  1. F-2H Banshee (Razbam) Updated data pack

F-2H Banshee Updated data pack v1.1
This is a further update of the DATA.inis of the RAZBAM F-2H Banshee.
In this updated data pack, there are changes in the data.ini, trying to achieve realistic performance specs.
So changes are done in almost every aspect of the specs (weight, flightdata, engine thrust etc) for being as close to the real thing as possible.
For using this pack you need to have downloaded first

    - the original RAZBAM Banshee (Go to RAZBAM website for more details)
    - the Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees of Wrench
    https://combatace.com/files/file/14889-sf2-kaw-f2h-2-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/
    https://combatace.com/files/file/15415-sf2-f2h-3-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/
    https://combatace.com/files/file/15417-sf2-f2h-4-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/
    Credis should go to
    - RAZBAM for the original release
    - Wrench for making this really usable in missions/campaings
    - Ravenclaw_007 for the AN-M30 bomb
    - Spillone for - at least - some of the sounds

    Thoughts for further upgrades
    - The AltitudeTableNumData & DryMachTableNumData are really very limited and are restricting realism. Please give me help to correct them. DONE
    - The F2H-3 (F-2C) is without wingtip tanks but in reality all the -2,-3,-4 models had the capability of carrying wingtip tanks.
I am planning to substitute the LOD of the -3 with the -4 model (since these two were identical externally) but for doing so I am waiting your feedback.DONE
    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
    - Overwrite everything above v1.0. Place the banshee f2h4.LOD (which you can purchase from the RAZBAM website) in your F-2H3 folder.

    What's new in v1.1
    - The Destroyed Model now it's the stock F-84F one.
    - The F3H-3 (F-2C) now uses the F3H-4 LOD. Indeed, the -3 also used more the wing tip tanks than not, since they had a minimal effect on overall performance.
    - Further updated engine data.
    - Corrected ground clearence for the F3H-2.
    - Corrected loadouts. Now the wing pylon can be loaded with bombs (historical).
    - Small touches here & there for better overall result.
    Issues
    - The -4 used a different radar than the -3 model that had also a different radar screen with different symbology (not a successful one, as it often mentioned).
However, it seems that we have the -3 style radar screen for the - 4 model too.
    - In some sources it's stated that the -4 had 20% more range than the -3 model. I am not convinced for that.
Most likely it had to do with the need for full throttle/max power more often than the -4 model
in combat conditions, something which indeed reduced endurance. Therefore I kept the same radius for the -3 & -4 models.
    - The Canadians seldom used their wing tip tanks. I had a hard time to spot canadian F-2s with wing tip tanks when in actual service.
The most likely explanation is that with the small canadian aircraft was too much to handle the take off of the approx. extra 1 ton of weight with the wingtips on the weak -3 model.
If someone wants a tank-less RCN F-2, I can update the pack. However the final solution will be to add the tanks as loadouts.

  2. Fiat G.91R pack v1.0

This is a Fiat G.91R pack, taking the old SFP1 mods and make them SF2 compatible.
The pack includes all three G.91R versions 1,3 & 4, with all the neccessary weapons, pilots, guns & sounds. Five missions are also included. You need to install the NATO fighters campaign for these missions and  the excellent Ravenclaw_007 USAF & Luftwaffe Phantoms.
I tried to make as complete as possible, taking parts from the excellent G.91Y of ErikGen, such as the cockpit, sounds and the ejection seat.
I worked the skins (converted into jpg), the loadouts and of course the data.ini trying to do it as realistic as I could.

