I already debunked your hypothesis but I like to remind it to you again :). (Please revisit the post on page 1 for more details). Even if the applet would have been allowed 33 entries, the Mirage 2000N/D (one entry only) would have gathered still... 12 votes. (The ones who voted for one Mirage, voted, in the same time, for the other with only one exception). The rest of the ones who voted, as you could notice, they chose NOT to vote for it, whether it was one plane package or a two planes package. If they would have been separated, one couldn't vote for both, so the maximum would have been still...12 votes. So , yes, you are wrong and as you can notice I am telling you that exactly as you anticipated it. :) PS - I know that you got it, from my first post, and now you are just simulating that you didn't (or whatever). Either way , I enjoyed explaining to you the matter again. :)

I first told myself , when the pandemic was in full blown, that I will purchase a VR device, but then they were out of stock. I was seeing those exclusive games for VR ads , that I found them interesting to take a look at. Maybe I will buy an Oucculus Rift device after all someday. Thanks for the input anyway, it gives some clues of what one can expect from the VR realm.

Umm...Don't have any problem with the eventual people who will protest about results. I don't mind. What I remember clearly was that the community inner core was larger than this. I was here when tens of members (veterans, old ones) spoke about one or another and long time not just a week or two. I didn't see their names here lately. (Dave, Fubar, Roussok, Paulo, FastCargo, Column5 and many others) Who knows maybe my memory is not that good nowadays... If 1000 (or more) would vote, I bet even you would be pleasently suprised. :)

One week and just 66 votes. A very little thin "core" until now. I was, personally, expecting a much more interest about the matter...Maybe a large part of community is too busy in the real life...and don't know anything about the subject yet.

I followed the vote every step. With one exception persons who voted Mirage N, also voted Mirage D so...the figure would be the same if it were Mirage D/N. If you voted 1p Mirage N and in the same time 1p Mirage D, still one point it would have had if it were alone (Mirage N/D), it wouldn't be double. So basically it's the same thing. I doubt that the large part of the whole sum who voted other planes already , would have barged in to vote the Mirage (N/D) if it would have been one plane.(Mirage N/D)

Alright. If a solid majority (from the ones who voted and new people who will vote till the deadline) rally to your idea of a "finale", maybe I will take into consideration the proposed system. But if you are in a "beyond any doubt" minority, obviously...I won't and it will remain the vote as it is. I think this resolution is fair enough.

I see your point, you want a real majority to support a winner. What do we do if even that 100% (let's pretend that they all vote) of members choose a winner with just 25% of the vote ? In a way the "majority" spoke, freely, what it wanted, right? If 100% would vote, still you wouldn't support a winner with just 25% ? Of course , here, we don't know if all, who are really interested to vote, voted. But as well, maybe that real "core" is the "100%" gathered by now, interested in voting and that's all there is. If let's say 50 or more percent of the whole members mass are not really interested in voting, you wouldn't know it either, isn't it ?, because they won't come here just to let us know that, right ? That is why I established a two week vote, hoping that we will gather , at least, a stable "core" of interested voters. For me, THAT is a realistic majority, the core, the ones really interested in voting. I also would like to hear other opinions as well about this matter ("let's take a second vote after the first" etc). Don't get me wrong, I DON'T want to impose anything here, I want exactly what I declared in the beginnings, a plane wanted and voted by YOU. So the discussion is open.

So if 1000, let's say, vote and 25% goes to X plane it wouldn't be clear who won ? Is that what you imply ? Of course, in our situation there's no such figure of 1000 (until now at least, there are 10 more days until the poll is closed), they are just 60 so far. But if , let's say if 60 is a representative figure of the actively community core, then why should we make a second round ? If, let's say for the sake of the argument, 60 (or even a little more) is the stable figure why bother futhermore ? Wouldn't be that representative enough ? THAT"S the question I would like to see it answered by you, let alone that ...you can't change the rules during the process once you already established them just because the outcome doesn't look as you hoped for.. It wouldn't be fair as a principle.

IMO, paying for just a single plane, no matter how great it looks and realistic etc etc full price, like you would buy a triple A game, is a rip off, out of the bat, pure and simple. I will NEVER, EVER pay full game price for just one plane, even if I can afford it to buy them all. Just my opinion. I'm talking about DCS of course.

And if that were the case, it would have had a SINGLE vote, not two like today, so it's the same thing. I'm sure you are not implying to cummulate to votes for Mirage D and N, are you ? That would be...cheating.
