  1. When I first heard this Robust Nuclear Earth Penetrator, I knew they in the Bush administration were watching LEXX on the SciFi 24hr Stargate Channel late night. They had to.
  2. Dirk:: I don't have sound on my computer(*), so it wasn't that bad. I loved the visuals. Cool vid. UFO looked like a small bird, flapping wings and all. (*) I JAM stereo when I play The StrikeFighters. Playing music really loud helps me relax during the dogfight woof woof
  3. Always thought the best looking was ercoupe/aircoupe ~> http://www.ercoupe.org/ futuristic looking even today.
  4. Makes good video for TheSims forums though. See if I can find the story. A B-47 pilot did that, kinda. Flew under a bridge on a high altitude training mission. Kinda dumb but some guys are like that. One of the crew ratted him out. Pilot paid for that stunt, very high career price. Top #1 best astronaut was Frank Borman. The other yahoos would fly their cute T~38s across the Gulf of BP, saving time. Regs said they had to fly the coast. If I recall, Borman was the only, or one of a very few, to fly the coast.
  5. Nobody man fits these words and climbs to the top of any political culture anywhere, unless he's a front. The behavior is for show, and keeps the souls distracted, domestically, internationally, or both. Everybody does it. It works.
  6. Woa, I figured all the souls here would go lolz lexx wtf? Thanks fellas and fellattes. The girls say that makes them feel like a slab of fish, but with a saucer size eyed smile, as its something different. The woman and her football friend: This happened over here, a year or so back. Teh internets egging on a possible suicide. I think he/she carried it out, don't remember now. Here's my....personal fave example of American Personhood. From: President of the United States Franklin Delano Roosevelt To: The United States Congress Dated: 5 April, 1933 Presidential Executive Order 6102 ~ http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=14611 : : : Section 1. .... .... ....The term "person" means any individual, partnership, association or corporation. Section 2. All persons are hereby required to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, to a Federal Reserve Bank or a branch or agency thereof or to any member bank of the Federal Reserve System all gold coin, gold bullion and gold certificates now owned by them or coming into their ownership on or before April 28, 1933, except the following: : : :etc... Executive Order 6102 ~> http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=14611 Yea go ahead read it. Not banks again? wtf lexx lolz Not complaining. Banks is us, our mask, our free money, but not our freedom. When the personas fall away, the souls remain. How was that? I should stick to playing The StrikeFighters.
  7. Woa that's sad. Awsom pretty gal too. Dad:: He liked a beer and football, normal lad. That isn't much. UK_W:: Maybe that's part of the problem today. You never see me poast the word "person" at THE COMBATACE. And more and more recently, I never say it out in the real world. No~way~no. Did you know that in our society... Corporations are persons. Churches are persons. Nations and States are persons. Men and women are persons. Something weird here. For years I was always suspicious of the massive spread of the word "person." Latin for Mask, a legal construct. It feels so de~humanizing in a way. I finally figured it out. A few weeks back I was looking for a new bible version. I don't generally like the New Age bibles, so I tried NKJV (New King James Version). Pretty good, supposedly taken from the same Greek and Hebrew as olde KJV, but the translators went nuts with "person." NKJV Genesis 46: 26-27 goes ape with "persons" and "persons" --- 4 uses in 2 versus. That was my decision to go back to ye olde KJV. KJV uses the word souls 4 times in those 2 versus. That's when it dawned on me last week.... Corporations do not have a soul. Churches do not have a soul. Nations do not have a soul. ~> Men and women have souls. That's it! Anyways, alot of Masks souls feel lost today. Being a mask or "person" may not be helping.
  8. Discoverer: Atom What is the density?
  9. :good:
  10. In the real world, when appropriate like something needing done fast, or lacking time, I say... no time to wallow in the mire Most folks -- mmm. A few get it though.
  11. Yeah its one of their hardcore tragedies. Very weird and sad. Fantasmycal music though. If a friend texts you Jim Morrison lyrics, get that Concerned look on your face quick. Know your DOORS songs.
