  4. wrapped up with the Block 30s. on to block 25s i think im down to under 20 skins now
  5. nowhere near as bad as a whole airfield, but was working on a skin yesterday, paused to make lunch right then we get hit with a power brownout, which happened to be enough to kill my desktop. guess what i forgot to do before going to make lunch?
  6. i've read somewhere recently that the USAF is trailing that scheme on a Viper again. naturally, cant remember where i read it (been doing alot of online searching involving the phrase "F-16C" lately) mandatory screenie, or fun with stickers
  7. i dont suppose anyone knows which serial was the SQUADRON king in 1998? nearly all the shots from 1998 are of the special with the Capitol on it, and i dont think it was the same bird (this one was different from the one in 1995...)

    ok folks, i cant be the only one here flyin Vipers in SF2 i mean, unless someone is playin it in the White House, where else you gonna see these guys?
  9. might want to cut it to the side. most folks using a toyota as a launch platform really are doing "shoot and scoot"
  11. so a little in depth update. i didnt plan to do this one originaly. "it was covered" i said to myself . then my little "do everything" OCD bug kicked in..... 001 in the serial line up original skin 001 serial new skin this unit mark is tga Aircraft s/n 86-0233 original and new this one is on skin. the tga patch is a command bird one that covers. even tidied up the tail a little, although it needed the least work of any so far

AVAILBILITY=VERY_RARE nice site btw. thats from about 3 mins of looking, but got a couple things i want to look at deeper (if i still have my Jane's discs handy)

  21. researching can be draining. should take a trip to the Gulf... if anyone has better pics of the snake on the fuselage, i'd be appreciative. this one is a vector art that looked close to teh pics, then traced, chopped up and rearranged until it was close.
  22. took allen up on that info bout the Aggressor Block 30s. some work later (these are coming in after doing the single seaters in each skin after all)
