MiG-21 recon flight along the Suez Canal. -
The best way to find the perfect car is to go to the showrooms. Take a seat in the car and ask yourself how it feels. If it feels good then ask for a testdrive. If driving the car feels good, then it is a good solution. If you enter a car and you feel "Thats it!" then you have found your perfet car. Its only a question of feeling.

Indeed. It is obviesly the same imagery. The own side is always heroic, selfless, smart, strong, brave. The other side acts stupid, treacherous, cowardly, is tyrannic and homicidal. Is always the same. At all times, from all sides.

Some nice movies. But finally the same "idea" as the western movies. "We are the good boys, they are the bad guys." Same rubbish in west and east.

F-104 Starfighter -- pulling high Gs
Gepard replied to hawker111's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The question is wheter hawker111 means in game or in reality. In game surely not. In reality, it could be. But i dont know. I know, that some MiG-21 during Vietnam war were pulled up to 12 g in missile avoidance flight maneuvres. After that maneuvres the plane was grounded an must unbended before new flight. Some were wrecks after to much g. I dont know, how much g a Starfigher was able to pull. In emergancy surely more than the allowed 7.33 g. -
Attaining Mach 1 at Military Power
Gepard replied to hawker111's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
MiG-29A, without pylons and drop tank between the engines, was able to go supercruise at altitudes higher 10.000 m. Below 10.000 meters flying with Mach1 and more was forbitten in East Germany. And even then the sound boom could shake (not break) windows. -

For me it is rather a terrain for Minsk vs Tarawa, AV-8 Harriers vs Yak-38. But MiG-21 vs japanese F-4EJ would be possible too. Its only the problem, that strike missions or SEAD is always against the ships, never against the land bases. Screenshot: Approach to Kurils. -

I made one for myself. Not really much work. One red airfield, one blue airfield, and carrier zones. Thats it. Here an other screenshot. MiG-21 takes off from Burevestnik Aerodrom. MiG-21 strikes Nakashibetsu Airfield. -

hidden aircraft
Gepard replied to cab1994's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
The plane was published with Wings Over Vietnam. I never knew, that it was included in WoE too. To make it flyable you must make a new folder F-8E in aircraft folder and then you must include the F-8E.ini file which you must unpack form objectdata.cat. It you has WoV then you can get the skins from there. -
UH-60 Blackhawks: Is anyone working on 'em right now?
Gepard replied to 9specter528's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
UH-60 is not Blackhawk. UH-60 is Black Hawk. Sikorsky S-67 was Blackhawk. And this was a very cool attack helicoper. Would nice to have.- 11 replies

Since the iconoclasters try to remove the monuments of south state generals i ask myself where this would end? The pro monument removement guys say, that the monuments have to go, because the south state generals fought for the continuation of slavery in the south. Okay, this is an argument. But if you arguing in that way, should you not remove all monuments from slave owners too? George Washington was a slave owner. If i follow the logic of the iconoclasters, then Washington DC and the state of Washington must renamed into something else. The picture of Washington on the $ note must removed. And and and ... Or have i not understand the whole thing correctly?

The same incident seen from Ka-52 HUD. At second 6 the aim dot hops on the truck. Then the sign "ПР" appears on the upper side of the HUD. It means, that the weapons are ready and the target in range. At second 7 the rockets starts.