  12. Shooting at nearby houses is kinda asking for it, even if it wasn't a rifle. That should be considered as a very stupid move. Going nuts is cool, just leave the firearms out. The DOORS. Text is from the 1967 song The End.
  13. Yea Jedi -- in this case, lack of publicity, as well as availability. They are marketed as "fun" devices. This kind of thing happens. For example, going into debt to banks is was marketed to us as fun. We "upstanding citizens" all told each other bank debt was fun. We "should" know that pointing lasers, or going into debt, are dangerous things. We fail. They didn't find anything. The fruit picker came out when he heard they were looking. That's one responsible, upstanding man. They got lucky, this time. I used to climb towers. Way out in the country U.S.S.A. some bubbahs would take rifle shots at tower climbers. Finding somebody like that who knew they did wrong and tried to hide would be impressive. I bought a flashlight once, it had both white and red light. Turns out I didn't read the label. The red was laser. I threw it away cos I don't like being around "fun" lasers. I saw a laser once. Never want to again.
  14. C~124 gimmie Gimmie GIMMIE I was always fascinated by this plane. As for episode, I don't even know what show but you can't beat Jeannie with Captain (black-n-white) Anthony Nelson taking off in F-104, flying around in F-106, and landing in T-38, or some permutated order of those three. I wish we could do that in The SF (TK making Thudwire F-106 mmmm).
  15. If one of those blades bind up, well maybe they have a quick drop releace or something.
  16. Nice fade from game P-51 to real King Air views showing similar runway+terrain motion. That's fluffy. He just said decrease FOV value, or in pillow talk, zoom in. ...i think
  17. I have more things to do for my long term SF project, but other things get in the way for now. One other thing mentioned by someone earlier is terrain detail. Fly over smooth sea or flat salt lake bed and you may get the feeling of slow movement. That is how it should be (I think). The last thing is exploring terrain distances with external free camera. Here's my fast acting easily controlled setup... [ViewClass001] ViewClassName=FreeViewClass ViewType=FREE_VIEW ViewGroupID=0 DefaultView= AllowFromDiffGroup=TRUE SnapView=FALSE InsideView=FALSE FOV=90 PitchControl=CAMERA_PITCH_AXIS YawControl=CAMERA_YAW_AXIS RollControl= ZoomControl=CAMERA_ZOOM_CONTROL RememberFOV=FALSE LimitPitch=FALSE LimitYaw=FALSE LimitRoll=FALSE ZoomFOV=FALSE StepZoom=FALSE ZoomScale=0.001 PanScale=0.01 MinFOV=90 MaxFOV=90 OffsetDistance=0.0 The trick I use to switch from exploring whole maps to exploring inside aircraft or other models is the ZoomScale. Its not really "zoom" but you use your chosen zoom control but it controls the freecam's translation, not field of view. I make the following changes to the freecam block... ZoomScale=0.001 gives intricate movement to explore the details of external models and weapons and lots of small stuff. Just add a leading 1 to the value and you get... ZoomScale=10.001 lets you translate across hundreds or thousands of kilometer terrain. Deleting that leading one gets you back to 0.001, all in one swift keystroke.
  18. To show the game dimensions and speed are spot on, compare the game's data display with roving free camera data output. Here is how to get debug data. Extract the Huddata.ini in Flight folder cat file. Set debug data display to TRUE. On screen data can be shown in font and size to taste. Some sizes work better at some resolutions than others. The first lines are... [Debug] DisplayDebug=TRUE TextFontName=Arial TextSize=9 : : : Next: Free cam
  19. Short article on field of view ~> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Field_of_view Interesting computer game take on this... Inadequate Field of View (FoV) might cause virtual motion sickness ~> http://ferv0r.wordpress.com/2010/07/03/inadequate-field-of-view-fov-might-cause-virtual-motion-sickness/ Remember fellas: Increase FOV and things move slower on screen. Now, mash your face on the monitor and things move faster, or get an Eyefinity setup. Gaming FOV is a number generally restricted to the interval (0,180) in degrees. You can get a fishbowl effect by setting FOV near like 170 in THE SF. FOV = 180 might crash the game if I recall, mmm dunno now.