The real credits should go to
    First and above all
    - ErikGen
    for make them possible.
    Also
    - Andriam "Kreelin" who made the original Flight Model of the G.91Rs for SPF1.
    - Maurizio "NGHENGO" for the loading and hangar screens
    - Spillone104 for the jet sound, photos and suggestions during beta testing of the initial G.91Y release
    - Steve S for the invaluable infos about the cockpit of the initial G.91Y release
    - Steve S, Soulfreak & Muesli for the amazing skins
    - Ravenclaw_007 for the amazing weapons that made sense to rework the G.91R
    - Viper63 for the excellent pilots
    - bobrock, Soulfreak, Dave, Canadair, 76.IAP-Blackbird, Veltro2k and Nghengo as beta testers of the initial G.91Y release

    Known issues
    - The Attachment Position of the pylons are slighly wrong and should have been corrected. Hopefully in a later release.
    - The cockpit of the G.91Y looks a bit odd, since the "Yankee" was twin-engined and I hope that someone would correct this.
    - A late period ('80s) skin is missing for the Portoguese G.91R/4. I hope that someone would make a skin for it.

I had in mind to rework the G.91R for years, and finally now I managed to do it. Better late than ever.
I think most people know my love for small planes.

  3. UPDATED NATIONS LIST

This is an updated NATIONS list.

I included as much nations and services as I could.

I disactivated the active dates, so no more planes with <none> air force as it was happening when the service dates are before the active date.

I modified also the 'PilotTrainingStandard' for some nations.

    Examples:

Now the SOVIET is 'excellent' as it should have been in the first place.

AFRES, ANG and USArmy are 'normal', not 'excellent'.

This is a tough decision to make, because the pilot training standard improved or deteriorated during the course of time.

So people should adjust it according to the expansion pack/campaign that they are using.

    Examples:

Russia should be POOR in the 1990s, NORMAL in the 2000s and EXCELLENT in the 2010s.

Iran should be POOR until around 2000, afterwards NORMAL.

Iraq should be NORMAL until 1992, afterwards POOR.

Also, I forgot to mention, all speech files have been adjusted for the speech pack, sometimes not exactly accurate e.g.

Switzerland uses German and Bulgaria Russian, but surely more appropriate than USAF speech!

    Enjoy.

    v1.1 changes

    - Mercenary Alignment modified to MERCENARY and Pilot Training Standard modified from EXCELLENT to NORMAL.

    - South Korea Pilot Training Standard modified from POOR to NORMAL.
However, if you intend to fly a Korean War period campaign for 1950 ONLY, modify it back to POOR.

    - Duplicate entry of United States Army Aviation deleted.

    - Iceland is added as a nation, useful for SF2NA campaigns.

    - Russian Navy name changed to its Russian one.

    v1.1a changes

    - The Iraqi 'PilotTrainingStandard' changed from 'normal' to 'poor'.

    - Turkish speech is back to USAF speech by request of Emre.

    v1.2 changes

    - Added the Vietnam People's Air Force of wazalo68

    - Added the United States Coast Guard of Sheriff001

  4. Kfir C.7 & Kfir C.7 (89)

This is my version of Kfir C.7 that was left in my folder untouched since 10/2015, believing it would have been included -at least part of it - in Denis Oliveira next release.

I did a similar treatment to Kfir as I did with other releases (e.g. F-8 & F-16), in Data and loadout.inis, as well as created a '89 version. It has a small problem that will be fixed in a later date,

    so for now is v0.9

So the FM is finally corrected, the empty weights are now correct, as well as many minor other changes in order to make ir more realistic.

Don't be fooled, I did A LOT of research and a lot of BETA testing. When I had no definite data, I calculated, so some data are estimations.

For proving my point, I include a 4vs4 mission, Turkish F-16D Block 50+ (the heaviest Viper in service) against USAF aggressors.

Why v0.9? There are some planes missing. These are TW planes, as well as israeli -A models, egyptian, jordanian, UAE, thai, indonesian & singaporian planes.

    EDIT:

As it turned out, these should be released in a vol.2

    Requests:

I hope someone would make hi-res skins for all these nations mentioned above as well for the early -A models of the four european nations.

Also a proper lod for the taiwanese block 20.

    Logfile changes

    -------

    v1.0

    - Added the fabulous F-16A ADF AMI of dtmdragon, deleted the old F-16A AMI

    - The mission now is on more even terms, both F-16s have now the same loadout.

