  1. You're welcome Derk. I can only say the same about reading Dutch material. I quickly get the general idea of the content
  2. http://tinbox.dk/da-main.htm All publicized issues available for download here
  3. AT-x letter code was used by the training flight at FSN Aalborg. The first letter of the code is where the unit is based. K= FSN Karup S= FSN Skrydstrup A= FSN Aalborg
  4. Tip tank colors for each squadron ESK725 silver ESK726 Blue ESK727 Red ESK728 Orange (early years same but with a black lightning) ESK729 Gold (Early years as picture above black with gold arrow) ESK730 Green
  5. http://www.milfly.dk/pdf/f84.pdf All serials incl. the letter code for each aircraft. I'm going to dig a little so I place the letter codes by squadron. It appear that the RDAF used 3 different serials codes for the F-84E/G All aircraft pre 1954 used the original USAF FS-XXX Or FS-XXX-X !954-60 Letter code like SE-H 1960 onwards very few aircrafts still in service A-XXX A lot of the RDAF F-84G's were ex KLU
  6. Color sample http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/forums/downloads/plug-ins-photoshop/17/full-wwii-color-swatches-photoshop-237/ Most useful set of color swatches
  7. I don't know why the gun crew reminds me of the movie Canadian Bacon
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGxRNuL6lfg&feature=related Talk about staying cool. For those not understanding a word of Swedish its the pilot of the aircraft who stand and explain how he got out. Taking his time double checking to make sure he was free of any straps before he opened the canopy and climbed out. As he put it in his own words. I didn't want to stay longer outside in the blaze than needed. If its was me I probably would have asked for some clean underwear.
  9. Great stuff Paul. One thing though the underside of the camo birds should be petroleum blue closest match should be something like RAF PRU blue. Otherwise awesome as usual my friend
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fye_2AipFTA One of my favorite It pure genius the idea of dispersed airfields using a short straight strip of country road. The enemy will have a very hard time talking out the capability of an air force using this tactics
  11. The drill of the crew... NO COMMENTS
  12. I was thinking the same when I saw it :clapping:A one engined stand in

    What now?

    We all need a hobby

    What now?

I think it would end up in a crazy long thread. But a very fun one being more intense the closer it comes to a end I think would be the package game all over with eager people snatching it from another in a question race speeding up the farther the threads run.

    What now?

It just need a few rules on hard the question must be so everybody have a chance to answer it. keeping it in the common knowledge range of the spectrum

    What now?

How about making a question and answer thread? Ask a random common knowledge question which everybody can answer and the first to answer that question is entitled to ask a new question and so forth. Let it run a random time which only you know Erik. The one with the unanswered question when the time expire wins the monitor. This way it need some kind of effort to win sorting out any inactive members.
  17. Dave finally got his Pony and spanked it to death Nothing in this world is absolutely perfect. I can see this from both SE and Dave's point of view. Why fix stuff that ain't broke just because some few complained that their craft is not a death star like Brain put it in one of the threads at the Thirdwire forum. At the same time I really get tired of reading people whinnying about every single item TK release. If it is so bad why do the same guys still buy it only to complain and criticize. Its not always those which is loudest who get something changed, since they probably never get enough to get satisfied anyway. Its only a hobby for us but TK have to live of the revenue collected and you can do the math your self and take the prize of any his stuff and find the multiply factor to get a decent living plus paying salary to his staff. Maintenance, rent, tax and etc.
  18. Probably lost somewhere in patch hell
  19. Totally agrees WM. Even though I'm not a OFF'er I really enjoy visiting yours part of the wood. You guys have a unique sort of brotherhood with the out most respect for each other even if you don't agree. Come to think about it I really don't recall ever been witness to a regular fight in here.
