  1. Volodnikov, it's a great shot - and it would be even greater, if you had waited, until the blinking SIMULATION PAUSED had been "off".
  2. Update 04/21/10 08:28 Berlin summertime (= GMT + 2) jsalbano, Colorado, added. Colorado can play ping pong now! All the maps are in post 1 of this thread
  3. Click on "Workshop" from the start screen; click on "Graphic settings" there; click on "file"; click on "Change display options"; choose your resolution. (This may sometime slip back, so at next start, it could be set wrong again. Best to check it after every new start of the sim). Also make sure after that, that the FOV (field of view) relationship is right. Here, the length to width relationship of your screen can be translated into FOV numbers. The larger the numbers (I think?), the wider is your FOV, and the smaller do aircraft appear. Set it to your likes.
  4. Well, to be precise, the D Va skin is done by Paarma or OvS, and me. I would have had a lot of extra trouble, if I had had to find out the red outline on the tail myself. The addition of a personal emblem is exactly, what everyone could do to the uploaded skins - looks great. This one isn't there yet. I'll upload some, when my "hard work phase" will be over; in about two weeks. Great you can enjoy the sim and skins again now, Barkhorn!
  5. Haven't got any response from a New Zealander yet, UncleAl. Who is he? If there is anyone, please give me a PM with your town, and I'll create a new map.
  6. Update 04/20/10 23:22 Berlin summertime (= GMT + 2) Volodnikov, Florida, added. All the maps are in post 1 of this thread
  7. ...Widowmaker, by virtue of his highly superior brains, shall rule in my stead... assisted by Olham, by virtue of his magnificent heart...and Von Paulus, by virtue of his courage...and uncleal, by virtue of his fringe lunacy...and rabu, by virtue of his fine skinning abilities...and Ras and Rickitycrate, by virtue of their Minnesotaness...and...and...ah Hell, you're all in charge. Okay, guys, I know a good trick: let's keep up a good forum! He won't be able to resist a sneak view from time to time. And when he likes, what he finds, he may not be able to resist the urge to comment on this or that - and then we got him back! Mmuahahahahahahaaa!!!!
  8. Yupp - looks like a real pilot is trying to catch a glimpse of you over the edge of the wing. Hasse Wind - so true what you said!
  9. Thanks for the numbers, Herr Prop-Wasche. Not sure, if numbers got mixed up, or purpously set "wrong" to still get the result right. But what I know is, that yesterday I tried to turn after some DH-5 at about 10.000 feet in a D.III, which was blubbering like a dying soap box up there. At the attempt to turn the craft left, it stalled as if we were in the thin air of the stratosphere, and when catching up the stall and pulling her round, the right wingtip broke off! It was absolutely ridiculous! Sorry, but if you had seen it, you would say the same.
  10. Well - the title says it all - enjoy this modell on their website; there are many more pics! http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/customermodels
  11. Oh my! See that E.V !
  12. Carrick, is your SIMULATION PAUSED permanent, or does it blink on and off? If it blinks, you could press "screenshot" in a moment, when it's off.
  13. Never had that happening. But with a set up as yours, even that is fun to watch.
  14. Okay, sorry, James, haven't been here for two days. I will send you my E-mail address now. I am running Vista (32 bit), and I will test it, if you want.
  15. Nice one, Widowmaker - you Crumpets can't really be as bad as everybody says.
  16. Lou, this announcement feels to me, as if a long time friend suddenly tells me, will move to Tibet, and that there won't be any connection, as there is not even the internet. I will not describe in detail how it feels now... If there are specific reasons, please send me a PM - I have been working very hard during the whole last week and may have missed something? If there aren't, and you just feel you want a total change, I respect that; I am a bit like that too, sometimes. Whenever you feel like coming back - maybe under another name? - don't hesitate. I will recognise you, I believe. For now, I say goodbye - with a 'non-military hug' to one of the forum members I always cherished most. I will miss you.
  17. Never seen it yet, Lou. Must be "Crumpet side"? Been working hard and long all week, hardly time to read all here.
  18. So true! I count 15 or 16 planes! Which time in 1917 was it, Mike?
  19. Update 04/16/10 19:44 Berlin wintertime (= GMT + 1) tdacon, Washington, added. All the maps are in post 1 of this thread
  20. OvS, we have a problem with Tabun and Senfgas granades in the Baltic sea. After WW2, ships were sent out to dump these in special areas. But now, one has discovered in old note, that these ships cannot have reach the dump zones, cause their times for the trips from start to return was far too short. In other words - they dumped the granades much closer to land; and no one knows where.
  21. Well, I'm far from being a computer or software expert, but my KASPERSKI Anti Virus program has a section called "Program Control". And that seems very busy sometimes when I'm running stuff like TrackIR or games. So I always disconnect from the web, and switch KASPERSKI off for the time I fly the sim. Since that, I don't have hang-ups anymore. Just my 2 cent...
  22. Here is are two copies of that book for 80,- and 110,- Dollars. Type the title into the search window. http://www.eurobuch....rch_results.php
  23. Winder, I didn't expect it to be changed for P3 anymore, but just wanted it to be on the list for P4 - which I think it is now. Thank you guys.
  24. Wow, a Brisfit! That is something to kill! Well done, boys!
  25. Rabu, I like to work out some personal skins for aircraft I like to fly myself. So, although I'm mostly flying Albatros campaigns, I always have a British and often a French pilot too. I am a European there, seeing that the former enemies had built some great aircraft, too. And I enjoy the Tripe. Thanks for the compliment!
