Dear Erik, I'm using IE8 and my download manager's Orbit v.3.0.0. what i mean by download limits is that i'm allowed to download about 5 files a day from the CA website & I can't resume downloading partial files... As i said earlier all i end up doing is expending my 5 attempts for a single file... Please could you help me out? Much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks.. for this aircraft. Im experiencing a small problem though... I copied all the folders into the Users >>>Saved games>>>Thirdwire>>>SF2. and allowed the files t overwrite as mentioned in the readme. Although the 'effects' folder is present in the thirdwire folder ( with the appropriate contents). the afrerburner effects are not visible in the game. please could someone help me as to what i'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance. I use an ATI mobility Radeon HD4650 video card , with a core 2 duo with windows 7 home pemium 32 bit

Dear all, i've got a request for the site administrators with reference to downloading files: Please enable the servers to permit resuming downloads for partially downloaded files on download managers. The reason i'm requesting this is because download's can't be resumed. The reason i'm asking this is because 1) I'm only allowed about 5 downloads a day (i don't mind that) 2) When i download say a file; supposing the download fails it can't be resumed even if it's about 50% completed. when i try to resume the download i get an error message saying that the download can't be resumed. please fix this 3) when I try to download the file again and again, it just fails i only end up expendingall my 5 download attempts without even being able to download a single file Please consider this humble request. Thanks

Dear USAFMTL, I have a couple of questions if you don't mind..... 1) In one of the screenshots you posted earlier there was an F-15 single seater with CFT's associated with the F-15E Strike Eagle....Is it an F-15F (proposed optimized air combat variant model of the F-15E)? 2) Will The F-15SE Silent Eagle in your screenshots be able to carry the same external loadout as the F-15E? I mean Boeing claims that the F-15SE can be customized to be carry the same weapons loadout as a standard F-15E or have dedicated CFT's cum internal bays...is this possible to model in TW sims? -
Dear all, I've recently installed Janes USAF on windows XP and have got the add-on Amin Super Pro 9.4. I've also installed the XP fix but the strangest thing happens; After installing everything following the proper instructions, while clicking the game's shortcut the game loads, i hear sound but my screen turns black & I don't get any video output.. I've got an Nvidia Geforce 8600 PCI epxress, a Core 2 Duo @ 2.20 Ghz and a Samsung Syncmaster 920NW LCD screen... Please could someone help me out? Thanks...

Uh..Excuse me.. Before anything let me say that this jet looks awesome but Please don't get me wrong for asking this; Will this bird have Canards/foreplanes?? -
Remember the Il-2 series is supposed to be a WWII flight sim with a couple of 'what-if' birds and ones that didn't see service till the war ended... No I don't believe any modern jets have been created for the Il-2 series, as the game engine does NOT support, radar, digital avionics such as FLIR, JTIDS Laser designators etc, & guided missiles (except the X-4 wire-guided rocket)
-
Nope... I dont believe so... It's still got the cannon pod under the nose and the RF-4E has its camera set housed in the undernose pod instead of the cannon... Some RF-4E's have camera ports on the panels close to the nose,as you said. However it's unlikely that the one in MigMasher's post is one of them..... have a look at the pics in this link: http://www.airplane-pictures.net/type.php?p=225

Ok..... That's Fine..... but what about the newspaper article quoted in the 1st post of the thread.... It says that the opposing aircraft were Sukhois altough it doesn't mention the type.... -

PREPOSTEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MiG-21's beating a JSF??? That isn't possible in the realms of reality (unless of course the MiG-21 was piloted by someone like Manfred von Richtofen , Walther Nowotny, or Adolf Galland and the JSF was piloted by a janitor who's just learnt to fly.) But there's some ambiguity in the Australian News article.... quoted in the ist post of this thread; It says that the JSF was beaten by Sukhois...but it doesn't mention which type of Sukhoi aircraft... and here it says that the opposing aircraft were F-13's (whatever that is)... Strange....
