It really is difficult enough as it is picking a winner out of three-hundred-odd screenshots per month. The quality has got better each month, both the original in-game shots and those enhanced with photo-editing. I certainly agree with Spinners that some of the screenshots do inspire you and I take great satisfaction from looking at them and their comments. Even though it's a competition, everyone is a winner really. All I ask is that people don't repost pics cos it's driving me buggy !

Very sobering. Fire is always bad, but somewhere like on a ship, confined space etc, truly terrifying. I think the culprit could do to have my fencepost treatment for starters.

lol.......so well worded ! Seriously it really is nuts, isn't it. (see what I did there, eh...see it)

I use Photoshop CS3. Every decal I try and make comes out blank. I'm not too au fait with Photoshop...still learning. I can do skins, understand layers etc but every damn .tga comes out blank. I haven't sen the Timmy tutorial posted above...so I'll have a go with that. If you hear a scream, it's me pulling my hair out.

I've followed that tutorial lots of times and with no success. Either I'm missing some vital step or I'm just crap at it, dunno. Maybe I only try it when I'm having a blonde moment. I may need child-like easy to follow steps in big writing

It's just progress. We all have our favourites and are sad to se 'em go when the time comes (whether it's too early or not). Cost is the defining element in any military these days and if the sums don't add up (or someone at the top thinks they don't) then it's adios. The Tomcat was a true classic and deserves it's place in history.
