  2. That's awesome Geezer. It could still be used as a "Recon" and/or "ArmyCoop" aircraft in missions and campaigns. It's a very cool looking late war plane. the wings were huge. And it was tough. Of course I say yes to this project.
  3. I always liked the AEG planes. This one is beautiful. I've been so caught up in my move to our new house and work that I haven't been able to work on the StratigicNodes for the new Verdun terrain. I feel like I'm so far behind now with FE. I'm missing out on the new handful of awesome planes and objects. Thanks Stephen1918. Any "J" types in the future? AEG, Junkers, or Albatros armored "J" types? Pitty the gunners cant train their fire on ground objects. Straffing trenches would be great.

  5. The "Red Streamer" can be placed into the Weapons folder. Then a new entry can go into the Weapons.INI. Then the streamer can be placed anywhere on an aircraft as a Weapon_Station. I'm sure the .LOD can be used as a dummy Pilot too. But the color of the Ribbon is red and was colored in the .LOD. There is no .bmp to change the color.
  6. Just so you guys can see what it looks like. Almost done. Just need to get the nerve to redo the StrategicNodes. Don't really want to do them but I have to for the campaigns to work right. It will take some time. A lot of time. But the trains routes seem to work (as truck routes only in Armed recon missions). But there can be Infantry movement for Co-op missions. Lots to put into the package. Almost too much to explain to make it all work the way I have it. It would be a good idea to do a separate install for the "New" Verdun terrain.

  10. Here are all the towns, bridges, aerodromes, medium and large airfields, train stations (small and large) and other places I've added to Verdun. 913 TargetArea's (so far).
  11. After all these months of re-doing Verdun, and adding many more TargetArea's (towns and misc places) I forgot to update the StrategicNodes as well I was wondering way the campains were acting all weird and the Front Lines kept going all over the place. It never ends! But it's still fun right? ......right? Holy crap! Talk about time consuming! Can't believe I forgot to do that. Could have done it as I was making the new TargetArea's. Now I don't know whats new and whats original. Argh!
  12. It takes so long to place all Geezers awesome new ground objects and Stephen1918's. But man,.....It is well worth the time. Makes every airfield and town come alive even when they are just static objects. Lookin awesome Stephen1918! We don't have to worry about the weather change not working with this terrain either.
  13. Just open the zip file for a bunch of pics. Too many to post individually. Almost done with the terrain. Need to ask permission to repost a bunch of .LOD's from a few members to make it easier for everyone. The Types.INI and Targets.INI are huge. Been fun making it but I'm going to be moving in a couple of weeks so it might be a month or so before it's ready to upload. Hope it was worth the months of work! At least I like it. Verdun Pics.zip
  14. For FE2 I just put my Pilot stuff directly into the Aircraft folder. It works too. I have a "PilotData" folder that just has base pilot .ini's in it. I never put any files into it.
  15. The .LOD's, .bmp's and the .INI files go right into the /Objects/Aircraft folder. Not into an individual Aircrafts' folder. If that's what you did.
  16. I like those two new trains. Those are exactly what I was needing for the Verdun train stations. Could you zip me over a copy of them? Pretty please? Are those trains made for Tracks only or are there ground level ones too?
  17. I agree with whiteknight, change the "303CAL_LEWIS_MK2_Gunner" to "303CAL_LEWIS_MK2".
  18. Sadly that effect was removed in FE2. There is no way to attach ground object effects to aircraft. We've tried everything. We've even tried the Wake effect for Stephen1918's seaplanes. No go.
  19. All two seaters or just one in particular? Let us know which ones. Should be an easy fix.
  20. I can open pretty much all the .LOD's from FE2 and extract the UV's for skinning, but I can't open the Destroyed aircraft .LOD's. I guess it's in a different format then the programs I use can read. If any one could open the several "Destroyed" aircraft LOD's for me and post here or send me the 256x256 .bmp UV that would be much appreciated. I would like to skin the "Damaged" .bmp for each model to add a little life and color to the crashed objects
  21. I forgot all about those parked models from the Flanders terrain. Duh. I think they were mostly mid to late war models right? I am using the "crashed" models for the crashed aircraft effect for FE2. I should have remembered the parked models. Good call Stephen1918. Just a couple of early crashed models would do then.
  22. I will rework Cambrai too. But it takes a long, long time to do it. I have 180 tiles to work with now. Half of them I made using Jan Tuma's base tiles. I've been adding many new towns and they are all connected by new roads zig-Zagging all over. I've made a few new airfields. A medium size airfield that uses two tiles and a large airfield (Zeppelin base size) for bombers that uses 17 new tiles. So for every tile I made I had to repaint each one for each season. So I painted each new tile about 6 times! BBandy remade some city tiles and TOD's awhile back but didn't finish all the seasons. So I did that as well. He's not around anymore to help out with anything else. Now that Geezer made so many awesome ground objects I'll be busy for months refitting all the airfields. Well not months, I'm almost done. But it would be cool to have a stationary ground object Albatros D type or a Nieuport type to place around the airfields. I guess it would be wise to choose a plane that has stuck around for a long time if one was to make only a few examples.
  23. The Tanks used decals in FEG. But I think they don't work anymore with FE2. I've tried.
  24. Are these flyable or are they ground objects? We really could use some airplane ground objects to go along with your new objects packs. Since the "Parked" aircraft are all random it's hard to place your objects around them. If there were planes that could be placed as ground objects it would be easier to utilize all of you maintenance objects. Maybe some wingless fuselages or even damaged airframes would be cool. Ideas, ideas. I'll never finish the Verdun terrain with all this stuff
