I still have the same problem with Windows 10 and a back up PC (with old hardware). It was working fine with Windows 10 and since a repair shop reinstalled Windows 10 without my intervention, SF2 refuses to run with the same exact symptom ("The loading screen crash all the time."). It isn't a hardware problem because it was running fine before the reinstallation without any compatibility adjustements. I've tried all possible compatibility fixes plus various other suggestions found in this forum but nothing worked and I've left it. However my conclussion is that it is related with the user settings, or the license type. Initially I had a purchased Windows 10 license and after the crash the repair shop was lazy to ask me or to find the activation key of the previous version and installed another version with a volume license. Can you check your license version ?

I think that GKABS is absolutely right, with the proper therapy the side effects will be temporary and it will be a matter of time for them to significantly subside.

Kevin we've found 1-2 pictures in historical books of RHAF Mk.V's with the Abukir filter but they must have been very few to do another variant with just those few airframes.

Dear friend, we're trying to be historicaly accurate as much as possible. The RHAF Spifires never carried external fuel tanks and this is the reason of their omission.

Your implementation of the MTU-J1K is worth much more than a like or a thank you . It is actually the first such modeling in any F-104G model in any sim. When we can replicate reality related details in the virtual world the author should always be praised. Congratulations Yakarov79 !

100% true. Besides that SF2, in its current form still provides a nice experience of Aerial Combat, is surprisingly stable (yes it still is in 2026 and Windows 11) and also a host of hundreds of great mods for all of its content, which make it an eternal Air Warfare Simulation Game (?), otherwise there wouldn't have been so many of us here discussing about it.

Hello, bear in mind that it is almost impossible in reality to get the Mirage F1 in a spin and especially a flat spin. It stalls by just dropping the nose. -

In fact there is a cinematic play (not replay) possibility. I didn't know about it because when I was shot down I always opted to refly the mission, but Sophocles gave me the clue. Here is how you can access it and it is pretty enjoyable: 1. In the mission editor you create a mission with multiple target areas and multiple flights for both sides. 2. You make sure that all flights have an "excellent" skill status. 3. As soon as you take off you bail out. 4. You start to enjoy one of the best aerial warfare films ever produced. -

Φίλε Τάσο καλησπέρα (μετά από πολύ καιρό)
Σου στέλνω το πακέτο των Ελληνικών F-104G as real as it gets in SF2. Το πακέτο βασίζεται στο stock TW model με πολλές επεμβάσεις και κυρίως με την πλήρη αναβάθμιση του outdated cockpit από τον φίλο Φάνη (SOPHOCLES) που είναι και ο designer του pitot tube (επιτέλους μετά τη μάπα του stock). Όλος ο όπλισμός που περιέχεται (φανταστική δουλεία του Volker) ανταποκρίνεται πλήρως στην πραγματικότητα όπως και τα loadouts των versions. Περιέχεται ακόμα και ο unique διπλός φορέας βομβών τών Ελληνικών F-104 ελληνικής πατέντας και κατασκευής καθώς επίσης και όλα τα decals που ανταποκρίνονται στην διαχρονική δύναμη των δύο ιστορικών Μοιρών 335 και 336. Ενδεχομένως να γίνει upload από τον Φάνη (δεν θέλω να γίνει από μένα λόγω ιδότητας) στην μνήμη του αείμνηστου πατέρα μου ΙΩΑΝΝΗ ΜΠΕΚΑ θρυλικής μορφής των Starfighter και θα περιλαμβάνει οσονούπω δύο S/N's που σχετίζονται με αυτόν (το πρώτο solo και η τελευταία πτήση του). Ελπίζω να τα χαρείς.
