At the beginning of Rolling Thunder only thing we faced was AAA even up north but as of the spring of 67 it is SAM city up north and the numbers keep growing! and to top it all off, the F-4C/D models don't have RWR so I'm guessing as to where the SAM's are comming from

I've been flying F-4C/D Rolling Thunder With Satan's Angels starting in 65-66 it is now 4-67. Was tasked a Strike Mission into the north and guess what? There were SA-2's waiting for us! I was very surprised and shocked to here SAM calls We made it back but we saw other flights going down in flames. Has any one else experienced this? I was surprised because up til then missions into the north were met with just AAA.

try a little of both. a bit more ram and a better card (if possible) I got a Geforce 8600gt 1gig card for $150.00 U.S. -
depends on the service for the marines it's the harrier II for the USAF it could be A-10, F-16 etc depends how modern you want to go.

The Graphic Novel is rated as one of the top novels in history and like FC said it does not always translate in to a great movie. It is better to read the novel first to have a idea of what is going on. (IMO)

Same thing happened to me. I started in the D and upgraded to C Never get in a turning fight, get to know the strenghs of the F-4, keep your speed up, when the fight is on use full power and take it to the vertical. most important; read up on phantom tactics!

yes the DL section is down for maintenance it is large and we have the OFF guys here and they need their own sections so it will more than likely take a while.

I don't know if you are using the latest patch in which your wingmen are a lot better but have your #2 cover your 6. as far as not getting locked up i would read up on what missiles are being used against you then try to stay out of the parameters of fire. I don't fly the Mig's I shoot them down.