    -------

    v2.0

    - Added the following planes

    F-16A_Blk10-EAF
    F-16A_Blk10-IDF
    F-16A_Netz_87
    F-16B_Blk15-NDC
    F-16B_Netz_87

    - Now these planes are complete

    F-16C_B40_egy
    F-16C_B52+_egy
    F-16D_B30
    F-16D_B30_agr
    F-16D_B30_gk
    F-16D_B52+_egy

The Egyptian block 40 is based on the Turkish one, the block 52+ on the Polish.

    - Reworked DATA.INI for ALL planes. Mostly, but not only, reworked engine and weight data.

    - Four new missions are added. F-16 vs F-16, these missions are indeed very exciting.

Known issues: The F-16D block 30 skins should be tweaked a bit to represent a 100% proper -D block 30 skin.

    CREDITS:

    Effects/Sounds/LODS/Skins - Dave/The Viper Team

F110 effects only - Fast Cargo < The new, proper F110 effects possibly again by Fast Cargo. If not, please verify.

    The egyptian skin - mohand777

The F110 engine sound, I was not able to trace. Pls PM for any feedback to give proper credit.

A v3.0 will come up, but not anytime soon that will include the above mentioned "jordanian, UAE, thai, indonesian & singaporian planes", hopefully even more than that.

  6. F-8 DATA & LOADOUT update

This is a total rework of loadout and data.ini of ALL F-8s.

These include all TMF, TW and YAP models. You will find them inside three separate folders.

I tried to be as realistic as possible regarding performance figures, empty weights etc. Please give me feedback about the results, what do you think about.

    - Wrench

    - Diego

    - Ravenclaw ? (the seats)

    - TW

    - ? (the sounds)

without you the update would not have been possible.

if some credits are wrong and/or missing, please send me a PM.

    REQUESTS:

    - More hi-rez skins for all three families, like these in the screenshots. As you can see, in both TW and TMF the hi-rez are a real improvement. Skins for the RF-8G, especially late low-viz, will be vert much appreciated.

    - A proper cockpit as both TMF and TW look really dated now.

    - Proper ejection seats (better than before, but still not 100% accurate)

    Enjoy!!

Note: TW models include DLC also.

    This is the AIM-9JULI version.

it's based on a photo of an A-7E(H) in a magazine.
I 've seen other photos of "JULI's" on the internet, and are not all the same.
Possibly depending on which model are based, JULIs differ a bit.

  8. UH-1B, D & E of YAP for SF2V

    UH-1B, D & E of YAP for SF2V v0.1 by FANATIC MODDER

I converted the YAP data.ini of

    - UH-1B Gunship

    - UH-1B Heavy Hog

    - UH-1D

    - UH-1E

    for use in the sf2.

    More in detail,

    - I modified the powerplant lines so it doesn't crash anymore.
Furthermore, more realistic feel, closer to a real helicopter.
    Accurate power data.

    - Gunner animation now more realistic.
The UH-1E right gunner is finally moving.

    - The Helo_Destroyed.LOD line is added.
I am sure most you have this LOD added..

    Why v0.1?

LOTs of things are needed to be done if we can say that they be upgraded
    to proper sf2 standards.

The FM still needs a lot of tuning, since empty masses are wrong,
as are aerodynamic Coef etc. They can go up to 250 km/h top speed but don't be fooled,
it's not because of excess power...

Be in mind that these are NOT complete add-on, just corrected data.ini for sf2 use.

You need to go the Yankee air pirate webpage to donwload them. The -B/D models are part
of the basic pack, however if you want the -E you need to download exp pack 3 or helipack 1.

The way they are they may be not perfect for playing a campaign with them,
however are more than adequate as AI additions to vietnam missions/campaigns.

    The credit go to

    - YAP for the complete model

    - Yakarov79 for his help to make them sf2 compatible.

  10. WOI cockpit for MF F-16A with corrected avionics V1.1

I did this work hoping to motivate people to present a re-worked F-16C cockpit.

This mod enables WOI users to enjoy their MF F-16As with the stock hi-rez TW cockpit.

