Nesher, I let you know that it was today in a free newspaper in the Netherlands to read about the planecrash. (no picture) It was in a few lines and in a corner under a page. Maybe mine lines what I write now are longer. Salute Dutchy

Was the crash today, Nesher? Skyhawks, nice planes. Saw never a Skyhawk of Israel, but only a test thing of (I thought England) and two from Singapore or something. Salute Dutchy

hmmm, I see I make a mistake in a line about sportsbar and L.A. It must be, "that I was in a sort of sportsbar by the international airport of L.A." Salute Dutchy

Sportsbar are typicall America or Canada. We don't have that here. Maybe in Amsterdam, but that is in our opinion a big city. I do know what a sportsbar is. A a sort one in L.A. by the international airport there. We have Eurosport on tv, but mostly what we see is soccer (very populair, but not by me), Rally and motorraces, also the IRL/CART. That is cool. But no Ice-Hockey, only with the Olympics. Eurosport, the name is what is says. It is mostly European sport what you see or what very populair is in Europe. Hello Snapple2993, Icehockey is a (very) small sport here. They never show NHL on tv. I must watch CNN, for a little update about that. But, the team that I support (Flyers Heerenveen) is Champion of the Lowlands. They beat all Dutch and Belgium teams. Never lost a game. But nothing about this on tv, so small (or imported are here soccer and skating) is Icehockey. Shortrack is not what I mean about Speed Skating. What I mean is skating on a 400m track as in Salt Lake City. What you say, was very funny. I saw that moment also on tv by the Olympics. How is the Icehockey season by you Snapple2993? Salute Dutchy

Hello, After all those years of Dutch World Champions in World all-round skating (500m, 1500m, 5km and 10km), is it now one and two for America and the third place for the Netherlands. Congratiolations, Chad Hedrick with your first place. This is in mine country a big sport. And we watch everything and yell for everybody if you are man or woman or Dutch or other nation. I throw out all my plants and stones out of the garden to make room for the Hornet ;) Serious now, why put the Navy a Hornet on E-bay? What's next. Old nukes or other weapons? Is this not dangerous for us? Terrorists can buy also these things. Has somebody thinking about that? Maybe I make my self to worry about it. But I hope the buyer of the Hornet will not keep it for himself, just put in a museum. Salute Dutchy

I don't know what HHH chapel is. It sounds like fun there. Cheap beer (I don't drink beer, but most people likes beer). Beaches and parties, that is great. I can imagine that you have a great time. But about that crew that was captured, are they still in the navy? Salute Dutchy

Hello screen lookers, In the time of tv and pc, I also read books. This is my favourite writer. http://www.stephencoonts.com/ He write about airplanes, terrorists and nice guys and girls that save the world. It is a Vietnam Veteran and still do flying airplanes. I have almost al his books, what comes out in mine country I buy it. Did someone also read his books or do somebody has other favourite writers? Salute Dutchy

She went old your grandmother. She saw in her live, the first airplanes. Two World Wars. First skycrapers. First computers, tv, radio and movie that turned from black&white into colour. A whole history has past with her live. Remember that and remember how your grandmother was. Nice story. But did you know that it was (I believe) 1977 that a Japanese soldier surrender? It was really the last men on earth that was thinking he was still in war, but saw never action anymore. He was married in a little village far away from everybody and every country. Living on a island. And yes, this is a treu story. Salute Dutchy
