YO!!!! Fates...Now that's a name I hadn't heard in a long, long time. How ya doin'? Hopefully well and healthy. As for myself, gettin' fat and lazy...never thought I'd see myself not looking into a CRT, or nowadays a Flat Panel, full of Virtual Pilots...that is of course, "Jane's Gang". Whatever happened to all that fun? Anyways, nice to see you still around, and tell all my former 0DB Bretheren that Injun say hello, been many months since Injun heard from them. Need start sending smoke signals, but first Injun need to start fire. Injunz squaw sayz better that Injun go to trading post and get flashlight. Injun, plus firewater, plus fire too much danger. Well hello there. I finally found you again, sheesh, what's happened? Now that I am way behind the times, looks asthoughSLIKK is still up to makin' USAF every good as it used to be, even better?!?! Just dl'd CD1 for SuperPro 2 and waitin for the CD2 to be posted-released. Now I gotta find me original USAF cd's and maybe SP1 cd's as well, then have to dust off the ol' Saitek and learn how to use it all over again? Wow, am I reminiscing or what... So if this SP2 flies, I'll be lookin for some good ol' 1v1, or AOW, Gunz ONLY!!! No TuTus and no UFO's, unless of course a UFO is all you got, then bring it. If you know what I just said well I guess I just conjured up some ol' ghosts, One last line...Hoping everyone has a Safe and Happy New Year!!! <S>All. These past 2 days ive been using Cacheman and using the gaming profile before i startup SF P1. Seems to have helped alot, no more CTD's. Havent tried with MP though, as I have had my 16 and a 18 pack flyin in the USAF lobby lately. Seems as though, whenever I log on to get a game of SF P1 nobody's there, their all over at USAF.....

<<S>>BioHaz members. Last night and the night before, I had a problem with my comp locking up during flight while using Gamespy. Ill be somewhere around 2 min into flight and then it locks up. I am using dialup here, with AO-WELL.... :twisted: Could this be a problem with the high level of comp resources use vs. a really crappy connection, or is this the work of evil beings at gamespy??? :D All my other games work fine, even when im runnin background apps. (Although these games dont require as much of my comps resources.) Ive read the other post(s) about the game locking up at the aircraft selection screen, but I have not run into that problem myself yet. (Knocks on wood!!!) I've got the beta release for HL, and will be tryin that on tonight. :D Cya guys around. <S>Good afternoon all. Havent been around in a few days, comp was down and had to use standby. Almost finished now with my review for SF:P1.....on with the topic. Ive been having problems with the key mapping in the game. For some unknown reason, I cant seem to program my stick(s), either by using the TM or the Saitek software that came with them, or the games own mapping files. Can you use your sticks mapping software with the game, or do you need to use the mapping inside the game and customize to your liking. My TM mapping software nor the Saitek mapping software do not like the any setts I have used, and the games mapping does not hold the settings. I have to re-customize every time I start the game.... Other than that, I have had no problems except for keeping one eye on the kybd and one eye on the monitor, and getting my arse blown outta the sky by them pesky migs.....hehehe. The 2 sticks in question are the Saitek X45 and the Thrustmaster Afterburner 2. Both with their own mapping software that came with the sticks. P.S. Anybody wanna buy a Thrustmaster Afterburner 2 w/detachable throttle? Still has the Thrustmapper software and only 6 months old. This is a very, very sad situation .... Listen up peeps, these are computer games we are talkin about here. Yes, I am, a simgeek :D , but there is a point when u gotta lay down the gunz and say, "You know what, I'm gonna go out and have me a burger at the nearest bar, and watch some Unknown game, of some Unknown sport". But then again, this is also kinda funny, this is just the way I see things. If it ever gets to a point where I start actin outta line, or get my feelings hurt over some forums' posting, I hear now give "You" my fellow flight simmers the right, (and left) to "Slap me silly". Seriously though, (No hard feelings to the others in the other forums), lets have some fun. OK, I've picked up my gunz again, im ready for some All Out War, USAF stlye, gunz only, setts are 140%, no tutus, no hacks, and oh wait, _/ one for me _/ and one for you. Cya guys, <<S>>. P.S. Once again, these are my feelings on the whole situation.

1 word and 1 word only: "Impressive" I dove into my copy last night, but had limited time, so I could not immerse myself fully :( . I am really glad to see that TK and everyone involved did not let the negative reviews and what not stall them in any way shape or form. What has become the final product was well worth the wait. I shall return with a more informative review once i do get the chance to really dive into it. Once again "Impressive", so for all of you who have waited, and those who still have a negative impression due to other reviews, Go and Get It!!! :D

:D Just called my local EB games store, here in town. They had nothing but good news for me. Strike Fighters has made its way on to their shelves, goin to pick up my copy soon as i get off work. $44.99 was the price quoted to me over the phone. Oh, and if u dont know, im in AZ, so should be on the shelves on the west coast stores. I will check back in with the fellow BioHaz community once I have completely immersed :P myself into this Sim. Sweeeeeeet, is all i can say. These are some of the best add on aircraft there have been in a while. Gonna have to get with the gents over at the 195th squadron, and give em hell with the Tomcat now....hehehe. Thnx to brilliant work of Max over at FighterTown, great job Sir <S>!!!!! 8)