The stock TW F-16A in WOI unfortunately lacks TWS capability (Note: Apparently I was wrong, it was indeed without TWS in the very first batches), while MF F-16As lacked ground map capability due to a mixture of avionics60 lines in an avionics70dll file (Note: As I was informed, it was later corrected).

Furthermore, TMF avionics are more representative of Blk1/5/10s, instead TW are a bit stronger, more representative of Blk 15 avionics.

I re-worked the avionics.ini to present something as close to reality as I could, based on the stock WOI cockpit.

    V1.1 Changes:

TWS Capability deleted from Blk 10 Avionics

TV Capability restored in Blk 15 Avionics

If you want to use MF TV filter instead of the TW, change this line from

    TextureStage[01].TextureName=GreenTVFilter.bmp
    ;TextureStage[01].TextureName=cockpit\GreenTVFilter.bmp
    TextureStage[01].MipMap=FALSE

    to

    ;TextureStage[01].TextureName=GreenTVFilter.bmp
    TextureStage[01].TextureName=cockpit\GreenTVFilter.bmp
    TextureStage[01].MipMap=TRUE

NOTE: Not 100% sure when Maverick capability was certified for F-16s. It seems to me that it was a retrofit in a later date for Blk1/5/10 aircraft.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

    1) Download, extract and place into respective folders. They will overwrite the previous ones. Remember to keep back ups just in case...

    2) Change this line

    CockpitDataFile=

    from

    CockpitDataFile=F-16A_cockpit.ini

    to

    CockpitDataFile=F-16A_NETZ_COCKPIT.ini

NOTE: Do not, I repeat DO NOT delete the already installed cockpit, since I use many TGAs from the MF cockpit. It won't work properly without it.

ADDED BONUS: Modified MF F-16A OCU DATA file with F100-220E engine.

I want to thank TW & MF and every person that contributed to the community.

  11. EF-4C Wild Weasel IV + Linebacker II campaign with it

This is my version of EF-4C based on the F-4C_8thTFW_1967 made by Crab_02 and Mike Druzolowski. However some parts from the old EF-4C - like the ER-142 and the avionics .INI- of Column5, Sundowner and Storm are also included.
Be sure that you have your F-4C_8thTFW_1967 and their drop tank and decals mods downloaded and installed properly, because some parts like Ejections seats, drop tanks or decals might not be working.
I don't know when EF-4Cs had been actually retired, I assume sometime in the early '80s, (I saw photos that definetely are post-1975) so I put 1988 just to be sure. And something else...I haven't been able to develop the launchers the way I wanted to.I would like to ask to others to have a look at it.The way it is, it's a dedicated SEAD aircraft with one specific loadout. But that's the way it was in reality, so I decided that it's worth it.The way it is, you have the chance to fly some "hot" Vietnam '72 missions.I guarantee you that you 're going to enjoy it.There is modification of the stock Linebacker II campaign included if you like to test your chances...Default skin is the S.E.A. 67thTFS, but there is an 81thTFS skin if you like to try your luck in '70s Germany.

  12. F-8H

This is my little tribute to BPAO.

You need the MF F-8D to fly it:There are no LODs or skin included therefore you cannot see any wing pylons, nor the hump above the wing is visible.Hopefully someone will create in the future a suitable LOD.

    Enjoy!

  14. Tornado F.3 AOP

This is the latest, modern version of the Tornado F.3 as it is used by RAF today.

Don't be so excited, it might be so a complete aeroplane, but the changes are minimal, since RAF tried to update the F.3 as ...less as possible: It is well known the AMRAAM fiasco it was only in 2004 the F.3s finally received a proper AMRAAM capability.

    My add-on is about these,AMRAAM capable F.3s.

    INSTALLATION:

If you haven't installed Bobrocks's F.3, please follow the instructions faithfully as they are on the file QUICKSTART F.3AOP.

If you have already, be sure that you put all the necessary sounds in the sound folder and that you 're going to add all the necessary weapons using the weapon editor.

    ADDED BONUS:

Data for the Sky Flash 6000 series are provided.F.3 AOP can use this missile, however it was carried normally by the standard F.3s since 1988.

