I did post this at the ROF site (and here aswell) in reply to a couple of questions about recorders such as fraps but that thread got buried in a day or so and also when the miss posting of Pol's advertising ended up there as well but then was removed. I was hoping that those that were into ROF would look at this vid as to the variety that OFF offers and OFF would be a good addition to thier flight sims. I love both sims, they both have their up sides and down sides. Personally I think that if the OFF team and the ROF team were (A) team they could produce the ultiment flight sim together, great telent on both sides. For those from the RB3D Beta days I was known as SilverFox. It is great to be back into the WWI saga

I spent some time trying to get good shots and keep it short ( About 27 gigs left on the floor heh heh ) But I had alot of fun making it and once I uploaded it of course there are always something you think you should of changed . Hey Sitting _Duck, what are your setting in fraps? My avi's were like 4 gigs for a few minutes of play untill I reduced the FPS to max of 30 and recorded at half resolution. This brought the 4 gigs down to 100 MB or less. If you select "Direct Stream" listed in the menu for Video in VDub that 2 will help down size the file. There are so many settings and variations that it takes some trial and errors to come out with a decent HD vid under a 100 MB's. Hope this helps.

Great strip! This should be on a sticky for others to see later on instead of getting buried as each day goes by. You know, there should be a catagory for this type of media such as videos, comics, screen shots. I know there is a screenshot sticky but this way the media would all be in one area and individuals that are interested in getting OFF can look at these. What you all think? :nyam:

Is this going to be a weekly strip where at the end of each strip there is a cliff hanger and we then have to wait for the next week to find out what happened? I don't think that its a matter of accepting it, we all know what clouds do when you fly in them but I think that if the AI was to respond accordenly to what you need to do then it would make it more real. In other words the AI flight needs to avoid them with you. That would be good. I know that the Devs have tried to find an answer to this cloud situation and I applaud them for this. We are not complaining but just asking if there have been any headway in this. Either way I do not think that there is a person in here that would hang up OFF because of the clouds. By the way, did you see the cloud that looks like Bozo the clown?

This is all good and well but it would be nice if it effected the AI aswell, this leaves you at a disadvantage when there is a high amount of clouds around that you are trying to avade but at the same time the AI do not have to take advasive actions around the clouds. Either way I still love the game.

How come it doesn't effect the AI? Does it do this in CFS3? Well, hopefully some day the issue can be resolved. I to don't mind having to fight the turbulance but it is over done on how it will take you and toss you down to the ground. There have been times when I could fly through with no problems and the clouds were so thick I couldn't see the tips of my wings then other times I'm falling from the sky as my flight continues on. Great sim though.

Olham, find out..... find out..... pleeeeease remember...... I have a hard time flying the 2 seaters because when I am in the gunners seat I am soooo used to being able to move my head that I get closterphobic because I can't...
