    I kind of like the limited part because at some point some weapons will just be used up faster than others and it makes for better fire discipline knowing that you can't just waste your weapons and what nation has a unlimited supply of weapons especially the high tech ones.

    Note that a expensive stick does not mean no problems. My Attack 3 was bought for $10 in '07 and I have not had a single problem what so ever.

    If and when you go to stick you will feel how 'natural' it is to have all your important controls on the stick. but then again maybe thats not for you. What is emmersion to some may not be for others

    No flight stick? oh well you are in for some tough dogfights

    the early winders are not that good so get nice and close to the target try not to waste the winders by taking bad shots and always carry a gun pod if you can.

    I'm really having to practise my SAM dodging skills in this one. very tense in every mission!

    I was on the radio begging for help but RedCrown just said no assets available BTW what is up with the newer SAM systems? man they are VERY deadly!! I did a single mission in the late 90's and did not last even to make it to the target area!! Great fun this NF4 is

    Thanks for the great replies (even the funny ones ) I'm putting the suggestions to practice and slowly but surely I'm begining to fare better. (I thought Flankers had look down shoot down abilitiy) Here's the fun part, in any type of non fighter aircraft Flankers and Fulcrums chase me all over the map lol

    I'm flying the '86 NF4 Campaing using the F-16 and man I'm having a tough time dealing with the Flanker. 1) I have no radar A2A missiles only 'Winders.(Yeah I know I can change her loadouts) 2) By the time My Flight can get within furball range im missing a few vipers. So I'm trying to stay in the weeds to then pop up from behind. 3) Trying to go 2v4+ Flankers is NOT a good idea

    I was born there and have been back several times Lompoc is isolated but santa barbra county has some great scenery and beaches. some places are pricer than others so do your home work there were some major fires there last year

    I'm running a 8600gt oc 1 gig card on a 3.1 dual core amd board not a single problem

    Yes. When you hear it press R then look to that direction and find the SAM and do all this as fast as you can.

    We all have been hit by SAM's and most of us have learned to hit the "R" key to find the site launching and if we dont have RWR we try to pick up the SAM as fast as possble then use some evasive moves to save our butts. You will get better at this in time.
