  1. It almost validates my policy of never learning my squadmate's names...
  2. The 18th of our umpteen installment series... The war is heating up out there!
  3. It actually popped up for me in game, right after the patch announcement (which I still have to get...) While I probably won't fly those aircraft (other than the S.S.), I'll certainly get the pack to support the team and have them in the sim. Very cool! I'm looking forward to more!
  4. My grandfather brought a few items back from his time in Europe and I was fortunate enough to inherit some of them. One was a German helmet that I originally thought was a proper WWII helmet, but I brought it back from my parents a few years ago and noticed it was actually a WWI model! With a metal frame, it would be an M1917. There were no leather supports when I got it (so I'm guessing it was never used) and the metal frame had unfortunately rusted from years in my grandfather's garage but I was able to get a nice reproduction and a chin strap from the Prairie Flower Leather Company. The inside of the shell is stamped Si66, which would make it a size 66 from the manufacturer below: Si. - Eisenhütte Silesia, Paruschowitz Oberschlesien - (sizes 62, 66 shells) So I figured it was about time I got around to sharing!
  5. #17 - starting to get more exciting now that I'm back in the Nieuport...
  6. #16 - Back In The Saddle Again!
  7. That is a collection of fine looking screenshots!
  8. Thank you! I was thrilled to hear from them too! As someone fascinated by both WWI flying and sim making, I learned a lot!
  9. Who knows what lies in the heart of missions that don't happen? The Shadow knows!
  10. In addition to some plane packs, there's apparently some visual upgrade that Winding Man is working on but even with the threat of me saying "Pretty please? Aw, come on!" he wouldn't elaborate at this time...
  11. Bit of a treat today! Polovski himself descended from the heavens to hold court and talk about all things WOFF and flight sims and even a bit about old brown dogs! So pull up a stool, grab a pint and have a listen! I think it would be great if they did this more often, I learned a lot!
  12. Number #14 - Or "Where is the Earth-shattering Kaboom?" ...oh, there it is...
  13. People say 13 is unlucky. But not if you think of it as #1 and #3! A very fun mission either way!
  14. Number 12 in a 16, thinking about doing 13 in a 12...
  15. While you can't exactly re-fly a mission as they are auto generated every time, in the workshop you can set the outcome to easy - pilot never dies. If you want to re-run the exact same mission number, you would need to manually backup your pilots before each mission and restore the backup after your pilot dies. Robert Wiggins has a utility that does this. It's also useful for any weird mission outcome...
  16. ElevenElevenElevenEleven...
  17. Story or otherwise, It's always a pleasure to see Louvert!
  18. A perfect 10! The landing? More like a 3...
  19. Give Me Back My Bullets! Also: Give Me Back My Bullets!
