  1. I copied the original credits and you weren't in there, so I had no idea, sorry. If you made the original skins, then you should have been credited from the beginning and apparently that wasn't the case. And I didn't just copy, I redrew certain parts and went looking for hi-res material. But the new skins are of course based on the originals. I added you to the credits. I hope that's ok for you now.
  2. View File F3H-2 Demon skins This is an improved skin pack for the F3H-2 Demon. It does not contain the plane. You need to download it first from the SF1 download section. What's new? The lines and rivets are redrawn in 2048x2048, as well as most of the squadron specific art and markings. I also modified the opacity a bit of the decals to make them more blend with the skins. Installation: 1. If you haven't done so, first download and install the F3H-2 Demon add-on aircraft. Get it here: http://combatace.com/files/file/5215-f3h-demon 2. Paste the skin folders from this pack in your Aircraft folder Objects/Aircraft/F3H-2 3. Paste the decals into the Decals folder: Objects/Decals/F3H-2 PS: I also included the templates I made with all the artwork, weathering, etc. In case anyone would like to create more skins. In the Demon03 file you need to change the position of the Star and change the light colour to get the Demon04. 4. I've been searching for the F-86 template by ravenclaw in the SF1 download section, but I can"t find it. I'm either square-eyed or it's no longer there?
  5. most of the skins had a facelift, will upload soon...
  6. hey wrench it's not about setting the opacity it's about doing it for multiple files at the same time, batch processing there are some plug-ins out there for gimp, but none contain opacity to batch process several files
  7. reskinning the Demon, for now only VF-13 redrawn lines and rivets, but the still the old 3d model, so not really perfect but i think it's due for a facelift wip...
  8. nice, the scratches in the camo one are a tad too much any chance on having the clean layers so we can import them in the template and tune the weathering a bit? other than that, great to have proper CF-104 skins!
  9. I'd like to make a whole bunch of decals a bit more transparent. Some are just too black... I know how to do it in Gimp, but is there a way to change a certain number of them in one go? It'd be a time-saver... Or in Photoshop for that matter...
  10. any recent developments? looked very promising!
  11. yeah i have it, although i think the AMI had Mk4's not Mk6's... i don't know what the difference was though were the camos actually the same as the canadian ones? but the AMI had silver sabres initially (don't know when exactly) i guess one could you re-use the same decals, but with black numbering and use a generic silver skin i can give it a try, but i just don't have the time at the moment
  12. grande! much appreciated i guess what's missing now is Italian sabres, both silver and camo ones...
  13. yeah... i use layers of inverted lines and rivets and shift by 1 pixel, and mess around with the transparency it kinda works almost done with the skins... just a few details and then test how the damn thing looks in game :-)
  14. I'm working on templates for the DH Venom, hi-res 2048 I redrew the lines and added rivets... but can i make bump maps? If so, what files names should I use? Do I go for SM_ ?
  15. too bad.. is there a template by the way, i looked for it in the SF1 section, but nothing to find i'd like to change the RAF colours to match the ones from the Hunters... and maybe add a few rivets... would be great :-)
  16. just downloaded this, looking nice but unfortunately, the italian decals are missing... any chance on getting them?
  17. just discovered that the tail codes of VF-154 are missing i guess it was NK around 84...
  18. never mind, it looks like most decal for marines squadrons are the same... some renaming did the trick there's a VMFA-112 decal folder though and no aircraft for it... maybe a typo?
