  1. Fictional VFA-32 100 years of Naval Aviation F/A-18F scheme

Original text by David F. Brown:

Don't know if the Swordsmen have finalized a 100th Anniversary of US Naval Aviation paint scheme. I've attached a scheme designed by Author/Historian David F. Brown and Aviation Artist/Illustrator Geoff Martin.
Hopefully, at least to the Swordsmen, this scheme will need no explanation. But for those who are not familiar with VF-32 operations during the Koren War, this scheme is a mix of markings worn by F4U-4 Corsairs
flown by Ens Jesse Leroy Brown, the Navy's first black Naval Aviator and Lt(jg) Thomas Hudner. Lt Hudner was awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor when he attempted to rescue Ens Brown after he was shot down
over North Korea. Unfortunately, Lt Brown died from injuries sustained in his forced landing. I cannot think of a more fitting tribute to these former Swordsmen.

This scheme was found on the VFA-32 Swordsman Facebook page, and after getting halfway through with it, I found out it wasn't accepted. However, I thought it was pretty cool so I finished it, with the knowledge of
David F. Brown. All original work is form him and Geoff Martin from Afterburner Decals, though none were used.

Due to the specialised tanks, it is only designed for Strike Fighters 2 only.

Drop in the FA-18F directory and fly.

A loose interpretation based off a VMFAT-101 F/A-18A or C Hornet adapted for the F/A-18F. The skin tone is itself a modified version of the VFA-122 CO Desert scheme.

Simply drop it into the FA-18F directory and go fly. Can also work on the E version or G version as well...

  8. German Super Hornets

Well at one point this was not going to be a What If plane set but since Germany decided to go with the F-35 in real life I decided to submit this as a What If due to the hard work put forth by crisisloaner and me. Initial  work was done by crisisloaner with some editing and tweaks by me to make it available for download.
    - Pilots is from a mod unknown (but I suspect a Tornado mod)
    - Some decals are from guruu's Tornado mod and added for use on the Supers.
    - All weapons needed to run this mod are included. Other weapons are from the various weapon packs that you can get from this site and you should be able to run this without requiring the Super Hornet pack to play.
    - Included is a German version of the EA-18G and features JaboG 32 as a unit. Included is one F/A-18F squadron, AG51 "Immelman", and also included is a Marineflieger version with two squadrons included. Any inaccuracies, questions should be directed here:

  9. Guided Weapons Tutorial

This has been out "unofficially" for a few years, finally got off my butt and uploaded it. While it was made in February 2010 it still is a handy little guide on how to drop guided weapons that the game supports.
