  1. To the best of my knowledge, no. But then real WWI pilots really didn't have much impact on the overall war anywhere other than intelligence gathering and propaganda. So the Red Baron was of psychological significance to the high command but he didn't have much influence at the ground level. While I remember a few bombing raids that did some damage, I think in general the payloads of the planes and the accuracy of their drops were just too limited to account for much. In game terms, the sim would have to pass damage values to the shell program at the end of the mission which would then have to add that into the next mission. Additionally, there would have to be some way to keep track of time individually for each damaged airfield or factory so that they could repair over time. I'm pretty sure none of this is being done now, but who knows with the new version?
  2. Up to #10 with the naval guy!
  3. The 9th iteration...
  4. Sorry to hear about your latest news, Raine. I have always delighted on reading your reports when I wandered into the DiD thread. I know you are a huge WOFF fan, but have you considered some coop gunnery work with someone in another sim? The controller demand would be less and when my buddy and I play FC, the coop-ness of it almost makes up for the AI and other weaknesses. Might be worth a look? Best wishes, RR
  5. The baker's lucky #7
  6. 7th Triplane run!
  7. Here's Mission #6
  8. Man, nobody's even giving you a perfunctory "Two weeks"? Ok, "Two weeks!"
  9. The calm after the storm... I missed #4 on here, I guess??
  10. Third time up in the triplane!
  11. This is good for me too as I can never remember! Keep in mind it is very difficult to keep formation this way as the AI seems to transit fly as if they are all inlines...
  12. You can't always get what you want... but sometimes you can! Take that, Mick!
  13. Any group that can fly that tight a formation through clouds can handle some pesky Nieuports. Excellent work nonetheless... Also, I dig that b*tching Alpine sound system you had installed in the Einy... I think the propulsion of the sub woofer gave you a fortuitous extra 5-7kph! Also also, love the last minute "Uhh, am I going the right way?" glance at the compass! First rate all around! What happened to your wingmen? CaptSopwith, missed that pic the first time. That's quite a crew you got there! Who's leading who?
  14. #2 of the #3 career, if you take my meaning...
  15. Nice post, VonS! With regards to bricking your career, Robert Wiggins made a fantastic pilot backup program that you shouldn't really fly without, but mostly if you just copy your pilots folder from the campaigns folder to somewhere else while you are testing, you should be ok, keeping in mind you need to re-copy it over to the secure underground facility manually for every campaign mission you might happen to fly during the testing phase.
  16. From the future, eh? Tell me who wins the Superbowl and I'll split my winnings with you!
  17. More from Jasta 11!
  18. Switching to ze Germans for a bit!
  19. Ohh! That looks nice! Happy Holidays to everyone this season!
  20. Here's 25 and somewhat unexpectedly 26!
  21. Yes. Boxing Day will be soon enough...
  22. 24 and there's so much more...
  23. Back into the action!
  24. A) I just had to look to see if they were different and B) There is a specific sequence to follow to make sure you have completely removed WOFF. I can't remember if it is mentioned in the FAQ, but I know I have been stung by it before. I would look for that and double check the steps to see if it helps. Good Luck! Also, just curious, but why would you need to remap? Was it not working? Not that it helps much, but I have probably the same stick and it seems to work, so it's at least not a compatibility problem.