  20. +1 Fub PadFoott:: Man we are feeling fluffy tonight. Because you do not have the experience to pay attention to the poasts suggesting ideas on computer monitor, field of view, and game data display found on the last page? ...and this from a guy who does not fly (and never will), although I did train in private flying but was too freaked out at the time to worry about how "fast" the terrain moved lol (and not wealthy enough to continue training, too bad).
  21. Pad:: I forgot, cos I didn't do it....another did. There's an ini edit somewhere here, at THE COMBATACE!!! It works wonders. I think it involved two (2) Viewlist blocks.
  22. Derk:: HAHA I edited a new example. You caught it. The original example was a guy zooming in paying all attention to a girl's swimsuit while a big KJV bible thrown by his wife flies at his head he doesn't even see it cos he was too focused on teh swimsuit. Keep zoomed out for the big picture fellas!!
  23. x8:: That's how it should be. Narrow field of view for seeing details, wide field of view for seeing the big picture around you (orientation, clouds...). This can be thought of as simulating our "focusing attention" on one or the other purpose. Sometimes you can use them together -- spot a dot, zoom in (say squint your eyes), and see if you can ID the target....but while you are squinting real hard something can come up aside your vision and bonk you cos you are paying all attention to the target. Something like that. The trick is setup your zoom control so you quickly zoom in and out--quickly change field of view. TK's default view controls are all crippled out-of-box. They game's view controls are so slow and frustrating you can't wait to close the game and get back to Microsoft Windows. That's pretty bad. So you change it. Here's my Viewlist.ini in-cockpit view control setup...try it...SF1 [ViewClass002] ViewClassName=CockpitViewClass ViewType=FIXED_VIEW ViewGroupID=1 DefaultView=CockpitFront AllowFromDiffGroup=TRUE SnapView=FALSE InsideView=TRUE FocusObjectOnly=TRUE FOV=90 PitchControl=CAMERA_PITCH_AXIS YawControl=CAMERA_YAW_AXIS RollControl= ZoomControl=CAMERA_ZOOM_CONTROL JumpToViewSameGroup=FALSE JumpToViewDiffGroup=TRUE SmoothAngleTransition=TRUE SmoothPositionTransition=FALSE SmoothFOVTransition=FALSE RememberAngle=FALSE //RememberFOV=FALSE //LimitPitch=FALSE //LimitYaw=FALSE RememberFOV=TRUE LimitPitch=TRUE LimitYaw=TRUE LimitRoll=FALSE ZoomFOV=TRUE ZoomScale=0.10 PanScale=0.01 MinSpeed=0 MaxSpeed=0 Acceleration=0 AngleRates=480,360,360 FOVRate=60 MinAngles=-135,-20,0 MaxAngles=135,110,0 MinFOV=30 MaxFOV=90 OffsetDistance=0.06 TrackIRUseAbsolutePos=TRUE Most important for fast switching between wide and narror field of view is...in bold italic below. The others may be helpful also. Experiment to Taste. ZoomScale=0.10 PanScale=0.01 MinSpeed=0 MaxSpeed=0 Acceleration=0 AngleRates=480,360,360 FOVRate=60 MinAngles=-135,-20,0 MaxAngles=135,110,0 MinFOV=30 MaxFOV=90
  24. Loaded with sea conditions? When I see seaplane vids the water is smooth and quiet. But if the water was like what we see on the B-25 vids, I dunno. Anyways PBY slow. Maybe a night strike butt what would that show? Day strike and everybody could see Japan had its pants down. B-25 better for this, enough to try the carrier thing.
  25. Man that was getting in touch with your fluffy side. "Zoom in" and look out the side and down to the ground when flying at treetop level. If you "zoom in" and keep looking out front, you are restricting your vision to farther distance in front of you that you are moving toward, and that should look slow.
