  1. Hmm I don't remember this happening on EF2000 since Sep patches, playing on Hard FM...
  2. Naaah, just try a clean install, then first install all germany terrain mods, then add other stuff and see if maybe something else causes this...
  3. That's some strange stuff going on there, first my trees went berserk, there is also some strange effect on the water too. Anyway here is mine germanyce_data.ini just note that mine is set up to use the tree mod. I hope this can fix problems for you and other users :)
  4. Hmmm yeah, the difference is huge. My first thought was resolution but since you say they are the same... I'll try to make similar comparision myself and see what happens...

Well there I am finsihing tiles for BoB terrain so I start making transition textures, One down, looks rather nice doesn't it :) Well but watch what happens when you connect 4 of them together: Could not believe that, and it even had to happen on not just any terrain but BoB terrain lol, can't even imagine how much flak would I recieve for that lol For Mossad members - ofcourse I will not release it like that lol
  6. Well I suspect on several things but can you post a screenshot or a link to one so we can see what exactly do you mean?
  7. Yeah, that's because of tile system usage, however in-game we have that haze at high altitude that does not allow you to see it as clearly as in TE so thing look much better.
  8. I have an ATI card and everything works fine, post the GermanyCE_data.ini here or send me a PM so I can take a look at it.

  12. Yeah, unfortunetly it does not work with newer graphics cards, just digged up my ol' n' dusty EECH and EEAH CD's and tried it this afternoon...pretty big disapointment lol

  14. Sorry m8, it's not in showable state yet, as it's a huge undertaking for one man, and I mean tiles and terrain only, I will have to "hire" people for targets and vegetation or I will never finish it. Once I get to stage where showing some parts is reasonable I'll post it :)

High fidelity Balkans terrain in developement by....*suspense rising*.....*drums*....ME! :D BTW in case of historical scenarios, anything other than groundpounding would be totaly unhistorical for "Yugoslav wars", darn that expression sounds funny lol. Anyway, only on one occasion there were planes of both sides in the air in the same time in the same area...but nothing happened. The fog was thick and nobody wanted to get killed so after a few "hey let's try to find them" both flights RTB'ed. I have no interest in Croatian Independence war scenarios, I don't need to play it, I lived through it lol However, the terrain I'm making will allow for many possibilities, for example: WW2 - why not, ok the terrain might be a bit too modern, but don't be river counters :D Yugoslavia - SSSR - 50's crysis - that was a close shave, we had F-80,F-86,F-84 etc. against MiG-15 and company...might be interesting. Yugoslavia - Bulgaria - was some problems in 70's, was nearly 10 years before my birth, but my dad was a T-55 driver, and they were showing off the power near the border, maybe Starfighter knows more? General Cold War as in WoE...

It would be very difficult for somebody to explain you how to do them, basically you need to make one in 3dsMAX, create animations and map it, then export it to the game via 3dsexporter you can find in CA downloads(Utility section). However even after that the work is still not over, you need to "make it alive" with some *.ini work. All in all pretty hard and tedious thing to do, I would love to learn that too, but since I do not have in basic 3DS MAX skills, I'll stick to terrains for now lol.
  18. He said Israeli jammer not radar. I can't remember what he said about the engine, but AFAIK original MiG-21-93 had Klimov RD-33. However I have no knowledge on what exactly did you do with the thing so... Anyway I saw you went all wet and defensive but I still do not understand why as that report wasn't derogatory to IAF at all, I would actually say it was exactly the opposite of that. Do you want to say that he was wrong and IAF sucks?
  19. Sorry it's default, the original texturelist got lost, so it was hard for me to add extra textures onto default ones. I can make (many)extra textures if anybody is willing to put them to good use. Just as long as that rules me off having to start another instance of terrain editor lol
  20. Differing or not the only way that would fit anywhere would be no shadows at all, however theese are satellite photographs so such things are unavoidable...
  21. Interesting you mentioned this lol. Anyway on another, il2 related forum one guy complained how modders stole the tile from Oleg's SoW:BoB preview example. I told that guy that was stupid and that I can make a seamless tile like that in less than 5mins. So I did, then I made another, and another and well...why waste it on a silly argument :D
  22. Well I had a sudden hit of inspiration so I nearly made completely new set of tiles for BoB terrain even though I don't play ww2 in SF series. It's nothing very special really, but I think it looks rather nice and it can be finished very quickly(might as well pull it off as soon as Monday). There are no trees or objects so somebody would have to do those - sorry. Anyway if you like it just say and I will do my best to release it ASAP ;-) Here are a few pics:
  23. Make sure Athlon 5000+ is BlackEdition, those babies have unlocked multiplier, every single one so far went to 3GHz without much hassle :) BTW: good to see you back Stary :)