The credit should really go to:

    Main 3d modeling and programming:

    bobrock

    FM and avionics advisors:

    Crusader, starfighter2

    Sounds:

    Spillone104

    Pilots:

    Aleks, Canadair, Erikgen, NGHENGO,
    Silverbolt, Spillone104, triplethr3at

    Skins:
    Syrinx

    EDIT:

The changes might be minimal, but still they are highly enjoyable and the AIM-120C-5 suits very well to the Tornado...Don't hesitate to download, you won't regret it.A very fast plane (especially in low alt) with a very powerful radar (comparable with last generation fighters), C-5 extra boosting time and new warhead masks very well Tornado inabilities...you might be surprised.

  16. F/A-18F Super Hornet Block II

All I did was to modify the AVIONICS.INI to block II configuration, mainly simulating the APG-79 AESA radar, using the VFA-213 skins
(VFA-213 has block II planes). You NEED to have the original F/A-18F installed first, because all the the effects, pilot, weapons etc. are NOT included.

    Be aware:

-This is NOT a 100% correct F/A-18F Block II plane, since if we want to follow reality faithfully a modified -almost new- cockpit is needed.
    - I haven't found a detailed performance description of the APG-79 radar, so some changes are in reality "best guess".

So the Credit should really go to:

    Skin by SidDogg

    Template by 101tfs and Erwin_hans

    3D Model by 101tfs

    Flight Model by Erwin_hans

INI work by 101tfs and Erwin_hans

    Effects by 101tfs and Erwin_hans

Original F/A-18A/B Cockpit by TMF modified to an F-18E/F by Erwin_hans.

  17. F-4E Terminator (Alternative)

This is the almost-finished 2020 Terminator that was left in my HD for more than a month.I was stuck in making the right skin (I admit I am not good at it)and it was left unreleased. Now I want to offer it to you the way it is, because if not now it doesn't make any sense later.I use the seytan skin from EVRO, sounds from SPILLONE and the avionics are using elements from the F-4ES mod of ULTRAMAX.

Please have latest weapon packs installed.

I have in my HD a few more projects, that is a

    - Lightning F.2A
    - An updated F7U
    - A Kurnass 2000
    - various MiG-21s and J-7s
    - F/A-18 upgrades

I am going to release them soon, unfinished or not doesn't matter, 'cause I feel is better to just release them and let someone else improve them.If someone else is working on such projects, please let me know, and I would gladly give you my work before release, as long as I am mentioned.

  18. Mirage F-1CG

This is the Hellenic Air Force Mirage F-1CG as it operated from 1975 until 2003.
It is based in the Mirage Factory F1C

    Changes include:
-Mirage F1 cockpit by Ordway (with some minor changes)
    -Engine Sounds by Spillone
    -Hangar Screen by KingAlbert
-New weapondata: Mirage F-1CGs NEVER carried French Air to Air Missiles, or any type of guided air to ground weapons. In fact the only weapon that carried in all their career (apart from the DEFA cannons) was AIM-9 Missiles. The fact that no SARH missiles were ever carried was not to the ...good weather as it is often mentioned (Overcast during winter in the aegean is not that unusual) but due to the fact that THK uses aircraft that were/are in HAF too, like F-104s,F-4s and F-16s.Therefore in the frequent clashes over the Aegean visual indentification is required, for obvious reasons.
-Loadouts are changed accordingly.AIM-9P in its various versions was the standard F-1CG weapon.Only Alu fuel tanks were used.F-1CGs were NEVER used for air-to-ground missions, however they retained some basic air-to-ground capability and it is retained here only for gameplay reasons.
-Automatic Flaps: During the early '80s all F-1CGs were retrofitted with automatic flaps. As you are going to see yourselves this was a substantial improvement.

I 've nothing special but to collect different parts to present a credible Mirage F-1CG.
The credits should really go to:
    -BPAO
    -Sony Tuckson
    -Ordway
    -Spillone
    -KingAlbert

Please notify me if someone else needs to be mentioned.
