  1. Anyone here have an interest in Civil Aviation as well as military ? Apart from flying yourselves, I mean...god I hate this word it's far too nerdy...planespotting. I'll admit it, I get across to Humberside airport when I can and regularly visit the AVP at Manchester.
  2. Ant's right...why try to fix it if it's not broken. She's the TSR2, no more, no less. An elegant lady taken before her time. Let's just be grateful that we're getting the chance to experience her.
  3. It's a surefire way of getting good sales from their target audience though. I find it a bit gratuitous personally but hey it's nothing that you don't see on TV or the internet. You are right of course Basher, I think most self respecting parents wouldn't let their kids play it at home, but it's when they are round at their friends...well you can't keep tabs on them all the time. Anyhow, I watched a couple of friends playing online X-Box 360 looked good fun. They were fighting it out on an airport apron. Pretty cool I thought with Jumbo's taxiing past etc. Didn't manage to have a go but I will do next time I get the chance.
  4. Since we're taking the Fleet Air Arm route, howz about Skua, or Roc ? Can't beat a bit of Blackburn I always say, but then I am rather biased.
  5. Some more goodies (on my ipod at least) Lynryrd Skynryd: basically anything by the "original" band. Is This It : The Strokes Hunky Dory : David Bowie ( a classic ) As for individual songs, Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult is a personal fave. Basically anything by Fatboy Slim too. Jose Gonzalez and the Foo Fighters also, my musical taste is varied. There's simply too many great songs\albums to mention.
  6. You should have backed up the original VietnamSea folder, tut tut. Just in case.

Has the AMX got an official name yet? Last I heard it had to have a name with the same meaning in Portugese and Italian.
  8. Was thinking of buying that, I have their WoV terrain and like it.
  9. Nothing wrong with asking, if you don't ask you don't find out. The dumb guy is the one who's afraid to ask.
  10. There are too many good ones out there, at a pinch my top 5 are, not neccessarily the greatest ever that's too difficult, but my faves: 1. Nevermind Nirvana 2. The Queen is Dead The Smiths 3. Highway to Hell AC\DC 4. Led Zeppelin IV Led Zeppelin 5. Script for a Jester's Tear Marillion
  11. If it's Battle of Britain you're in remember the Spit's & Hurri's are only armed with rifle calibre .303 machine guns. Even with eight apiece a He111 will take some knocking down.
  12. ...sssh Laz, don't mention the B-word. When we get one of those you can pinch me too. It is coming, just be patient.
  13. Craig with your superior aircraft cooking skills you'd make someone a fine wife Typhoon, now TSR2...happy days are here again. la la laa etc. TSR 2 is the best aircraft we never had. Politicians, who'd have em eh?
  14. Hope you all have a great day over there. Enjoy...
  15. Why not rent it for a couple of days ? Try before you buy
  16. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...0&start=360 ????? Non compredez a la understario dans le questionne realatio topico ?????
  17. Since when has fact ever had anything to do with a Hollywood movie ! I like realism, really I do, but there's a time in everyone's life when you must put down the magnifying glass and stop counting rivets and just chill out and enjoy it. And I did.
  18. There should be some hidden command in the code, whereby you get shot down then the game uninstalls itself! Then you have to go through the whole shebang of reinstalling, modding etc. Cruel ? Yes. Exciting ? You betcha ! I think folks would fly with a little more due care if such a thing were real.

    Well, I'm back.

Welcome back Mannie. PC faults get us all in the end
  20. Was on the TV today...forgotten what great footage was in there. Excellent shots of F9F Panthers and of course, a brief attack by Skyraiders. The effects weren't bad for 1954 either. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  21. lol ! Simply place an airtight lid on your virtual cup and you can do all the fancy jinking you like. I've heard that in AWAC's they're served silver-service coffee in best cups and donuts. Oh, what a life...sigh...
  22. Congats Nesher! If you ever visit Northern England, do pop round and you can teach me some Krav Maga ! Best wishes and good luck.
