I was hungry

My own pc is so burnt out that anytime i add mods, FPS drops. It is like playing by mail. I was going to replace this one with something better, but after reading this, i may not spend so much in specifications if performance doesn´t peak as much.

You know, once i had an absurd dream because of that film. There was a C-135 variant wich was an airborne chicken grill, it got hit by a sidewinder, exploded, and a stick with four chickens flew through my window, stuck itself into the wardrobe and i ate all chickens, then som AF officers came home claiming the chickens. Talk about crazy man.

The F-16 is coming for sure, either as a separate DLC or in the expansion...unless they are doing so bad that they are ending the show as it is. About the flyable Intruders and Starfighters, i don´t know how much would it take to bring the cockpits to sf2 standards, but i´m sure it would be worth a shot. About all the mobile phone goodies, i guess they wont release substandard ported stuff unless they fix it. But a few AI planes like F-5 or MiG-25 would be a sure hit...maybe for the expansion too. Who knows, we talked a thousand times about this, it is only a matter of time. I´m personally patient. While my burnt out PC doesn´t let me have much besides stock stuff, so far, im happy flying the Dutch Hunter and the Phantom N. If i get bored, i shoot mutants on Killing Floor. If something new comes out, i´ll most probably get it. If it doesn´t, i keep my cash. Simple. But i think it would be worth to keep it up and i hope they do so. Both for them and for CA inmates.

So far, my options are Royal Guard as Air Force trigger puller if i score the max in the Fitness Trials (wich i seem to be about to do) or Navy in "Operations and Systems" in Aegis frigates at Ferrol if i pass with a lower qual. Probably the same as my father served aboard until a couple of years ago. About the 1979 Spanish Navy (and the Air Force, for that matter), for being a conscript and non-Nato force, they were quite hardcore, unlike the Army, wich fortunately has gone quite better. My father hadn´t entered service yet, but my grandad was an old NCO (I think it was what you call Master Chief Petty Officer). He had worked with the USN during the 50s, being stationed on San Diego for months for training and transfer of a minesweeper. He sure as hell loved the place, talks about it often. Consider yourself invited to come back, i´ll introduce him to you if you don´t mind spending hours talking abour Navy, Ethics-Politics, sports and movies. Rota was short of US seamen for a while, but i think we are getting a DESRON as part of the ABM shield. Indeed, last time i was in Cadiz there was a Wasp class ship hanging around.

The recruitment servers are saturated, but i managed to take a swift look. My quals are good enough to depend on myself, so if i pass the hardest fitness tests, wich i´m sure i will, i´m going to be a Royal Guardsman. If i don´t, i´m going to be systems operator at an AEGIS frigate. Looking good. Thanks everybody buds :D

I PASSED THE FIRST PHASE OF THE SELECTION!!! Only 4.500 out of 42.000 applycants did. I´m getting to fight for one of the 1500 vacants on the second. Getting the last exams on Sep 18, people accepted on Oct 11, reporting for basic on Oct 21...Yikes!!

I´m starting to move to make a campaign based in the USN-French Navy operations over Lebanon and Syria in 1983. Does anybody know if there is one already made? If not, can you provide some clues and know-how? I have an stock, full-5 merged install. I don´t know if i should put the carriers like in SF2V (Would it require terrain ini editing, i guess?) or combat groups like in SF2NA (naval map required?). The latter would be prefered, so as to include surface groups supporting ground Ops. Also, any historical insight in those operations would be gladly welcome, i´m researching it but i would love to have as much info about it. Basically, it would be a carriers only campaign. As i did with Northern Sabre Plus, i intend to make it useable with an stock install, then serve as a template for each one to modify or run it at will with 3d party stuff.

Probably, warfare will have changed so much that there wont be an equivalent to artillery as we understand it, but since it is fiction, you could adapt the procedures to the specifications of the technology and weapons system.

Some kind of skin pack with ATAC and Draken skins would kick ass badly...just saying
