then you might as well wait for the release of the new Falcon 4.0 due out in June. I think it is called lead Pursuit. http://www.lead-pursuit.com/index.htm

Strike Fighters or WOV, Reasons: Keeps track of your pilot's success (or lack of) Keeps track of your squadron mates So moddable you can play almost any war or battle from WW2 to the present. Will not take you weeks to understand the simulator, so it is not as real as Falcon 4.0 but it is not chopped liver either. Graphics blow the 2 you mention out of the water (just see below) and last but not least....it is a lot of fun.

Baa Baa Blacksheep Volume one now available on DVD. It is the story of the famed WWII Marine Corp fighter squadron VFM-214 better know as the "Black Sheep" (although it is a fictional account). The series follows the exploits of this unit in the air and on the ground. The acting is quite good, as is the chemistry among the actors. The combat scenes combine new footage and some actual combat footage from the war. If you like the Corsair Vs. Zero battles this is a must see. I recommend it if you have interest in WW2 aerial combat and hopefully enough are sold so that they release Volume 2 to complete the series. *The breifing screens do not work with this add on. The add on is built for campaign play. Single missions will work 90% of the time depending on the plane used. This is due to some terrain issues, however campaign mode should work flawlessly. Please read the read me text carefully for installation instructions. This is a seperate install.
